      Walkthroughs generally tell you what you should do next instead of telling you the limits of what you're allowed to do next. So looking it up is a little harder than it sounds.

      Though I suppose everyone I've been talking to has been reading the card descriptions wrong: you can't summon extra deck monsters outside of the extra monster zone without a link monster?

      We don't know if things like Ultimaya/Bahamut Shark can or if yo ucan revive one to a MMZ, but otherwise no.

       

      Link Monsters "unlock" the zones they're linked to, so you can summon ED monsters to them.
