You can still flip monsters, but just that you have to use it on your turn only. Card is good for what it's worth though; searching is always welcome and resetting stuff sounds good. VCR_CAT Posted September 15, 2017 Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 it being a FLIP monster is really good for what it does, it also makes the Link monster more viable to have on the field; giving you a better means to gain advantage as well as disrupt the opponent. Not to mention, that it also makes combos with Tarotrei also more viable. Shame Hidden City isn't a Subterror card, though. And shame about it's typing/attribute combo; kinda hard to work in bonus support for the deck with that. Still, should open up some better plays with the deck as a whole. notcleverusername Posted September 15, 2017 Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 Card could become key to a Subterror engine.In the meantime, keep eye out for possible ruling that you can use it as CL2 if Final Battle is CL1 (you can use it if Cave Clash is face-up but ew) Also, mentioned this elsewhere as rando meem, but you can summon it with Hieratic Atum, Set it and your opp's monster (resetting this card's ATK, for what that's worth), and then go into Gaia Drake for piercing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted September 15, 2017 Report Share Posted September 15, 2017 Honestly I wish that Final Battle had you choose which effect to use at resolution rather than at activation. ("Apply 1 of these effects" rather than "Activate 1 of these effects"). That way, you'd be able to activate Final Battle, chain this effect to flip an opponent's monster, then use the effect of Final Battle to flip this face up, allowing you to search Fiendess and have it live.
