Draconus297
[spoiler=Prompt]Logicangel Oh hai archetype that will definitely get Reasoning banned. This Fairy-Type archetype is composed of 12 monsters in the Main Deck, each at different Levels. Similar to Infernoids, they have a Level-based Special Summon mechanic, and it's a doozy: it's basically a Main Deck only equivalent to Synchro/Pendulum Summon, where you can send monsters from your side of the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon members from your hand or Graveyard whose combined Level is equal to the combined Levels of those sent monsters. For example, you can send the Level 5 and the Level 4 from the field to the Graveyard to bring out the Level 7 from your hand and the Level 2 from the Graveyard. You can even use this on your opponent's turn for effect dodging! The catch: The Levels have to be exact, so the lower-Level monsters are absolutely essential to make your combo plays work, either as fodder for the big guys or to deal with accidental overflow. Also, you can't Summon a member this way if you already did this turn, meaning that if you split the Level 8 into 2 Level 4s, you can't turn the Level 9 into 2 more Level 4s and a 1 later. Most members have an on-Summon effect or a Graveyard effect, a rare few have both, and exactly one has neither: The Level 1, your Decatron. Don't let her get banished, because if you do you're going to have a godawful time. Also, as a note of flavor, female members use "-iel", male members use "-ael", and they're named after scientific, logical, and philosophical concepts- for example, "Fallacael"- "fallacy" + "-ael" (of God). I have wanted to do this one for a while, actually. The main thing I wanted to do here was prevent abusive loops, and I had two noteworthy holes to close: The one mentioned in the prompt, familiar to anyone who has seen De-Synchro get abused in builds that went for triples of Quasar or Trish; and the more devious loophole of using a Logicangel to Special Summon another copy of itself to abuse their on-Summon or floating effects. I have a feeling that I at least did a decent job of it, creating a Deck that manages to both work and not just exist to feed degenerate OTKs. To alleviate the inevitable bricking this concept would face, what I decided to do was give 5 members in the archetype self-Summon effects to get your plays started, in addition to the ability to jump back and forth rather freely. Also, you'll notice that only two members in the archetype have restrictions on their Summon, letting you Normal Summon most of them given the proper situation. [spoiler= Monsters]Logicangel DystopielDARK - Level 1 - Fairy/Effect - 500/100You can send 1 "Logicangel" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard: This monster becomes the same Level as the sent monster, until the End Phase (you can only activate this effect of this card's name once per turn). If this monster is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Logicangel" monster, you cannot Summon monsters with this monster's name by the effect of a "Logicangel" monster for the rest of the turn. [spoiler= Traps]Dogmatic School of Logicangel Lore Normal TrapThis turn, "Logicangel" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. If the combined Levels of "Logicangel" monsters you control are 15 or higher, you can activate this card from your hand. During your turn, except during the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard, you can banish this card from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Logicangel" monster from your Graveyard whose Level is less than or equal to the number of cards your opponent controls. Natural School of Logicangel Lore Normal Trap If your opponent Special Summons a monster from their hand or Graveyard while you control a face-up "Logicangel" monster, you can destroy the Summoned monster: Special Summon 1 "Logicangel" monster from your hand or Deck whose ATK is less than or equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster. During either player's turn, you can banish this card from your Graveyard, except during the turn it was sent there, to target 1 "Logicangel" monster you control: Add 1 "Logicangel" monster from your Deck to your hand whose Level is exactly 1 or 2 less than the Level of the target. You can only activate each effect of this card's name once per turn. Analytic School of Logicangel LoreNormal Trap Until the End Phase, your opponent's cards and effects that target "Logicangel" monsters you control are negated. If your opponent activates a card or effect while the combined Levels of "Logicangel" monsters you control are 15 or higher, you can Set this card from your Graveyard (you can only activate this effect of this card's name once per turn). You can banish this card from your Graveyard, except during the turn it was sent there: Until the End Phase, your opponent cannot select "Logicangel" monsters you control as an attack target. Revisionist School of Logicangel Lore Normal TrapIf your opponent Special Summons a monster(s) from their Extra Deck, you can Special Summon 1 "Logicangel" monster from your hand or Deck whose ATK is less than or equal to that monster's (combined) ATK, and if you do, negate the effects of that Summoned monster(s). If you control less monsters than your opponent, you can banish this card from your Graveyard, except during the turn it was sent there: You can Special Summon a "Logicangel" monster(s) from your Graveyard by shuffling a number of "Logicangel" monsters from your Graveyard into your Deck equal to the number of monsters you would Summon +1. You can only activate each effect of this card's name once per turn. Traditionalist School of Logicangel Lore Normal Trap Target 1 monster on the field, except a "Logicangel" monster: Special Summon 1 "Logicangel" monster from your hand, Deck, Graveyard, or Banished Zone whose Level is equal to that target's Level/Rank. Then, for the rest of this turn after this effect resolves, you can add 1 "Logicangel" card from your Deck to your hand each time a card(s) is added to your opponent hand. During your opponent's Main Phase, you can pay 1000 LP to Set this card from your Graveyard. Reformist School of Logicangel LoreNormal Trap If your opponent has activated 4 or more monster effects this turn: You can send 2 "Logicangel" monsters with different Levels from your Deck to the Graveyard; Draw 2 cards, then negate the effects of a number of cards your opponent controls up to the number of "Logicangel" cards you drew. If you control no monsters, you can activate this card from your hand. You can banish this card from your Graveyard: Special Summon up to 1 "Logicangel" monster each from your hand, Graveyard, and/or Banished Zone. You can only activate each effect of "Reformist School of Logicangel Lore" once per turn.

Nekomata
I really like the concept of the Archetype, I think the Summoning mechanic is smart and original. Also, you'll need to think about the next moves before doing anything, and I love decks that aren't easy to play.Let's see the cards one by one. Logicangel DystopielMill a Logicangel, level modulation. Nice playmaker that fits the Archetype. 3 copies of this are needed. Logicangel FallacaelSS from the hand, backrow destruction. Basic, yet solid. I got nothing to say. Logical EntropielSS from the hand if there are 2 Logicangels. -800 ATK and DEF. Same as Fallacael. Logicangel ParadaelSS from the hand when there are no monsters, searches a monster. Yep, 3 copies of this too. I like the fact that if you want to search, you could use the Logicangel concept. Logicangel RochielBubbleman Summon, draw 1 card. Maybe the draw power is too free? I don't know, seems fair in the current meta. Logicangel UbermaelSS if in a disadvantage, DD Crow. You might need this to make higher level monsters. Logicangel EgoielIf SS, target, if the target is destroyed, SS a lower/equal level Logicangel from deck. Interesting mechanic. So it works even after Egoiel leaves the field? Because if it does, then it's a really good card, but if it isn't, you have to wait until the Battle Phase and kill it with this monster. Logicangel Anarchael3100 ATK, if sent to GY, target and destruction. Great body for an easy summonable level 8. Also, I thought the Archetype was focused on mixing more Logicangels to get higher level Logicangel, since the mechanic works only with sums and once you get to level 12, you can't come back, so you're likely to have less monster after the Summon then before...? Logicangel Comtiel 2700 ATK, if SS, 1 chosen banishment. Wait. The level 9 not only has less ATK then the level 8, but has also one of the worst effect. Your opponent get to choose what card to banish? Ok, this deck will keep spamming Logicangels each turn, but this one feels underpowered. Logicangel EduaimonaelIf sent to the GY, target 3 cards on the field/GY, make them unusable. Same problem as before. I won't sacrifice Logicangels to make this... wall, which also has an effect only when sent to the GY. Were you planning on Summoning this, then trying to reach an higher level? Btw, the effect is strong. I think I would mostly target 3 Set cards. Logicangel HegelielSS: your opponent discards 2 cards, and banishes 2 from the GY. If sent to the GY, SS a Logicangel from the GY. Good recovery. Maybe low ATK for a level 11, but everyone knows the level 11 is the most unused. Finally a high level Logicangel which has an effect when Summoned.Logicangel SophaelIf SS, Trishula + from the deck. If sent to the GY, search a Trap. Why can't it be Summoned by a Spell? I mean, you're just blocking Soul Charge, I guess. The Trishula effect is great, I like it, and it has a strong body. It even searches a Trap! Only problem with this is the mechanic of Logicangels. Once you get to Sophael, you can't Summon any more Logicangels (so the long clause is useless in this card). Why not making that it can tribute itself to Summon Logicangels with different names from the GY which total level equals 12? So you can keep on doing stuff even if you reach level 12. Dogmatic School of Logicangel LoreProtection from destruction. If you've filled the field: can be activated from the hand. Banish from GY: SS a low level Logicangel from GY. I don't know if you'll ever reach level 15. I mean, using Logicangels the sum of levels will always be the same. Maybe if you abuse the SS effects of the lower level monsters. Ok, maybe you'll eventually make it. Protection and recovery are always appreciated. Natural School of Logicangel LoreTrap Hole, then SS a low ATK Logicangel from deck. Banish from GY: search a low level Logicangel. So that's why Eduaimonael (level 10) doesn't have high ATK. In the worst case, you can Summon the level 4. Notice this card can't destroyed monsters Summoned at the same time (like Pendulums). The search effect is slow, but nice, since the low level monsters are Special Summoned in many ways.Analytic School of Logicangel LoreProtection from targeting. If you've filled the field: Set it from the GY. Banish from GY: battle protection. So you'll basically keep on protecting your monsters from effects, until your opponent Summons a high ATK monster (or Utopia the Lightning) and you're able to save them for one turn. Yeah, I like it. As I've already said, I don't know if having multiple high level Logicangel is possible. I'd like to see the Archetype in a duel. So, if someone wants to play this, he'll need to think of strategies before dueling. I like that in an Archetype. The Summoning mechanic is amazing and feels fresh, somehow. Although I've never really liked Fairies, I like this Archetype.
Draconus297
Okay, you made one minor blunder in logic when making your review, that I'd like to correct with an example: You're going second, with Dystopiel (1), Fallacael (2), Paradael (4), Rochiel (5), Egoiel (7), and Hegeliel (11) in hand.1. NS Dystopiel, SS Fallacael. (combined Levels: 3).2. Dystopiel eff, dump Comtiel (9). (combined Levels: 11).3. Send Dystopiel and Fallacael, SS Hegeliel from your hand. Pop an opponent's Set card, Delinquent Duo your opponent and take 2 of your opponent's Graveyard cards. (11)4. Send Hegeliel, SS Paradael and Egoiel. If you want, banish Hegeliel at this point to revive somebody. Target any monster your opponent controls, and if that thing dies, you get a free Logicangel. (11+)5. Rochiel is alone in your hand, SS her. Draw a card. (16+)6. Send Rochiel and Paradael, revive Comtiel. Search Entropiel (3), and your opponent must banish a thing they control, and because they're doing it it removes Towers bosses. (16+)7. Free Entropiel, scratch your opponent's entire board for 800 apiece. (19+) Congratulations, now your opponent is facing down 6600 damage at minimum, and you drew a card. If the drawn card was Sophael, you can slam him on board to replace Comtiel and Entropiel, upping your damage output by 500 points and killing off any last semblance of a threat your opponent posed. Tl;dr you don't just add them up, but you can split them apart and re-combine at will.
Nekomata
See, that's what I meant when I said "I'd like to see that in a duel". You're saying they have potential to be op with the right hand, and the 15+ clause is reachable. Also they're all Fairies, that means they could run Valhalla (maybe).Definitely a solid Archetype.
