VCR_CAT
Character Name: Arleigh SchmidtAge: 15Sex: Female
https://i.imgur.com/DzdopQN.jpgHeight: 5'11"Weight: 155 lbsAttire: In most situations, Arleigh is wearing a mask of some variety of her mouth; hiding a star-shaped bullet scar on her right cheek. In more combative situations, her chosen attire is a large duster-style poncho over a sleeveless T-shirt and daisy-duke shorts. Arleigh also neglects to wear footwear in combat situations; and has very heavily calloused (and dirty) feet. Of course, if Arleigh was to wear sleeves or anything on her legs, there's the distinct chance that the clothing on the legs or arms would be ripped or damaged thanks to her power. In most other situations, Arleigh wears rather loose-fitting clothing, a style that doesn't quite suit her tall and lanky body-type.
In your average social situation, Arleigh would seem either incredibly unassuming or even somewhat anti-social. Even when making jokes or poking fun at someone, Arleigh's default demeanor is incredibly dry and bored, to almost and unnatural point considering the situations that she's able to maintain her composure. Digging a little deeper, Arleigh is an intelligent individual with a biting wit, though the latter quality can be harder to recognize due to her dry personality. This isn't to say that Arleigh is bad with people or interacting with them, but that instead there's a strong air of apathy about her person that can be difficult to get past. Whether she actually cares about the people in question is something that requires a deeper knowing of Arleigh to understand. Of course, this is in the average social situation. In the heat of combat, Arleigh becomes an entirely different person; bombastic, loud, and very animated. While "doing what she does best", Arleigh's personality flips a switch and becomes a ravenous monster seeking to only destroy as much as she can. Of course, there have been times that this side of her personality has been known to leak into other situations...
Arleigh was once a normal girl with no extra powers or anything special about her. Growing up in rural Germany, Arleigh had the dream of traveling abroad and becoming a teacher; putting in the effort to learn different languages in the process. Of course, none of those plans came to fruition. What through a wrench in Arleigh's plans was her grandfather. It was one summer that Arleigh's parents needed to leave on separate "business trips" as they told her and that she was sent to stay with her grandfather in his castle of a mansion. Arleigh's grandfather was a very rich, very old, and very shrewd man with a colourful history. Arleigh never understood, of course, what her grandfather did to become so rich or why her mother had never offered for their family to stay with him and reap the benefits of his wealth. Over the course of her stay, Arleigh's curiosity got the better of her and lead her to explore her grandfather's home, in particular his basement. Arleigh's grandfather wasn't who she thought he was, and it was that evening that she discovered his nature as a lich, and had the curse placed on her. The next few weeks became a blur that Arleigh has trouble remembering. According to many news sources, there was a string of murders across the country side with rather unusual traits to them; no weapon could be found, and while bullet wounds were found scattered across the victims' bodies, no bullets were found. Arleigh never actively sought out Lowhaven, nor does she remember how she got there. Lowhaven sought out Arleigh, and there gave her a home and the opportunity to attend school, to hone her abilities and learn the nature of her curse. It goes without saying that Arleigh was never the same since the day that the curse was placed on her. It took time to come to terms with the acts that she had committed, that she has the constant urge to commit, but whether it was the curse or the cruel nature of time itself that Arleigh changed over time. She wasn't the kind, normal girl she once was, but she was only just beginning to learn about the nature of these changes. Villain InformationAlias: Kaliber
Gun Morphing - Arleigh is able to transform any of her limbs, or any combination of limbs, or even her entire body, into any gun that Arleigh has an acute functional understanding of. These guns, of course, don't fire bullets but rather glowing red energy pellets. While these pellets don't carry the deadly force that a normal bullet will, they can still cause damage that shouldn't be neglected. The power of the bullets is relative to the sort of gun that she chooses to manifest on her body combined with how fast the weapon fires. As well, the transformation is held only as long as the size of the given gun's magazine; exhausting its "ammo" forces Arleigh to swap transformations. Larger and stronger transformations, of course, take more time and effort to manifest than smaller transformations. There are, of course, limits to this power. The first limit is that the kind of gun that she transforms her limb(s) into is limited to how much of her body she is transforming. From Arleigh's understanding of her own ability, single-hand weapons such as pistols or uzis only require her whole hand; assault weapons such as rifles or shotguns require her arms from the elbow down; heavier, stronger, or bigger weapons such as a sniper rifle or rocket launcher require the entirety of her arm. Meanwhile, very heavy weapons such as a minigun would require the entirety of her leg to manifest (Arleigh works on her fitness and flexibility in order to feasibly use these transformations), while cannons of varying strength would require both legs if not more of her body. An obvious drawback to using her legs as weapons is her own ability to stand or remain balanced while firing the weapon. Additional attachments, such as scopes, laser sights, or other extra features are not provided in the transformations. Arleigh provides, of course, a small selection to choose from for her weapons. Durandamon
“A healthy body like yours...Master would be delighted to experiment on it~”Personal InfoName: Eva ThanamorsAge: 16Sex: Female
Eva stands at 5'2 and weights 100 pounds.
Eva has soldiered on through a lot more hardships than your average Joe, and has come out emotionally damaged on the other side. She lived her last years in constant, unyielding pain, to the point of almost losing her sanity. As a coping mechanism, or an 'acquired taste', as she puts it, Eva has developed a penchant for pain: both suffering it, and inflicting it. Almost as if a sadistic switch was flipped whenever she got hurt.Despite this, Eva is a pretty normal student in her day-to-day life. She's sarcastic and snarky, dropping a clever comment whenever she can, a sh*t-eating grin permanently plastered on her face. Eva is usually the first to engage in conversation. If one were to earn her friendship, the fastest way would be through her stomach: Eva loves to eat, her favorite being candy, chocolate and anything sweet When with friends she can trust (aka, friends that feed her), Eva is a little less hostile, yet will still resort to snide from time to time. When the going gets rough, Eva can be extremely stubborn and one-track-minded. She'll get things done, one way or the other, and rarely loses hope. Her main flaw is not being too bright at all, having a hard time grasping simple concepts and thinking outside the box (she still does her best). One may speculate this is a side effect of undeath, but the fact is she was already a dumb normal teenager when alive, flunking most classes at her middle school.
“I'll do anything to survive! Just watch me!”Eva's childhood was pretty normal. She lived in the suburbs, had loving parents and a younger sister under her wing. They'd together have lots of adventures, which in turn meant they'd have more bruises and scratches than your average kid. After a branch came loose as she climbed a tree, Eva broke a few ribs and had to be taken to ER. As luck would have it, her CAT scans showed something far more threatening: a lump of considerable size in Eva's heart.Eva was taken in for treatment immediately, at the age of 14. She spent most of her time in a hospital, getting struck with needles and pumped full of pills that made her feel worse than the actual tumor. The doctors did everything they could, but the cancer metastasized to her entire body few months after it was found. Eva didn't understand a word the doctors spewed at her, but she did understand one thing: they had failed, and she would die. Instead of coming to terms with her death, Eva ran away from home as soon as they released her from the hospital. If medicine couldn't save her, Eva would try anything else. She wanted to be a good big sister and role model, and for that she needed to be alive. Herbal medicine, acupunture, nothing would ease the pain she felt. Eva collapsed at the doors of a temple, where she had made an appointment with a shady 'healer'. When she woke up, the pain in her chest was gone. Next to her, the monk smiled a pained smile, “I've given you at least another year of life. Make your ammends and die peacefully, young one.”Eva was pained. She didn't want to make ammends. She didn't want another year. She wanted a regular life, like any other kid's. The healer sighed, pointing out he couldn't heal her constantly to extend her life, but he offered a different solution: Eva was taught a regeneration spell over the course of the following weeks. If she had what it took, she could stop the tumor from spreading any further once the healer's spell was over. For the following months, Eva lived a regular life again, and even enrolled back into middle school. The doctors were surprized to see the metastasis had stopped completely, and had even started to degenerate over time. Eva couldn't be happier, and had even begun to forget about the whole ordeal until exactly a year after her encounter with the 'healer', when she felt a sharp pain in her chest while laying in bed. Eva panicked and applied the knowledge she had been instructed, casting Healing Touch on herself. She sighed in relief as the pain subsided...for about 20 minutes. This continued for hours on end, Eva not even managing to sleep as the pain'd wake her up for another dose of the spell. Two weeks later, Eva was at her wit's end. The pain had stopped bothering her a while back, and she had even started longing for it. The problem was her sleep deprivation, which had started to cause her to hallucinate. As a last resort, Eva visited the healer again, begging on her knees for a definitive cure. She pleaded, cried and humilliated herself until the man accepted, on the condition that she became his loyal servant. Eva climbed on a table and was blindfolded. The last thing she remembers from that day is the feeling of a cold metal object, like a dagger, piercing her chest.Eva woke up the following morning completely pain-free.She placed her hand on her chest and, other than the relief of not feeling any more pain, she noticed two things: a deep, gaping hole in her chest and the lack of a heartbeat. The healer revealed himself as a necromancer, and explained that Eva was undead, immune to all diseases and ailments, and would far outlive most humans. It took some time for Eva to accept the bittersweet news. She couldn't see her family again, at least not face-to-face, but was alive. Her new life was way different than her normal, boring middle school life. She'd learn necromancy from her master, dig up bodies for him and, much to her newfound delight, make some dead bodies for him as well.Lately, Eva's master took an interest in Lowhaven, specially its schools. A congregation of powerful villains and soon-to-be villains oughta have some powerful secrets at its disposal. He had also heard word that a terrifying Lich was teaching there, and decided to send Eva off, both to hone her skills as his assistant, and to gather intel for him. Eva didn't complain much: pleasing her master and getting to wreak havoc while in the process? She was on board immediately.Villain InfoAlias: Gravedigger

Zombie Physiology: As a zombie, Eva's body works differently than other student's. She does not require to eat and, since her body can't break food down into calories, even if she were to eat (which she indulges in, even more than regular people) she wouldn't gain any weight. Since she can heal and has a high pain threshold, Eva can use over 100% of a human's full strength without fear of pulling a muscle or breaking a bone. If Eva's brain is damaged, she won't be able to regenerate any wounds to it. Constant or severe damage to the head can put an end to her entirely.Putrid Breath: As a zombie, Eva's breath is highly noxious. She can expell a wave of greenish, gaseous breath in an area of about 6 ft. This gas produces irritation to the eyes, and if inhaled may cause coughing fits, nausea and vomiting.
Arise!: Her basic necromantic training allows Eva to will corpses to life, albeit fresh bodies are hard to come by in school. These zombies decay at an alarming rate, only being able to hold themselves together for a couple of minutes at best, and only answer to simple commands.Rest in Pieces!: Eva commands her risen corpses to explode, bursting out in flesh and blood. While it can't do any real damage, it's a good diversion tactic.Poltergeists: Eva has control of two wandering souls that float next to her. She can order them to possess a nearby inanimate object of medium size (up to the size and weight of a big piece of furniture). The poltergeists can make the objects float freely, but cannot operate complex mechanisms (they can still pull triggers or levers, for example).
Healing Touch: The only holy magic Eva is capable of doing, as of yet, this spell allows her to increase the target's body's natural regeneration, speeding up the healing process of their wounds. This spell works better the more in shape the target is. Eva's body is more used to the spell, which makes it more effective on herself, even going as far as being able to reattach her regularly torn limbs. This spell requires several seconds seconds of focusing to cast, which means it can't be used in the heat of battle.
1st Period: Psychology2nd Period: Magic3rd Period: Free4th Period: PE5th Period: History6th Period: Chemistry7th Period: Biology8th Period: Power ManagementAfter School: Exploration Club
The Frost King
I'm interested in this
“You’re delicate like a rose, but I’m painfully like its thorns.”Name: Thorn HeartsworthAge: 16Gender: Male
Height: 6' 1"Weight: 185 lbs
Thorn is a care-free, friendly kind of guy that’s a bit of a slacker. Because of this, he usually zones out or falls asleep in the middle of class. Despite this, he is somehow able to get decent grades. That’s because he’s actually a pretty smart guy and could get straight A’s if he really tried. He is almost always thinking about how he can have fun, even if said fun involves doing something that will make the teacher mad. He’ll even play pranks by putting a smoke or water rose in someone’s locker, then having it explode when the person opens the door, either drenching them in water or covering them in smoke. He usually tries to make friends when he can. All and all, Thorn seems more like a kid than a villain in training. But don’t let his friendly personality fool you. He’s more than ready to fight, as long as he thinks he’ll have fun doing so. As long as you’re not trying to pick a fight, he won’t fight you. Since Thorn grew up in a city of villains, he doesn’t have a sense of right or wrong. He doesn’t find it wrong to steal something or beat somebody up. He just sees it as something to do and that’s it.
Mary Hill was a well-known botanist that turned villain and gave herself the power to control plants after using a special serum she made. After several years of villain work under the alias, Mother Nature, she moved to Lowhaven where she meet the love of her life and future husband, Jame’s Heartsworth. James, who went by the villain alias of Elemental Chaos, had been born with the power to control multiple elements. After being married for almost a year, they had their first child, which they named Thorn. Ever since the beginning, Thorn had as been a care-free kind of child. After all, what did he have to fear? Nobody tried to harm him when he was a child, as they were afraid of the backlash they would receive from his parents. When Thorn’s power finally emerged at the age of 7, both of his parents were really happy. Well, his father was less happy, as he had hoped that Thorn would have gotten his own powers instead of Mary’s, but whatever. Soon, they helped him train and even did mock battles to help his power grown. By the age of 8, his little sister, Rose, was born. While his parents did give more attention to his sister, he wasn’t jealous. After all, he knew she was younger than him and needed all the attention she could get. It was around this time that Thorn saw heroes for the first time on TV, and he hated them. He didn’t like how they stopped people from doing funs things, like robbing banks. People should be able to do whatever they desire! Right then, Thorn made up a life plan. He would train, become a big-time villain, and take down all the heroes, all while having fun. So he didn’t stress himself with school work, or training, or anything really at all. And it all really worked out for him, except for the fact that teachers were complaining that he was goofing off in class. Now we find ourselves with the care-free, fun loving guy known as Thorn as he goes to Center Lowhaven High.Alias:
Thorny vines:Thorn’s power is, coincidently, the ability to create and control thorny vines. All these vines are 6 feet long, unless they’re in soil, cause then they become 10 feet long. The thorns from these vines are sharp enough to pierce skin and bring blood. The vines can grow out of the ground, wall, or anything that isn’t a living, breathing thing within a 20 foot radius of Thorn, and he can control those vines as long as they are within a 40 foot radius of himself. At the moment, Thorn can only create up to 30 vines. If he wants to make more, he’ll have to kill off other vines. He can control the vines like tentacles and use them to smack or wrap around something. But depending on the number of vines he’s controlling depends on how much of his energy is drained. For example, if he’s controlling 10 vines simultaneously, then it will take about 10 minutes before he becomes completely exhausted. To prevent this, he won’t control vines that he doesn’t need at the moment. When Thorn isn’t controlling a vine, it goes limp and just lays there. He can also only control the vines that he creates. Elemental Roses: An assortment of beautiful roses that Thorn can make. The main purpose for these flowers is to explode and unleash their elemental power onto whoever is in the blast radius. The roses can either explode when they touch something that isn’t Thorn or his vines, or they can explode on command. The roses can also grow on his vines, making an opportunity for a nasty surprise attack. The rose’s element depends on its color. All elemental roses share the same blast radius of 5 feet. As of now, Thorn is only capable of making 20 roses a day.
Fire Rose: An orange rose, capable of exploding into a ball of flames and burning anything in its blast radius. The flames from the Fire Rose cause the same damage as normal flames, but will extinguish after a few seconds. If used together with a Wind Rose, the flames become fiercer and burn for longer. If used with an Ice Rose, it creates a great explosion and increases its blast radius to 8 feet. If used with a Water Rose, the water from the Water Rose becomes boiling hot. Water Rose: A blue rose capable of exploding into a rushing wave of water. The max water that can be in a Water Rose is 2 gallons, which is to enough soak somebody, but is otherwise useless on its own. Because of this, Thorn will usually use this rose for either a prank or to distract his opponent. If used with an Electric Rose, it can make the shock powerful enough to stun somebody for a few seconds. If used with a Fire Rose, the water becomes boiling hot. Ice Rose: A cyan rose capable of exploding, covering anything in its blast radius with ice. The ice from the rose is the exact same as normal ice. Thorn mainly uses this to either slow down his opponent or to freeze the floor between him and his adversary. If used with a Fire Rose, it creates a great explosion and increases its blast radius to 8 feet. Electric Rose: A yellow rose capable of exploding and shocking anybody within its blast radius. The shock is enough to greatly restrict someone’s movements for about 5 seconds. If used with a Water Rose, it can make the shock powerful enough to stun somebody for a few seconds. Wind Rose: A grey rose capable of exploding into a shockwave of wind. The blast is enough to knock anybody in its blast radius a good 5 feet away. If used together with a Fire Rose, the flames from the Fire Rose become fiercer and burn for longer. Smoke Rose: A white rose capable of exploding into a cloud of smoke. Thorn mainly uses this to blind his opponent and/or make a quick escape. Elemental Bouquet: A sort of finishing move for Thorn, it’s pretty simple to do. Basically, he makes a small bouquet of flowers with one of each kind of elemental rose in it (except smoke rose). After he does this, he tosses it to his opponent. When the bouquet touches something or is activated by command, it explodes in a 10 foot radius, unleashing a devastating elemental attack. Thorn only makes it powerful enough to cause an injury and/or knock somebody out. After all, he wouldn’t want to get kicked out of lowhaven for killing someone. Since the bouquet uses elemental roses, it counts towards the 20 roses he can make a day. King K. Azo
And now we're a full OOC! The app has been updated, but to those who have finished theirs, don't worry about redoing yours. My students will go in this post when I finish them.
Name: Inu GamaroshiAge: 16Sex: Male
Height: 6'6Weight: 238 lbs
Inu is probably the least likely to become a villain of the entire class. That's not to say he's heroic, far from it. He has a hair trigger temper, which usually explodes into a fiery rage, which got him kicked out of every school he ever went to. He's trying to keep it in check, but he has a hard time with it, especially when people discover he's a hellhound. If people start treating him like a dog, or even worse, a pet, his rage erupts into one worthy of Hell. Despite his temper, he is a hard worker, working to both become more powerful and to pass in the top ten of the class. He needs good grades for the profession he wants to get in, and he will do his best to get those grades. This usually makes it so he keeps to himself, but he is not against interaction. He will talk if someone talks to him. He also holds grudges for long amounts of times, waiting for the right moment to spring his revenge.
Inu was born and raised in the fiery pits of Hell, where he and his family guarded the souls of the damned from being stolen away. The only time they ever failed is when Jesus came to hell, because it was Jesus. However, one member of the family brought shame to their name. Inu's father abandoned his post of living in a literal hellscape full of demons and the souls of the damned to become a pet for the dark elves, trading his life of honor for being fed delicious food at all time and living in a beautiful palace where he could frolic and have a peaceful life. How dare he?! Ever since then, Inu has vowed to track down his dad and beat up him. With their family name shamed, Inu and his mother was cast out of Hell to live among the humans. To say Inu had a hard time fitting in would be an understatement. He was kicked out of every school he went to because he kept getting into fights. After going to five different schools, they found the only school that would accept him, Center Lowhaven High. He is determined to stay into this school and get a good job to support his mother, and become a lawyer. Villain InformationAlias: Mr. Gamaroshi
Because he is a hellhound from Hell, he has the power to use fire, either by igniting his limbs or breathing it. He's also much physically powerful and durable than a human. He's also unaffected by extreme heat, able to swim in lava. However, he has to keep his body temperature in check, as if it gets too low, he risks dying, especially in the mortal plane. The more fire he uses, the faster his temperature drops. He also has the ablility to turn back into his fearsome Hell Hound form, and a form that is a mix of both. He gets more powerful in these forms, however, he also has a harder time keeping his temperature under control the more feral his form becomes. As a Hellhound, he has enhanced senses, mostly his hearing and smell. He might be color blinded, but he's not going to admit if this is the case. He has a unique fighting style, mixing boxing with his fire powers to make a deadly force of technique and power.

1st Period: Psychology2nd Period: Magic3rd Period: Linguistics4th Period: Theatrics5th Period: Software6th Period: Chemistry7th Period: Biology8th Period: Power Management
He smokes in between classes. Yui
I've gone and written short reviews for the apps we have so far. Sai will have his at some point too. I'll be briefly sharing my thoughts on personalities, bios, powers, any additional notes, and wrapping up my quick reviews with a score rated out of ten. Enjoy. App completed.
"If you are just doing this 'villainy' thing because you think it will be an easy way to get rich, you'd be better off getting a funking job."Name: Patton GrisailleVillain Alias: RiptideAge: 16Sex: Male, and I swear to funk if you call me effeminate you are getting a marble in the skull.

For his entire life, Patton has wanted to do 1 thing: move. The world is an ever-changing entity, and to stay still is to ignore the very laws of nature. The way he sees it, the advent of powers, heroes, and villains is just the natural progression of this process. Even so, some people who are lucky to have power squander it for various reasons: greed, fame, false concepts such as evil and justice. He sees through all that bullshit. His motivation for his rise to villainy is simple: he is a prophet of that change. If the heroes win, and 'evil' is stamped out completely, then that is the end of progress. The world will fall into complacency, and humanity will forget what it is to grow. And so, he strives to be the strongest being in the world. Not a hero, not really even a villain. His goal is to be a nemesis of the world, so that he can force an arms race of similarly-powerful individuals. It isn't a goal born of morality, nor of desire. His purpose in life exists solely as a result of frenzy. The way this translates into his personal life, is that everything he does shares the purpose of making himself more powerful. When deciding upon classes, he chose those that would give him the greatest overall boost in strength, as quickly as possible. He is quick to challenge others, not because he is inherently competitive, or even because he wants to win, but because he knows that pushing his own capabilities is the most effective way to increase them. If he sees someone who is strong, his immediate compulsion is to be stronger than them. This often causes him to butt heads with similarly-headstrong individuals, and he isn't above using violence or brute force to accomplish his goals. In conversation and personal interactions, he is bold to a point, as he sees no point in subterfuge when the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.
When he was a small child, Patton didn't actually live in Lowhaven. He lived in the regular world, in a regular city. He used to watch the TV to see whatever the heroes were doing, what big monsters they managed to save the public from, all that jazz. Honestly, it blew his mind. He had these dreams that he would use his power (though at this point it was quite weak) to become the greatest hero the world has ever seen, so that whenever a powerful villain arose, he could stamp it out, and save the day like he saw in the news. He trained on his own from that point forward, advancing his Slipstream ability so that he could use it to throw small objects (albeit not much faster than he could just throwing normally).ALL THAT CHANGED when the fire nation attacked when his father got promoted to work in upper management in his company. As it turns out, Patton's father worked with some very unsavory people, and this promotion led them to move to a certain underground city known as Lowhaven. Put simply, Patton was terrified. Though he didn't previously even know the city existed, he was quickly informed that it acted as a home for all things evil and villainous. Considering what he saw on the news of villains, what is down her must be horrific. Upon moving in, however, Patton was nothing but disappointed. Everyone here, despite calling themselves villainous, was just so... normal. They were afraid to go to the surface, afraid of the battle that Patton so yearned for. It was then that he decided that he no longer wanted to be a hero. There were plenty of those already. No, he was going to be a villain. A villain like no other.
Power Name: SlipstreamPatton's body is surrounded by an invisible bubble, that extends 8 centimeters outward from him. Within this field, he can propel solid objects (he cannot move liquids or gasses) in any direction that is parallel to the surface of his skin. The longer an object travels, the more speed it gains, so he can accelerate a projectile along various paths around his body before firing it down the length of his arm. With enough focus, he can push supersonic speeds with objects small enough, including his choice weapon of marbles, which he carries several of in his pockets.Notably, this ability does not ignore Newton's third law of motion, unlike most other forms of telekinesis. This is to say, that any force he exerts on an object through use of his power, is reflected back on his body in the opposite direction. What this translates into is that, when he fires projectiles down his arm, his arms suffers from recoil, similar to that of a firearm (greater, actually, since many modern firearms absorb much of the energy in blowback mechanisms).Slipstream also has the special attribute of multiple levels of use. By 'shifting gears' Patton is capable of increasing his power output greatly. The higher the gear, the more force he can output, and the more complex of maneuvers he can perform. That said, the amount of physical energy required to use his power ramps up with each gear as well, turning him into more and more of a glass cannon as he shifts upward. Additionally, he cannot skip gears while shifting upward, and needs to be exerting the maximum possible force for his current gear before shifting upward. The below information will be continuously updated as Patton reveals the various applications of his power.
Maximum Force Output: 40 NewtonsTechniques:-Slingshot: By moving objects along the surface of his body, he can accelerate them to high speeds, before launching them as projectiles. The less mass a projectile has, the higher the speed he can fire it at, but heavier objects obviously have greater stopping power.
1st Period: Psychology2nd Period: Mechanics3rd Period: Art4th Period: PE5th Period: I get to be late to school every other day? funk yeah, I'll take this one free for sure.6th Period: Physics7th Period: Biology8th Period: Power ManagementAfter School: Fight Club[spoiler=Misc. He just wants to keep the world changing. Complacency is bad and even just villains existing is a natural part of human evolution. It's an interesting take on the world, and Patton's got the straightforward mindset to chase that goal of his to the bitter end. Bio: Now this I especially like, due to the implications that Lowhaven has workings out on the surface. Which, really, isn't all that surprising. I like how rather than trying to go hero mode on everyone, he decided "Y'know, funk that, let's be a villain instead" and now here we have him. He's an interesting dude. Power: This is interesting. Very interesting. You left me in suspense about Patton's power for a good while there and the wait paid off. Other Notes: I like his quote. Usual attire is just about as revealing as the above picture, with the only sort of additional ‘coverage’ being the jacket.
Money. Money, money, money. All about money. The only thing that could come even close to the size of Rain’s greed is his cunning. He constantly scrutinizes his options and others for the optimal ways to earn money, earn more of it, and earn it faster. He’s not above tricking the less intelligent, but is coldly smart enough to realize tricking the smart would be only a net loss of profit. He’ll do just about anything for money, if you can meet his price. Friends aren't so much of a concept he cares for, rather, business partners are his everything. If someone approaches him, his first reaction is to ask what service or request they desire of him, and list his fees for the most common requests. Those who cannot or will not offer money are nonexistent in his world, and those who would harm his income are the unforgivable stains of the world. Why does he desire money so? It is simply power and the influence he can exert over others which is so addictingly delicious. To essentially exploit the money reset system, he pours all his excess into expensive alcohol and cigars the day before. All of the brands of drinks and smokes are among the rarest and priciest in the entire world, and the savory feeling from that is an unbeatable pleasure that Rain can’t help but lust for. From all this, one might suspect he would be a gambling addict. However, he sees no merit in a risky money sink, and instead optimizes the steady income he does have from his jobs. Despite the word “mercenary” typically being considered shameful, Rain is the complete opposite and takes pride in his work. His plans at Lowhaven High is nothing more than search for new business opportunities and exploit those who are less money-wary. Learn more tools to better optimize his line of work with, for money is king, and anything that can bejewel the king with more riches is divine.”Money cannot be sin, nor can anything with money be sin. Everything is for money, and money is for everything.”
Born into one of the influential international villainy syndicate families as the youngest, Rain’s childhood was… different, to say the least. He was taught to fight, shoot, deceive, blackmail, and more, in addition to training the power over portals he had been born with. However, the boy had shown a pathetic lack of aptitude for the physical side of crime, much to the disappointment of his expectant parents and other families. At eight years old, he was ordered to kill his first person - captured from a rival syndicate. This was their last hopes of getting him to harden up a bit more, for he was too soft in the eyes of many. He was to shoot the restrained man in the head. After much hesitation and eventually a threat that he would be kicked out if he didn't comply, he fired the gun, looking away as it did its deadly deed. Shortly after, he vomited, and those gathered left in their own disgust at this completely un-villain-like child.Considered a failure and a reject, he was near outcast socially by a large portion of the syndicate for almost the next two whole years. Rain funneled the free time into learning the technical and behind-the-scenes of crime and exploring just what his power could do. What he could not match in physical prowess or apathy, he more than made up for in the other departments. Between information collection, bribery, blackmail, trickery, and smuggling services via his power, he slowly drew the interest of others in the crime and villains world once more.Rain knew himself fully well that he had hardly any potential to commit crime alone. However, he was sharp enough to recognize his skills could complement the goals of many existing criminals. With that, he began life of a mercenary at ten. Despite being ridiculously young, those who laughed at first were left behind by those who recognized the potential. Over the next five years, he built up his nickname of “The Merchant”, offering any sort of service - for a few pretty metaphorical coins. After all, money is what makes the world go around. Through this route, he could manage to avoid the direct violence and killing while still earning sizable amounts of money. Along the way, he picked up a taste for both extremely expensive brands of alcohol and cigars, gaining an addiction almost as large as his greed. Nothing washed away the annoyances like a good cold glass of whisky and a deep breath of rich, aromatic smoke. Bonus points if they were incredibly expensive or rare brands.Towards the start of the sixth year, he made his way into Lowhaven, hearing about its reputation and name frequently. The first and most dislikable thing about the town was the usage of Credits. For someone whose greed was unmatchable, giving up the existence of tangible money in return for digital, invisible currency, left a bitter taste in his mouth. However, he could not deny the quite large and respectable number of villains within that world, and figured he could perhaps start a new business venture here.Upon discovering the existence of the school, Rain had initially scoffed at it. A school for villains? What a load of hogwash. Why the hell would a villain need a school? However, after investigating further and discovering more on what the school actually taught as well as their legendary staff, Rain relented somewhat. Perhaps by joining, he could gain even more knowledge for better business ventures in the future. Couldn't hurt, and it's not like it would stop his side business either. And with that, Rain had made his decision to enroll in Lowhaven High.Combat Information
MacrocosmosRain Mirren has the power to understand and manipulate a higher-level dimension that most other beings are completely unable to even perceive. Similar to how a theoretical two-dimensional being would be unable to comprehend the existence of the third dimension, most beings are unable to even begin to fathom the nature of this higher-level dimension. While it is primarily used for storage, it can also be used in active combat, both attacking and defending. Currently, only ten items can be stored. All items that enter the portal once it opens and before it closes are grouped under ‘one’ item. So for example, if ten baseballs were thrown and one single portal ate them all, they would only count as one. But if they were thrown one into each portal (so ten portals), then they’d count as all ten.A portal can be opened near instantaneously anywhere in Rain’s range of touch. Larger portals take longer, but a portal around the size of a large dinner plate can be formed in 0.1 seconds. Portals can be closed instantly at his will as well. However, a neat trick he can do is select an object for a portal to devour. By doing so, the portal will follow the object until it stops moving and then devour it instead of just staying within his touch range. Once it catches up, the portal itself will fold over the entirety of the object and swallow it up. To dump objects held within the alternate dimension, he simply opens a portal the same way and ejects them from the storage. He can either gently let them out or propel them up to around 45 meters a second (approx. 147 feet a second) at maximum.Creating a portal takes no noticeable energy whatsoever, however, keeping the portal open for longer than a few seconds will begin to continuously drain at Rain’s stamina. The portals themselves have no suction power whatsoever and will simply remain until Rain manually closes them.An important thing to note is that living objects cannot enter the portal. For instance, if someone swung a sword and a portal intercepted its trajectory, the sword would enter until the hand reached the opening of the portal, but then stop. The person would simply feel as if their hand met against the edge of an immovable barrier.Lastly, an incredibly important thing to note is that when the portal is closed, anything that gets caught within the mouth will be cut through, regardless of its composition or other properties. This is due to the fact that the portal is ripping through space itself and thus is the ultimate conceptual cutting blade. His power is highly desired for his unparalleled mobility in transport of - often illegal - goods. Not past making some easy money with his power, he can often be found through asking for “The Merchant.” Because snide remarks about his height can lead to a fierce price markup, those who wish to employ his powers quickly learn to hold their tongue.
1. I'm almost reminded of shonen villains with how simple his mindset is. This is a compliment in this context, but not a particularly huge one. Bio: Children murdering folks, underage smoking and drinking, and enough greed to drink Konami under the table. Sign me the funk up. I specifically liked the part where you mentioned Rain doesn't like the credits system. Power: This power is interesting, since while its primary usage is definitely a bag of infinite hammerspace because Rain's a greedy bastard, it can also be used for ranged combat if he stores sharp objects such as throwing knives. Open small portal, shoot out a throwing knife, close it. Since he apparently doesn't get tired from opening these, he can kick back and shoot throwing knives infinitely, using the select item power to retrieve any that miss their mark. May potentially need nerfs to slow his ranged combat prowess with that in mind. Other Notes: I'm not comfortable with the potential vague implications that Rain is only sixteen and already not a virgin. Also curious how he got his cigars and alcohol prior to reaching Lowhaven if at all, but it doesn't matter that much. The glasses, however, aren't normally worn on a daily basis or 24/7. Rather than that, they are merely to help him read and nothing more.
Victor may seem like the type of guy to be quite the intellectual, the type to think that they're higher than their peers and feel themselves as superior than them. This...sadly isn't the case, as much as he wishes this to be. While he is an intellectual, he can't bring himself to act in the manner that would degrade his fellow villains. Rather he actually does what he can to help them with things they don't specifically understand. He feels its his duty as a fellow uprising villain to help his peers in order for them to be the best they truly can. Could this be a trait he inherited from his hero mother? It's a strong possibility, but he doesn't care. Although usually calm and collected, due to his powers as a technopath, Victor tends to be protective (almost over-protective) over the different technology he uses. This is only because there are some he actually enjoys having conversations with, specifically his phone's A.I., a female he's given the nickname "Serenity". Regardless, he takes the care of each piece of technology he uses in his daily life with extreme care and often chastises others for their own things pretty much neglecting them.
"People praise and worship heroes on a daily basis...blissfully unaware of the pain that these so-called heroes inflict on those they care for." Victor McCoy was born to a small family in the U.S. and unbeknownst to him, his mother was actually a superhero. She was known as "Blonde Bomber", a woman who had the ability of explosive punches. Victor didn't do a lot of research to know about the specific information, but it didn't matter. Either way, he lived life with his father while his mother was always "working late"...obviously working as a superhero. Still, it was a life that Victor didn't mind at all. He enjoyed life with his family, even though he never saw much of his mother, it was a good life for him nevertheless. Soon, however, when he turned eight, Victor learned the truth about his mother being a superhero. And from that, he also learned that he too had powers and was a meta-human. Though, unlike his mother, he found out that he was a technopath and always played with his own powers to learn how to get the hang of them. Knowing now that his mother was a hero and that he had powers, he had one thing on his mind: "I'm going to be a hero, just like my mom!" Then the incident happened, when he turned thirteen. Victor was staying at a friend's house and found out from his parents that his father was at the wrong place at the wrong time. A group of armed robbers struck out at a bank and his father was in the midst of a hostage situation. The entire time, Victor was hoping and praying for his mother to get there to stop them and save his father. ...But she never came. On that day, Victor lost his father and his faith in heroes. The young boy was devastated that he lost his father, but his attitude would soon become worse when he found out the reason his mother wasn't there: she had an affair. Victor found out in the weeks that followed, that his mother...no...the "Blonde Bomber" had been seeing another hero by the name of "Morningstar", a hero with light based powers. When this came to light, he began to hate and despise her. She couldn't save his father...because she was having an affair with a damn hero. This was the turning point in Victor's life. If THIS was what it was to be a superhero...then he wanted no part of it. He'd be the opposite if anything...a villain perhaps. He surprisingly got the chance when a strange individual approached him. This chance came to him as he was doing a bit of hacking on his laptop, doing his best to try and find out somewhere that villains would gather. There was always talk of a place like this, but he wanted to know in order to join them. Before he could find the portal that would give him what he wanted, a strange individual appeared to him and gave him the ticket to this location...an ID for Lowhaven. Fortunately for him, he is constantly getting little to none punishments for these acts, thanks to the creativity and thought put into these acts. You even mentioned that after seeing fifty or so illusions, the person seeing them may be more likely to see through them, making a good balance mechanic. My main concern there is that it would be troublesome for Alex as a villain in the long run, since a hero who has experience dealing with him would see right through his illusions. But that's years from now anyway; I'm sure he'll get stronger in that time. This usually wouldn't be an issue except that her idea of fun is...less than normal. Her idea of a good time is to cause, and receive, as much pain as possible. She is both a sadist and a masochist in the worst ways as she delights in her pain about as much as other's. Unhinged is a gentle way to explain Mary's mental state. She can be calm, quiet, and polite, one moment. Then change at a drop of the hat to giggling while stabbing someone. She's intelligent, however, and knows far too well that her actions, even in a place such as this, could land her in some serious trouble. She has the capacity to manipulate others and is quite a good actress when she wants to be. Granted she often doesn't really mind letting a bit of craziness slip out. She also knows that she isn't the most physically capable and so she has learned to work with others to reach her goals. Though for her working with others is less about team work more about making it seem like she cares about her team mates so that they don't immediately turn on her.She avoids direct confrontation when she actually wants to win at something and prefers fighting when her opponent doesn't realize they have started fighting in the first place. That being said she's happy to provoke people if it leads to having a "joyous fun time of pain and agony."
Mary's father was a businessman who was well known for doing whatever it takes to close a deal. He was a cold and calculating man and even his marriage was only done in order to get close with the woman's father, an extremely rich man, and when his wife realized what she had gotten into tried to leave. Which resulted in an unfortunate accident.Mary was given quite a lot as she grew up which made her not question some of the actions the man took. She was always a rather unusual girl, though she didn't realize just how much until her teenage years. There was magic in the girl. And madness. While experimenting Mary realized that she was able to manipulate her own blood. She immediately began to study magic and how it worked, secretly practicing her new art.In the meantime she was starting to grow up. Starting to be useful to her father. He would often employ her to help convince rather stubborn potential business partners. She enjoyed the manipulation but she developed a disgust for the piggishness and lack of creativity in the people she was directed towards. She passed the time imagining the many ways she could kill them and eventually her imagination broke into reality. Her father was extremely upset at the loss of a contact and at the money he had to drop to keep her out of trouble. He kept her under lock and key after that. Only letting her out when necessary and making sure she was supervised when doing her job. This caused a frustration to grow in the girl. Knowing killing her father would be a much harder thing to pull off. Without his money and connections it would be impossible to stay out of prison. So she left. For a city she knew would be more accepting of someone with her mindset. Her last name was fairly well known, given her father's influence, but for the people of Lowhaven the important factor was the unusually silent way another influential man vanished after spending a night with her.
Blood Magic (Bloodmancy/Hemomancy): Mary is capable of manipulating blood. As long as it's spilled, and her own, she can bend it to her will. She can move it, harden it, and even expand it to a certain extent. This means she can use it to grab things or to use as a piercing or slashing weapon. When using it as a weapon the tip and/or edge is usually especially hard and sharp. It's overall not hard enough to provide much protection from direct attacks but it can lessen the blow. Though the amount of blood she can manipulate at once is limited and, as of now, she can only use blood of her own that is outside her body. She intends to nurture this power to extend to blood of others and, eventually, blood that is still inside one's body, but as of now she can only use her own. But she's also cunning enough to change up her tactics if she has to, such as relying on people more physically ready for a task than she is, or not going for direct conflict. Overall, very much seems like the kind of crazed murderer you'd find in a comic book. Nice. Bio: That last sentence leaves me with so many questions and I'm not sure I want the answers to them. Other Notes: N/A Overall Score: 8/10
"Hero. Villain. It's all the same, really."Name: Camille Leroux (Birth name: Lorelei Harlow) Alias: Camille Leroux Age: 16 Gender: Female
Height: 5'3"Weight: 119 pounds
Camille is a girl who knows exactly what she wants, and usually, she knows just how to get it. A good word to describe her could be "self-indulgent", with her own wishes coming first and foremost in her list of priorities, no matter what she may have to do to see them fulfilled. However, as much as she's willing to sacrifice others for her own gain, Camille isn't a particularly ambitious sort. She'd boast without hesitation that she's very well capable of going on to become god-empress of the world, but she really doesn't want the entire world in her hands, so she has no intent of trying to conquer it. Likewise, she doesn't care about having an insurmountable fortune, or enforcing the idea of "might makes right" - a phrase she very much believes in - or any other particular goal. Camille's only major goal in her unlife is to make it hers. She'll do her thing, her way, and whatever role she wants someone else to play in it, she'll see to it that they end up playing it. She dislikes the use of brute force, however. Camille thinks solving problems through raw power is barbaric and thus below her, and prefers to get her way through charms and wit. She'll fight if she must of course, since in her eyes, it's the strong that deserve to rule, but she's more a fan of mental strength than physical. As such, Camille will ideally not only take what she wants from someone, but make them want to give it to her, by use of a silver tongue and a quick wit. Be they ally, enemy, or otherwise, one should expect Camille to go through any conversation with flattery and charm, even if she only believes half of what she says at most. Besides her weaknesses as a vampire, however, Camille does have one particular pet peeve. People who think they're doing the right thing (or even worse, not doing the "wrong" thing) just because their morals say so. Camille, for one, doesn't believe in such a weak excuse for restraining oneself, and can't stand when people hide behind it like a shield. If Camille were to become a more ambitious sort, she'd likely aim to erase the concept of morality, leaving only the law and one's limitations as the only excuses to not live the same self-indulgent lifestyle Camille strives for. Of course, once she managed that, she'd likely aim to erase law as well, creating a world where the strong live to satisfy themselves at the expense of the weak. Such a world is her ideal one. And one without the sun of course. funk that thing.
For someone who wasn't born a vampire, Camille sure is proud of her new "heritage". Lorelei Harlow was born human, the same as just about anyone, daughter of a villain that used magic to take what was hers, as well as what wasn't. Lorelei's mother was a necromancer, and a pretty powerful one at that. When Lorelei was old enough, her mother started instructing her in necromancy as well. The young girl was a good study, but the style of magic didn't quite click with her. Lorelei would find her true calling as she continued to grow. Along with necromancy, her mother taught her what she could teach about how the woman got by in the world. Caring for others just for the sake of it would do no favors; it was a man-eat-man world, and Ms. Harlow was one who planned on doing the eating. Eventually, she was the one that was eaten, almost literally. Lorelei's mother, having a promising young apprentice in her daughter at her side, grew too confident in her necromancy. She wanted to use her power over the undead to control a vampire, and eventually managed to track one down. Ms. Harlow died that night. Lorelei was turned into a vampire that night. Her memories were altered, and the name Camille Leroux given to her by the vampire that turned her. Camille's life as she knew it disappeared, and overnight became a false tale. A story where she was risen from the grave by a vampire, and gifted with vampirism herself. One where she was taught necromancy by her master over the last fourteen years, as well as the meaning of "might makes right" and how to be a proper vampire. The fledgling vampire was soon brought back to the vampire's true home, as rumors were beginning to get around about just what her new master was. That home was Lowhaven. Living in a city under the ground where the sun couldn't reach her was a decision Camille was completely fine with. It was a place with little to no morals, and loosely-enforced laws. To Camille, who put her own needs above those of others, and believed it was the most powerful and cunning who deserved to be on top, it was as perfect a home as she could ever ask for. Camille got used to life in Lowhaven rather quickly, and soon after arriving in the city, voiced her concerns about learning necromancy to her master. It didn't suit her tastes, and she wanted something that worked out better for someone who relied more on guile and wit. And so, Camille was taught other forms of magic. She dabbled in a bit of this and a bit of that, and eventually got herself enrolled into Center Lowhaven High. With this recent enrollment, and the school having a class specialized toward magic, Camille is fairly certain she'll find just the right type of magic for her.
Vampirism: Camille is a vampire. This comes with mostly benefits, but some considerable weaknesses as well. As a vampire, Camille classifies as undead, meaning that although her biological functions have mostly ceased, thus stopping her aging and removing most mortal needs, she's still walking around like any other person. Vampires in particular are agile and stronger than they look, able to use their sharp fangs in combat to rip through flesh in addition to their heightened senses, but although a vampire can be rather powerful, they have some distinct shortcomings. Most infamously, vampires will burn in sunlight, and must drink the blood of others to sustain themselves. Various other legends regarding the weakness of a vampire, such as garlic, flowing water, and holy objects, seem to be nothing more than old wives tales. Of course, seeing as Lowhaven is underground, even the sun isn't an issue for Camille. Magic: Camille has casually been studying magic since before entering Center Lowhaven High. She initially studied to be a necromancer, and still dabbles in the art from time to time. Lately, she's been looking into different types of magic, with a preference toward illusions, charms, and other forms of magic that revolve more around guile and deception instead of sheer power. Everyone within the sphere can neither see nor hear. Including Anju, of course. The Sphere: The sphere that Anju creates is emitted outwards, with the center of it being her body. More specifically, it is emitted from either eye. She can choose which eye, but it makes no difference which eye is used. The sphere, when created, is only 4 centimeters wide, but will double its size every eighth of a second, reaching its maximum diameter of 10 meters in only 1 second.Within the sphere, absolutely no light or sound can travel, rendering sight and hearing completely impossible. From the outside, the sphere appears completely black, absorbing all light that hits it. It is intangible, however, and can be walked into as easily as it can be walked out of. Additionally, only one sphere can be created at a time, and it lasts anywhere from 5-10 minutes.Absorption Details: The sphere completely blocks out most forms of energy, not just light. Specifically, it blocks out most wavelengths on the spectrum, but high wavelength energy such as gamma radiation can pass through the sphere. Sound within the sphere works in an odd way. The compression waves normally formed in a sound medium are absorbed into the sphere immediately after forming, eliminating all sound within the sphere. The sound waves are transmitted to the outside of the sphere, however, and those who are not within the sphere will hear everything that's going on as if they were listening to a speaker.Additional AbilitiesEnhanced Durability: Anju might be small, but she can take one hell of a beating. Almost like how a 3-year-old can split her head open on the fireplace and still keep playing like nothing happened. Anju can shrug off most injuries, even being thrown into a wall doesn't faze her.Enhanced Speed: Anju's body is small, but that just means there's less of her that she needs to move. If she's properly motivated, she can move nearly three times as fast as anyone else. However, she's only shown this speed when there's candy involved.Near Perfect Memory: Often using her powers to cause mischief, she's gradually developed an impressive memory capacity. Anju doesn't really "fight," per se; she prefers to keep dodging until the opponent gives up. Because she's practically invisible when fighting, evasion is not an issue for her.Weakness: Anju doesn't really take anything seriously. She lets her guard down very easily if she thinks she's won, and tends to underestimate opponents who initially fall for her sphere's gimmicks. Additionally, she can't see or hear while within her sphere, just like anyone else. She relies on her enemy being predictable in their attacks, and she herself is predictable in her dodging habits.Costume: Equipment:
PsychologyMagicLinguisticsFree PeriodHistoryPhysicsTheatricsMechanics
Name Origin: Anju's name contains the kanji for "darkness" (闇) and "quiet" (静)Voice Actor: Marika Kouno (JP) / Monica Rial (EN)Theme Song: Masquerade of the Ghosts
Personality: You need this Bio: And also this Power: I actually did a power similar to the sphere once, albeit with a shorter range and duration, and without sound nullificaiton. Overall Score: 5/10
"The cold of space...I almost miss it"Character Name: Vix'us Py'hrtAlias: Black NovaAge: 15Sex: Male
Height: 7'4"Weight: 200lbs
On his home planet, Vix'us tended to be considered an optimistic individual in the eyes of his people, always willing to learn new things. However, due to his mistreatment on this planet, he has become a harsh and untrusting individual. He tends to be a bit jumpy around new people as well, and tries to defer from talking, as he is not completely confident in his abilities to speak the native language of those on Earth. Vix'us also has no intentions of befriending any human that doesn't see eye to eye with his newfound ideals. Those ideals being that he seeks nothing now but the destruction of humanity as a whole, unbeknownst to those around him of course.
Vix'us was born across the stars, millions of galaxies away from the planet Earth, to a noble race of extraterrestrials known as the Vol'thoo'marans. One his home world, during the age where he was growing up, his planet existed in a perpetual state of peace. Blue Vol'thoo'marans coexisted with their fellow Red's, and they both pursued in the art of knowledge together. They were by no means a race built on violence or war, although past struggles had seemed to deem the contrary. A few years before he was conceived, they had finally mastered the art of hyperspace, able to now travel the stars in an instant. Vix'us grew up, wanting to become a cadet in the planetary expedition force. He was schooled how to fly single person ships, and engage the hyperdrive in his first year of learning. However, on his first assignment to explore a new galaxy, Vix'us found himself inputting the wrong coordinates, and whisking himself off to some unarchived planet in the Milky Way Galaxy. He completely wrecked his shuttle, unable to send a distress beacon. Thankfully, this planet was oxygen fresh, although it tasted a little muddied. Unthankfully, however, he was scooped up almost immediately by the natives of the planet, and taken away to one of their secret facilities. Their, he was treated like some kind of animal. They had no sympathy for a child who just washed up on their planet. Instead, they decided to cut him open, sew him back together, too see what made him tick. Under these atrocious, and vile conditions, something deep inside his Vol'thoo'maran blood boiled, and the next thing he knew, he was set free. His body now drenched in a flame like substance, that cowled his body, somewhat like a cloak. The building that had tortured him until he lost track of time was now up in blue flames. He was tired, but extremely happy that his captors were all burning away. It was then that another being, similar looking to those who had captured him in the first place, gave him a card, and asked Vix'us to follow him. He was taken to Lowhaven, a place where people who were mistreated above ground to reconcile and grow below. Vix'us decided then and there, that this world would be conquered in the name of Py'Hrt...a new colony for the Vol'Thoo'Maran.
Vol Fire - A source of power long since forgotten in the race of the Vol'thoo'maran. It takes the form of a light blue fire, but contains no burning properties, unless wished so by the user. Instead, it takes the form of pure energy, and force. It can be used as shields, and can also be used to lift himself from the chains of gravity. Vol Fire can be released from his eyes, hands, and feet. When exposed to radiation from heavenly bodies, Vol Fire can take on a different natures, depending on the intensity and type of radiation he is exposed to. When exposed to slight Lunar Radiation, his fire takes that of a reflective property. In Yellow Sun Radiation, the force of his fire is multiplied twice. The Vol Fire has also encompassed itself around Vix'us, providing him with an outer shell of dense energy. It can be chipped away at to reveal the flesh underneath, but it's very hard to do so. Slight telepathy - The Vol'thoo'maran have no mouth's or vocal chords, so instead they communicate through the wavelengths of mind. This does not give Vix'us the ability to read minds, rather just to communicate through them. This is probably the personality I'm most interested in seeing fleshed out over the course of the RP. Bio: Fun fact: Mistreating your scientific subjects will yield sub-optimal results due to the stress it causes them, so real-life scientists are very good about treating their subjects well since they care about results first and foremost. This was a concern I voiced in Project: Gemini, but given the different tones in setting between this and that, I don't care as much in the case of Vix'us. It's overall a pretty straightforward story that doesn't leave a lot of big questions short of what his home planet is like, but I'm sure we'll hear about it from the bird himself over time. Power: I'll be honest, it feels like Vix'us is, to put it in gaming terms, a high-damage mage that also can take aggro and the associated damage every bit as well as the party's paladin. Personal InfoName: Randall "King" DukesAge: 14Sex: Male
Height: 5'3"Weight: 109.8 lbs
Randall is diligent, always looking for ways to improve himself. Not only to surpass his peers, although the feeling of towering over plebeians amuses him greatly, but also to reach the potential he knows he can achieve. He rarely gives up, even if the deck is stacked against him, which it usually is since he charges head first into problems. Being given anything he wanted as a child has spoiled Randall. As far as he's concerned, the whole world belongs to him and he is not afraid to let you know. Like a power hungry king, anything that would diminish his honor is met with hostile retorts and even a challenge if triggered enough. He gets very defensive about himself due to his own personal insecurities. He is quick to berate other people, especially anyone that opposes him. Randall is extremely violent - if something can be solved by fighting, he will be the first to suggest it as a solution. The thrill of combat is one of life's greatest pleasures, at least according to Randall. Even if he is a sore loser, he would fine it hard to deny that he at least had fun while fighting. That said, the only thing that tops the thrill of combat is the glory of victory, which he relishes in. Due to his love for combat, he physically trains his body rigorously, and is very cautious about what he eats.
Randall was born into one of the more wealthy families and, due to being an only child, was spoiled to death growing up by his mother. His father was a business man with a rather particular power. To put it simply, his power was a very subtle version of mind control - rather than straight up control someone's mind, he would instead plant a metaphorical seed of an idea into someones mind. Overtime it would "grow", until eventually they adopt the idea as their own. A very powerful ability in the world of business, and something that always made Randall uneasy. It was hard to tell what was his own thoughts around the man - luckily, he was rarely around the house. He spent most of his childhood with his mother, who also had the same uneasiness that Randall had. He had always been sheltered, partially because he was an only child but also because he was what some called a "meta human". Since birth he had always had his ability Primal Force, although it was first thought of as super strength. It took him until grade school to realize, at least as far as he knew, the full potential of his powers. He was told by his mother that he shouldn't use his powers in public, but he didn't see a reason why not. As his father had taught him, the weak should fear the strong. Instead of listening to his mother's advice, he used his abilities all the time in class, overpowering the other students and forcing his will upon them. Of course, such behavior got him expelled from the school and, when he turned to a life of crime, got him a one way ticket to jail. He learned from his father about an undeground city - Lowhaven. Instead of being imprisoned, he would be sent there instead. His father visited Lowhaven in secret often, and was able to use his manipulative abilities to get him a Lowhaven ID, alongside a reasonable amount of credits. Using his newfound citizenship, he manage to get himself enrolled into a highschool so he could better learn how to use his powers to show the puny mortals who was in charge. Villain InfoAllias: REGEM
PRIMAL FORCE Randall can create bursts of force using energy around him in a 3 foot radius and from his own body using his power, Primal Force. At a simple level, this ability lets his attacks pack a punch, as they can be amplified with this ability. He can also launch himself by applying force from his legs into a super jump, or gain a burst of speed at the start of a sprint using the same principle. Doing so isn't completely safe, as despite having a natural resistance to extreme forces thanks to the ability, he is still vulnerable to crashing at high speeds or landing from great heights. While this gives him the illusion of super strength in combat, he cannot keep a consistent force up. This means that, when carrying or pushing something back, he is stuck using his normal strength. As mentioned before, he can also apply forces to any object within a 3 foot radius around him. This allows him to push or pull anything within this radius with the force, with varying results depending on how much resistance there is to the force itself. This, alongside applying forces from within his own body, is where he excels in combat, combining the two aspects of his ability together for brutal combos. While this is similar to telekinesis, he cannot keep a consistent force up just like before. This means, of course, he cannot keep an object suspended in the air or keep them in place. The biggest weakness of Primal Force, outside of the range, is the strain it puts on Randall's body. While he has a good amount of stamina to use the power during a fight, it will eventually wear him out, especially if he's using the ability multiple times consecutively. It doesn't really have a "recharge", as it doesn't pull from a source - rather, it's plain old physical exhaustion. Meaning that if he is already physical exhausted without having used the power, he'll have a tough time mustering the strength to use the ability. She was born with blonde hair and green eyes, but his form quickly changed, losing her original form. Personal InfoName: Ririna Usami (宇佐見 リリナ)Age: 16Sex: F
Rina stands at a modest 155 cm, with her weight kept a secret. Though, looking at her relatively slim body, it's safe to assume she's not very heavy at all. She has a penchant for letterman jackets and keeps a rather wide collection of them, though most of them are stolen. Aside from that, there's not much else to comment upon. Her skin is a notch more tanned the average Asian, with noticeable tan lines beneath her clothes.
A self-described prodigy, Rina has a very high image of herself, and would immediately put herself on a pedestal above most other people she meets. Having been enjoying a position of power for most of her life, Rina's confident and arrogant personality paints the image of a female gang leader, which is exactly the image she wants to give off. Most of the time, she's cool and laid-back, with a rather snarky edge to her words as well as a general tone of arrogance, especially when the subject of combat abilities are brought up. When it comes to befriending people, Rina has a lot of difficulty swallowing the idea that someone is a 'friend' of equal footing to her, instead preferring to have lackeys that obey her. Calm, composed, but also incredibly smug, Rina has a habit of underestimating people, as well as having a strong desire to prove her superiority to them. An attention whore to a degree, she gets easily ticked off when someone else overshadows her achievements, and would often challenge them to a fight or contest of sorts to devalue their achievement and pin the attention on herself. That said, she's not stupid, and won't pick a fight she can't win. In such cases, she would simply grit her teeth, with the knowledge that the offending person did not beat her in a straight fight being enough of a calming factor for her. She takes a lot of pride in her ability, as well as her relative intelligence. Despite not being very good at studying, Rina's street smarts, as well as her general intuition and wisdom picked up from her time as a street urchin proving as invaluable assets throughout her life. Heck, it'd be easy to say that she is a natural genius at being a villainness. Ultimately, her pride also proves as her biggest downfall. As mentioned before, she hates when someone one-ups her, but, having not known the taste of defeat, she has a very hard time accepting when she is bested, and would go on a terrifying tantrum upon realizing that she is completely outclassed by someone else. A tomboy through and through, Rina is mostly uninterested in 'girly things'. Frills and dolls don't excite her nearly as much as jackets and weapons. She also speaks in a very rough and boyish manner, using 'boku' to refer to herself, as well as cursing like a sailor when ticked off. She enjoys sports in general, though her favorite seems to be football. That said, she does have a soft spot for children younger than her as well as furry animals. For all the effort she goes through to make herself seem like a tough, rough, 'manly' banchou, Rina is surprisingly good at housework. She's rather neat and tidy, and is good at cooking, washing clothes and sewing.
Rina was born as one of the many, many homeless kids that roam the streets of Lowerhaven slums. She never met her parents, nor had any parental figure stay in her life long enough for her to consider as a parent. For the vast majority of her life, the only person Rina can trust, and the only she can look up to, is herself. She spent the very first few years of her life in an orphanage, where she would discover her powers at the young age at 4. Soon after, she became the leader of the group of young kids that inhabit the orphanage, leading the gang of 13 or so children through various petty crimes. Eventually, she came to be called 'boss' by the rest of the orphanage and as time passed, the original caretakers left the children behind, leaving them in Rina's care.Being the oldest and most powerful of the kids, 9 year old Rina suddenly found herself as not only the leader of the group of orphans, but also as their parental figure. Conditions in Lowerhaven's slums were not kind for the orphans. Any place with a surplus of supplies is immediately targeted by the homeless, and with no deterrent for crime as everyone gathered there were the lowest of low, the only way for the kids to defend themselves was by outwitting or overpowering everyone around them. Rina found herself involved in streetfights day after day, and every day in itself is a fight for survival. The only way to get food and supplies is to steal them, and if she was ever caught in the act, she's in for a beating. She survived, of course. And she honed her hand-to-hand combat skills, as well as utilizing her abilities. By the time she was 15, she managed to establish her orphanage as a safe haven where kids with no place to return to can have a good meal and a roof over their head. Rina stood at the top of the violent food chain that is the slums at a very young age, a position which went in over her head, turning her into the overconfident, smug alpha jabroni she is now. Still dissatisfied, she one day announced to her children underlings that she would enroll in Lowerhaven high, in an attempt to further hone herself, so she can bring in more money for the orphanage. Illegally, of course. Villain InfoAllias: --
TeleportationRina's primary ability, as well as the reason she is able to single-handedly support herself and a group of children at a young age. Rina was born with the ability to instantaneously teleport any object to another object or point in space without size or distance limit -including herself, as long as the object is not fixed in place. The ability works by giving Rina the ability to apply 'tags' to objects via touching it directly. Once something is tagged, she can teleport herself and other objects she tagged onto the tagged object's location. Though she is limited by only being able to have two tags up at the same time, her teleporting ability is unique in that there is virtually no lag between her whisking an object away to it reappearing in the desired location. Not to mention, the lack of a size nor distance limit makes her able to teleport virtually anything that she can lift or displace. That said, it's not as if she can simply teleport a whole tank. The energy needed to teleport larger objects scales with her weight exponentially, meaning that teleporting objects much heavier than her tires her out much quicker. At her current level, she can teleport objects upwards of 3 tons with her ability, but it would leave her completely tired out afterwards. The same is true with distance, the further she teleports, the more fatigued she becomes.Despite the relative simplicity of her power, Rina has developed a combat style that suits her abilities, as well as having mastered it to an extent that she is feared as the 'fastest'. She would often apply her tags to throwable objects, essentially allowing her to instantaneously close gaps between multiple opponents at once, to the point where, with enough concentration, she could realistically stay in the air forever, by continuously redirecting the object she has tagged midair, giving her the ability to take on multiple foes at once. Of course, there are many, many other applications of this ability, but listing them all here would be unwise. Hand-to-hand combat prowessRina, having been in numerous streetfights from a young age, is incredibly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, often boasting that she's unbeatable in a straight up fight. Her fighting style revolves around abusing the speed advantage from her teleportation, focused on rapid barrages of closed-fist strikes and kicks. Though her physical strength is lacking, she is still much stronger than the average untrained woman, and is more than capable of taking on men her age in unarmed combat. Ririna is somebody who's doing bad things for a good purpose, and those are my favorite types of villains. Some parts of the bio are written in present-tense which is odd, but I'm not going to pay it too much mind. Power: This is a different spin on a typical power, and I give you props yet again for that. You've got limits on how far she can teleport (sort of), but my main concern is how often she can do it. As it is, she can set two tags, go into a fight with one tagged object and use it to continually jump around and beat the hell out of people, then go to the second one if she's in trouble, effectively giving her a get out of jail free card depending on the distance teleported. Perhaps think about what type of limit you think would be fair for how often she can teleport, if one is deemed necessary. Other Notes: Her name says Ririna but her personality and bio say Rina. Which is it? Also I'm honestly really amused that I'd probably do basically this kind of app (albeit probably with different powers) if I didn't do Camille instead. In most other situations, Arleigh wears rather loose-fitting clothing.
I'm sure I've done them myself though. Sue me. Anyway, I like her typical dry demeanor. Those are the types of characters I generally really like. Bio: This is a bio that leaves me with some questions. Do her parents know where Arleigh is? How do they feel about all this? They kinda just stop existing once her grandpa comes into the picture. The nature of the curse isn't really explained either, but this is something that can very well be looked into over the course of the RP. Power: This is cool. The limits of what she can do are clearly stated, as are the downsides to doing it. You also explained it quickly and cleanly. Good job. Have a cookie. Other Notes: There aren't any students I'm looking forward to seeing have interactions with the staff quite as much as Arleigh. Specifically, I want to see how she and Departed interact, seeing as the latter is the magic teacher and, quite like Arleigh's grandfather, a lich. It'd be fun to watch. She remembers smiling a lot, even through hardship, when she was alive and has applied that same strategy in undeath, which slowly caused her to link her happiness and suffering as correlatives. A sadistic murderer, she now finds her greatest joy in pain, either suffering it or inflicting it, as well as eating. She loves to eat and can be easily manipulated with candy, like a little girl. After all, she mostly behaves like an immature brat, almost as if her mind hadn't grown over the last years, like her body.Eva does her best to get good grades and act proper in school, in order to appeasse her masters, yet she can't help but act as if everything is a game, and can often be seen between classes trying to make friends with everyone, much to their chagrin of having her stench stick to their clothes for the rest of the day.
“The masters takes good care of Eva! So Eva does their bidding in exchange~”Eva doesn't remember much of her life. Brief rose-tinted flashbacks often enter her mind when she focuses, but nothing too eventful. The truth is, Eva's short life was a tragedy. She fell ill to a rare disease and was isolated most of her childhood, watching through the window as other kids played outside. Eva's parents often argued, as they were extremely stressed by her only daughter's condition, and the toll it took on them monetarily. Taking the blame for her condition, Eva did her best to always smile through the pain to cheer up her parents. Eva died at the age of ten, after a particularly cold winter took what was left of her immune system. Many years later, Eva opened her eyes again, in a completely different environment. A cold, damp swamp surrounded her, as well as four cloaked figures. They introduced themselves as Eva's new masters, and tried to explain as slowly as they could her current situation. Eva had been revived as the four necromancers' succesful attempt at creating an eternal undead servant, one that wouldn't rot, and that could think for itself. A regeneration spell had been placed on her, which passively undid her decay, as well as fixed any injury she took. Her brain had the functions of a human's brain completely restored, which meant she wasn't as much of a shambling mess as their other attempts. In the beginning, Eva rejected their master's attempts to communicate, and often tried to run away to her mommy. It wasn't until they found her absurdly sweet tooth that they began to tame her. She was instructed in their necromancy, ran errands for her masters and, most importantly, became their loyal corpse delivery girl. Fresh, just-killed bodies were the best to experiment on, so Eva would often run off at night to the closest town and wreak havoc, bringing as many dead bodies as her stunted-growth body could handle.Impressed with her potential, and realizing they had nothing else to teach her, Eva's masters decided to send her to a place that could handle her more adequately: Lowhaven. Now 16 years old (10 living, 6 in undeath), Eva has enrolled in Center Lowhaven High to become a 'villain'. She didn't really understand what that all meant, but as long as she got to please her masters, and kill in the meantime, Eva was willing to put up with anything! Villain InfoAlias: Gravedigger
Undeath: As a zombie, Eva's body works differently than other student's. She does not require to eat and, since her body can't break food down into calories, even if she were to eat (which she indulges in, even more than regular people) she wouldn't gain any weight. Eva has a slow regeneration factor, which means that she can piece her body back together after most injuries. The drawback to this is that she needs to focus on her regeneration, which means she can't use it in combat, only after it. Since her body can regenerate, and she had a high pain threshold to begin with, Eva can use the 100% of her body's capabilities without fear of pulling a muscle or breaking a bone. If Eva's brain is damaged, she won't be able to regenerate any wounds to it. Constant or severe damage to the head can put an end to her entirely.Arise!: Her years of necromantic training allow Eva to will corpses to life, albeit fresh bodies are hard to come by in school. These zombies decay at an alarming rate, only being able to hold themselves together for a couple of minutes at best, which is why she seldomly uses this ability.Poltergeists: A more versatile ability, Eva has a pair of wandering souls under her command, which take the shape of small wisps floating beside her at most times. She can command these souls to enter any moderately-sized inanimate object, possessing it. The Poltergeists can make the objects float, but cannot operate complex mechanisms.
1st Period: Psychology2nd Period: Magic3rd Period: Free4th Period: PE5th Period: History6th Period: Chemistry7th Period: Biology8th Period: Power ManagementAfter School: Cooking Club
Personality: She and Mary both have that "I'm going to kill you and there's a big smile on my face while I'm doing it" thing going for them. Because of this, he usually zones out or falls asleep in the middle of class. Despite this, he is somehow able to get decent grades. That’s because he’s actually a pretty smart guy and could get straight A’s if he really tried. He sometimes plays pranks by putting a smoke or water rose in someone’s locker, then having it explode when the person opens the door, either drenching them in water or covering them in smoke. He usually tries to make friends when he can. All and all, Thorn seems more like a kid than a villain in training. But don’t let his personality fool you. His skills in battle with his powers are above-par. So if you don’t want to be injured, don’t provoke him. As long as you’re not mean to him, he won’t attack you. When fighting someone, he'll try to make conversation with his enemy and even point out a few things about their fighting. Thorn grew up in a city of villains, he doesn’t have a sense of right or wrong. He doesn’t find it wrong to steal something or beat somebody up. He just sees it as something to do and that’s it.
WIPAlias:
Thorny vines:Thorn’s power is, ironically, the ability to create and control thorny vines. He can make jungle-sized thorny vines grow from rice-sized seeds that he can magically make. The thorns from these vines are sharp enough to pierce skin and bring blood while the seeds can grow almost instantly whether they are in soil or not. But there is a big difference between seeds in dirt and seeds that aren’t in dirt. Seeds in dirt grow into 12 foot tall vines, while seeds that aren’t in dirt are half that at 6 feet. The other difference is that a vine planted in dirt becomes deeply rooted in the ground, making it hard to pull out of the ground. A vine that isn’t in dirt has to use a sticky, plant-like substance to stay stuck to the ground but is easier to rip out than a vine planted in dirt. Since the seeds can grow almost anywhere, Thorn will scatter them across the battlefield before having them grow. All elemental roses share the same blast radius of 8 feet. As of now, Thorn is only capable of making 20 roses a day.
Fire Rose: An orange rose, capable of exploding into a ball of flames and burning anything in its blast radius. The flames from the Fire Rose cause the same damage as normal flames, but will extinguish after a few seconds. Water Rose: A blue rose capable of exploding into a rushing wave of water. The max water that can be in a Water Rose is 2 gallons, which is to enough soak somebody, but is otherwise useless. Because of this, Thorn will usually use this rose for either a prank or to distract his opponent. Ice Rose: A cyan rose capable of exploding, covering anything in its blast radius with ice. The ice from the rose is the exact same as normal ice. Thorn mainly uses this to either slow down his opponent or to freeze the floor between him and his adversary. Electric Rose: A yellow rose capable of exploding and shocking anybody within its blast radius. The shock is enough to stun somebody for about 5 seconds, but is not enough to knock them out. Wind Rose: A grey rose capable of exploding into a shockwave of wind. The blast is enough to knock anybody in its blast radius a good 5 feet away. When the bouquet touches something or is activated by command, it explodes in a 12 foot radius, unleashing a devastating elemental attack. Thorn only makes it powerful enough to cause an injury and/or knock somebody out. After all, he wouldn’t want to get kicked out of new haven for killing someone. Since the bouquet uses elemental roses, it counts towards the 20 roses he can make a day. Not sure how I feel about stating his skill in battle being above-par, but that might be just me. Bio: You still don't have this. Power - Thorny Vines: The first sentence for the vines. That's not what irony is; the word you want is "coincidentally". Irony would be if he had this power but also had a family history of pollen allergies or something. Moving on, if he can make the seeds that then grow into vines... why not just simplify it into making vines? Perhaps on a surface he makes contact with within so and so radius of Thorn himself? Power - Elemental Roses: I'd express discomfort with the blast radius of these roses, given his power is already very well suited for fighting in smaller spaces like a hallway because of the vines, but the fact that he can only make 20 per day eases these concerns a bit. You seem to also underestimate his roses when used in combination with each other, particularly hitting somebody with a water rose then an electric one. On the note of electric roses, a five-second stun is REALLY powerful. Will probably need some nerfs, but overall I like this power. Power - Elemental Bouquet: This in particular makes me especially wary, due to the above concerns with his roses and the fact that they gained a 50% increase in blast radius. Also the city's called Lowhaven, not New Haven. I'm assuming this was some form of autocorrect at work though.
King K. Azo

He trained on his own from that point forward, advancing his Slipstream ability so that he could use it to throw small objects (albeit not much faster than he could just throwing normally). ALL THAT CHANGED when the fire nation attacked when his father got promoted to work in upper management in his company.
With enough focus, he can push supersonic speeds with objects small enough, including his choice weapon of marbles, which he carries several of in his pockets. Notably, this ability does not ignore Newton's third law of motion, unlike most other forms of telekinesis. This is to say, that any force he exerts on an object through use of his power, is reflected back on his body in the opposite direction. What this translates into is that, when he fires projectiles down his arm, his arms suffers from recoil, similar to that of a firearm (greater, actually, since many modern firearms absorb much of the energy in blowback mechanisms). Slipstream also has the special attribute of multiple levels of use.
Usual attire is just about as revealing as the above picture, with the only sort of additional ‘coverage’ being the jacket.
Money. Money, money, money. All about money. In this world, the only thing that could even begin to come close to the size of Rain’s overwhelming greed would be his cunning. With a life involving constant interactions of cutthroat work, he wouldn’t bat an eye at using underhanded tactics to maximize his income. Years have also given him a sense of caution towards picking targets as well. Fools are quick to part with their wallet, but making enemies of the smart would be dangerous. Similarly, despite the potential income, the risk means Rain is averse to gambling, preferring the steady, reliable income of his work. However, he’d be glad to offer a hand with any service one could desire - as long as they named a suitable price. After all, money is king. Due to his approach to life, he usually has issues with getting close to people. Friendship is an unnecessary complication towards business. While he would be amiable to avoid conflict, he would not waste further effort unless it would help business. Why does Rain desire money so? The short answer he’d be willing to give is money makes the world go around. The rush of power and command he feels from his immense wealth is as addicting as the extremely expensive alcohol and cigars he regularly consumes. Because of his distaste for Lowhaven’s digital currency system which has a built-in reset, Rain always stockpiles his excess money in the form of more whisky and smoke the day before. Similarly, his plans at Lowhaven are nothing more than to learn more tools for his trade and perhaps find potential business ventures. … Or so he’d say. Despite his manipulative and unhesitatingly criminal personality that he displays, Rain has more sides to him he would not show for any price. For they cover deep wounds that have still yet to heal. And twisted and horribly misshapen as they may be, he still has a form of morals. Unfortunately for most of his victims, money trumps his morals any day. The biggest being his aversion towards first-hand murder. Eight years had done little to make him any better at stomaching the murder of another - not that it would stop him as long as he was paid enough. The only other half of his morals regard exploiting the weak and/or poor. He himself had once been in that situation after being banished dishonorably by his family, it leaves a bad taste in his mouth. This is made worse by the fact that since those sorts of people have no money themselves, operations usually involve murdering them for their organs to resell on the black market. However, just like with the last, for a high enough price, Rain will bury his stomach to get the job done. Even Rain’s desire itself to earn money in the first place stems from another secret point in his past. After being brutally exiled from the syndicate his family was a part of directly because of his own parents’ decisions, a burning, dark resentment had began to fester within him. Sharpening that hatred into strength, he was determined to prove that he would not need them to be successful, even if he himself wasn’t strong physically or morallessly. Rain would begin a mad journey of greed that spawned from his resentment, but would snowball into something much larger as he grew drunk off both the rush of power and his addiction to his coping mechanisms of alcohol and nicotine. Yet… even despite all that, somewhere, within some small corner of his blackened heart, lies a regretful yearning for the life he used to have, and the recognition he had never received. ”Money cannot be sin, nor can anything with money be sin.
Shortly after, he vomited, and those gathered left in their own disgust at this completely un-villain-like child. Considered a failure and a reject, he was near outcast socially by a large portion of the syndicate for almost the next two whole years. Rain funneled the free time into learning the technical and behind-the-scenes of crime and exploring just what his power could do. What he could not match in physical prowess or apathy, he more than made up for in the other departments. Between information collection, bribery, blackmail, trickery, and smuggling services via his power, he slowly drew the interest of others in the crime and villains world once more. Rain knew himself fully well that he had hardly any potential to commit crime alone. Bonus points if they were incredibly expensive or rare brands. Towards the start of the sixth year, he made his way into Lowhaven, hearing about its reputation and name frequently. The first and most dislikable thing about the town was the usage of Credits. For someone whose greed was unmatchable, giving up the existence of tangible money in return for digital, invisible currency, left a bitter taste in his mouth. However, he could not deny the quite large and respectable number of villains within that world, and figured he could perhaps start a new business venture here. Upon discovering the existence of the school, Rain had initially scoffed at it.
But if they were thrown one into each portal (so ten portals), then they’d count as all ten. A portal can be opened near instantaneously anywhere in Rain’s range of touch. 147 feet a second) at maximum. Creating a portal takes no noticeable energy whatsoever, however, keeping the portal open for longer than a few seconds will begin to continuously drain at Rain’s stamina. The portals themselves have no suction power whatsoever and will simply remain until Rain manually closes them. An important thing to note is that living objects cannot enter the portal. For instance, if someone swung a sword and a portal intercepted its trajectory, the sword would enter until the hand reached the opening of the portal, but then stop. The person would simply feel as if their hand met against the edge of an immovable barrier. Lastly, an incredibly important thing to note is that when the portal is closed, anything that gets caught within the mouth will be cut through, regardless of its composition or other properties.
"Okay, your computer is literally screaming at me. What the HELL where you doing on this?!?" Personal InformationName: Victor "Vic" McCoyAge: 15Sex: Male
Height: 5'3"Weight: 103 lbs Depicted above is Victor's general appearance.
Thus...Victor McCoy's villain journey began! The outfit seen here is obviously not her casual wear but it's in a similar vein. She does not have the spear as well.
Mary most of all wants to have fun.
Name: Camille Leroux (Birth name: Lorelei Harlow) Alias: Camille Leroux Age: 16 Gender: Female
Eventually, she came to be called 'boss' by the rest of the orphanage and as time passed, the original caretakers left the children behind, leaving them in Rina's care. Being the oldest and most powerful of the kids, 9 year old Rina suddenly found herself as not only the leader of the group of orphans, but also as their parental figure.
The same is true with distance, the further she teleports, the more fatigued she becomes. Despite the relative simplicity of her power, Rina has developed a combat style that suits her abilities, as well as having mastered it to an extent that she is feared as the 'fastest'. In most other situations, Arleigh wears rather loose-fitting clothing.
She lived her last years in constant, unyielding pain, to the point of almost losing her sanity. As a coping mechanism, or an 'acquired taste', as she puts it, Eva has developed a penchant for pain: both suffering it, and inflicting it. Almost as if a sadistic switch was flipped whenever she got hurt. Despite this, Eva is a pretty normal student in her day-to-day life.
As luck would have it, her CAT scans showed something far more threatening: a lump of considerable size in Eva's heart. Eva was taken in for treatment immediately, at the age of 14. Make your ammends and die peacefully, young one.” Eva was pained. The last thing she remembers from that day is the feeling of a cold metal object, like a dagger, piercing her chest. Eva woke up the following morning completely pain-free.She placed her hand on her chest and, other than the relief of not feeling any more pain, she noticed two things: a deep, gaping hole in her chest and the lack of a heartbeat. She'd learn necromancy from her master, dig up bodies for him and, much to her newfound delight, make some dead bodies for him as well. Lately, Eva's master took an interest in Lowhaven, specially its schools.
Undeath: As a zombie, Eva's body works differently than other student's. She does not require to eat and, since her body can't break food down into calories, even if she were to eat (which she indulges in, even more than regular people) she wouldn't gain any weight. Since she can heal and has a high pain threshold, Eva can use over 100% of a human's full strength without fear of pulling a muscle or breaking a bone. If Eva's brain is damaged, she won't be able to regenerate any wounds to it. Constant or severe damage to the head can put an end to her entirely. Arise!: Her basic necromantic training allows Eva to will corpses to life, albeit fresh bodies are hard to come by in school. These zombies decay at an alarming rate, only being able to hold themselves together for a couple of minutes at best, and only answer to simple commands. Rest in Pieces!: Eva commands her risen corpses to explode, bursting out in flesh and blood. While it can't do any real damage, it's a good diversion tactic.
Kess has a go-getter attitude that borders on and regularly spills over into pure, unchecked recklessness. She thinks she is invincible and regularly throws herself at tasks that should be beyond her, accomplishing them often on sheer tenacity alone. She has won multiple fights just by surprising her opponents by doing incredibly stupid all-out attacks when they were anticipating a more measured move. Kess doesn’t like to think before she acts; She feels instinct is one’s best ally in life. She actively badmouths the very idea of the School, and only sticks around because she has plenty of people to practice fighting on without having to deal with the pesky heroes outside Lowhaven. Brash and quick to act, being around Kess is like holding a malfunctioning bomb in your hands: Eventually something explosive will happen and it isn’t necessarily going to be good for you. A hair-trigger temper and the inability to take a joke (as well as a somewhat malicious sense of humor) make her a terrifying and explosive presence. She can’t stand to be laughed at or humiliated. She particularly doesn’t take any guff from heroes, and the few meetings she has had with ones on or near her level have resulted in them being brutalized. Kess is ruthless in battle, and enjoys it greatly, seeing it as a way of people proving themselves. Like a rabid dog, she is fond of singling out a single prey and hammers on them until she wins. She is vindictive in general, and holds grudges like nobody else. Daring to slight Kess even once is an invitation for an eternity of hardship. A feeling of great inadequacy drives every action Kess makes. She wants nothing more than to be powerful, to be the best, and to be acknowledged for it, to be praised. She thinks everybody deserves to want this, and that people are entitled to this desire. While no less abrasive, Kess holds one of the stricter moral codes out of Lowhaven students: No killing unless they REALLY deserve it. She desires strength, not to “rule the world” or some other unrealistic bullshit like that. She has justified it simply: “If I kill every hero that gets in my way, that’s just fewer times I get to smash their heads in.” She really dislikes heroes in general, though several have earned her respect, which is more than can be said for some of the less scrupulous (read: more murderous) citizens of Lowhaven.
-]Kess wasn’t the only one in her family with powers. Her parents were completely normal humans, but their son Jason had been born seven years before her, and his laundry list of powers was something. Holding the ability to control the weather itself, Jason was promising from a very young age. Intelligent, kind, and powerful, it was as if destiny had laid out a path for him from the day he was born. Not so for Kess. Born with the ability to control electricity, which was only a subset of her brother’s abilities, Kess was from the start always feeling like she wasn’t good enough. Her parents always praised Jason constantly, while Kess often caused accidents with her powers in feats meant to impress them. Perhaps enjoying the praise a bit too much, Jason got a bit conceited as he grew up, and didn’t really help Kess out much like the brother he should have been. He’s kept this superior attitude ever since, even into the hero career he started at the early age of fifteen as Stormcrash. All Kess wanted to do was be a hero herself. She saw the praise that Jason received and she wanted nothing more than to have a piece of it. She started trying to train, though she had nobody to help her. Confused and unsure of herself, she injured herself constantly, but slowly grew more powerful, though her control remained spotty. Jason found out about it and mocked her, telling her she would never be good enough to be a hero. Vehemently denying him, Kess ran out into the city streets, and from that day she started training for heroism in the true Kess way: By beating people up. Muggers, street thugs, even as young as she was a lightning-tossing child is a threat to any punk. The days would dawn with a pile of electrocuted thugs shackled to the bike rack outside the local police station. The heroes in the area were perplexed and worried about who was doing this, as the thugs were beaten to a pulp by Kess, far more than anyone calling themselves a hero had any right to. After this persisted for almost a year, with none of the heroes ever finding out who was at fault, Jason, visiting for Kess’ fourteenth birthday, started badmouthing Kess’ work. Kess responded by blasting him through a wall. She attacked him, wanting desperately to prove she was better than him, stronger, capable of proving she was a worthy hero. Jason had won the fight in five minutes. Bloodied and bruised, Kess lay at his feet, hating him as he refused to kill her, instead turning her over to the will of the heroes of New York. They berated Kess, the loudest and most vocal drowning out the more reasoning ones and condemning her behavior, escorting her to the police to be imprisoned. Kess was saved from jail that day by a relative, and teacher at Center Lowhaven High, a cousin who went by the name of Deadvolt. She spirited Kess away to Lowhaven, to recover. Crushed and defeated, and injured to the point she could barely walk, Kess spent the next six months in a slow recovery. Over that time a burning hatred for Jason festered in her stomach, a burning hatred for the heroes she had looked up to. Deadvolt sympathized, and offered her the ability to learn how to defeat them. Kess at first denied her, wanting to do it by herself. But day by day she saw more reports praising the heroes on the television, more and more articles in the newspapers that filtered down from the surface. She couldn’t stand to see it, but the weight of what she had to accomplish weighed heavy on her shoulders. She needed to be powerful to beat them. She had to be the BEST. And the only way she could think to do that was to become the most powerful villain Center Lowhaven High had ever seen.
Alias: ThunderclapPowers Electricity generation- Kess has the ability to generate and direct electricity. Her abilities in terms of generating it are very high, but her capacity to direct it leaves a lot to be desired. Exacerbated by the fact that Kess is often too impatient to aim properly, she often compensates by way of using massive surges of electrical energy powerful enough to blast a massive trench in a city street dozens of feet long. She has her limits, though they take a while to be reached even with giant bolts of electricity being thrown regularly. She can tire out quite quickly if she doesn’t pace herself. Body conduction- Kess can channel the electricity through her body, which effectively overclocks it and kicks her speed and power up into overdrive. She can outstrip even Olympic runners with ease, and it even accelerates her punches and kicks, turning them into deadly attacks that can send men flying. The downside is that Kess’ body, while fairly resilient, is still fairly close to that of the average human, making this dangerous for her to employ continuously. She usually uses it in short bursts, but even this minor act of caution hasn’t prevented her from occasionally snapping a bone in half from the sheer force she can hit someone with, including a very memorable incident where she punched her brother so hard she shattered half the bones in her hand. Between this and her massive energy needs, Kess is very much a glass cannon type of fighter, very powerful and fast, but needing to rely on her speed to avoid attacks rather than just endure them. Another major drawback of her power is that it is wearing her body down very quickly over time. She has been warned multiple times that at the rate she’s going she’ll have the aches and pains of a fifty-year-old woman by the age of twenty-five. Resiliency- Kess’ body is slightly more resistant to damage than the average human’s when electrical current is running through it, though not by much. She is also just naturally tough from all the bones she’s broken over the years, and has a very high pain tolerance. Tesability Black
"Did ya really think I wasn't gonna catch that? I caught that and at least twenty-two other secrets everyone's tried hiding today."Name: Jack AmesAge: 16, damned close to 17Sex: Male
Standing at 6'1" and weighing in at 187 lbs, Jack Ames is of dark skin that's almost Indian in nature with eyes adorned by long eyelashes and lavender irises as well as wild dark hair of a purplish-blue coloration. He has a lean build due to working out on his own, and he's rather dexterous with the long fingers on his hands. He has to be to multitask to his level. He wears a white, short-sleeved shirt under a buttonless jacket made of black denim, though he sometimes swaps out this shirt for a thin white turtleneck with a high collar. His jeans are made of the same material and he wears steel-toed leather boots for kicking with. He wears gold hoop earrings in both ears and he wears a simple golden chain around his neck, though its strong and sturdy enough to support the weight of smaller devices, like a magical amulet for a random example. On top of his head is a wide-brimmed black denim hat with a light-gray band around the base. He also often wears black gloves meant to keep his internal heat from affecting the things he touches. While he does show some skin, specifically his face, neck and hands, the rest of his body is covered due to all the horrific scarring from the burns he suffered and still suffers from. If he had to change clothes for something, he never changes in front of others because of this. There are even several points of his body where the skin still has not fully grown back and sometimes disappears from again, requiring those areas to be constantly wrapped with waterproof medical tape. The state of his body is a testament to the permanent mark left on his body by the one hero he ever had to fight before. Even without taking into account the burns, the palms of his hands have plenty of knife marks from when he cut them to begin activating new Task Dolls.
If Jack was to be honest with himself, he's actually thankful that it was a villain that ended up taking him in and under his wing, even with the rough ride with the life he's had so far. Though he never managed to get information on the hero that ended his parents' lives, he has grown to despise the heroes of the surface and their twisted self-righteousness. He has not allowed the fact that he's moved down to Lowhaven stop his search, it has only put a pause to it for the time being. He has also grown to hate the 'normal' people on the surface, the ones that praise these inflated heroes...he also hates the fact that until his eyes were opened to the truth, he was one of those same people himself. While he originally hated them from a distance after that revelation, his anger changed to more of a literal flame when he was literally burned alive by a superhero that was too eager to 'purge' evil. While he hasn't fully figured out what he wants to do with his life, he knows that heroes like that crazy need to be purged, especially for being hypocritical in regards to claiming to protect life when they have no issues with executing them instead. He plans on making a point with being a villain if he ultimately pursuits such a life, that someone like him is a direct result of the society above the surface.Growing up, he kept himself away from the other kids more to stay sane, never sure if he was supposed to make friends with people he might potentially never see again the next day. So, he was always reading, keeping himself sane and entertained in his own way. During the time he had spent with Stalo, he did not spend a lot of time with those other than his adoptive father. In fact, he had been relatively isolated from the outside world while being home-schooled, so he's actually not really sure how he'd behave around others upon going to school with other students, especially with his constant state of awareness having him catch what he probably shouldn't often times. While he may try to come off as confident and slightly cocky, he's actually quite nervous about how things will play out. He's also really hoping that he can get a room to himself, because he has to keep his room extremely cold in order to control his body temperature while he's asleep...and by cold, I mean as close to 0 degrees Celsius/32 degrees Fahrenheit without a blanket or sheet over him, clothing also optional beyond his touch-desensitization suit. He's joining the school under Stalo's urging, the elder saying that he needs to finally make friends as a whole, or at least acquire valuable allies. He's not exactly sure how to do so, but he doesn't want to disappoint the very man that gave him a better chance at life. Either way, he's due for quite the culture shock, since his use of technology growing up was admittedly minimal, maybe watched the news on the television, but that was about it. In regards to how he was trained to act around people that warrant respect, it's very easy to mistake him for someone that's spent some time in Japan, though he doesn't use honorfics.
Like many new to joining Lowhaven High this year, he's another non-native to the city. How he earned his way into the city, however, was a bit of a wild ride, one I shall have to start from the begin for.Jack hails from Austin, TX, one of the weirdest cities in at least the state if not the nation if you knew where to look. Made an orphan when he was still less than a year old due to heroes killing both of his parents during a robbery gone wrong (he found out later that his parents were the robbers who did so in desperation), Jack grew up to slowly despise the system he lived in, which did only what was required to take care of its 'wards of the state'. He eventually got out of the system at the age of 14, when he would up picking the pocket of a Lowhaven citizen that had come to the foster home he was staying at to possibly find an apprentice. The man that adopted him, Stalo 'Voodoo' Merino, after Jack managed to get into the basement floors, began trying to teach him how to make use of his particular art so that it would not die with him. However, after a few months, two things were discovered. One was that Jack's potential for magic was stunted, a normal person had more potential than him. The other was that, once something was surgically-implanted into him that functioned as a miniature second heart, his interactions with the voodoo dolls were different than usual.Stalo, after some time, figured out a good use for this altered use of voodoo magic. So, he pushed the youth into training his mind to expand his awareness and focus. After all, if one knew what was happening everywhere you'd have a set of eyes, you could catch everything that happened. It took six months of training before Jack's mind finally settled in a way that it could pay attention to two very different sensory points of view and the same time without the royally-splitting headache the attempts would make. Once his brain finally figured out how to do this level of multitasking, Jack was pushed to expand his ability to multitask further and further. Now, he's in constant awareness of everything in his surroundings, and can't really shut this mentality off beyond calling the 'Blank', 'Silence' and 'Lose' Tasks for any dolls that had active either 'Observe', 'Listen' or 'Track'.Recently, Jack had the nastiest of experience with a hero, though she almost did not live to tell the tale. After nearly getting cooked alive after getting trapped in the basement levels by a pyromancer hero with a vengeance against his adoptive father named Fajro, Jack managed to escape within an inch of his life by finishing the one Task Doll now capable of wielding an element (specifically the eternal flame) in combat. Fajro managed to escape after the doll he has named the Armagnis-Sai tried to kill her in gory and fiery ways, but ultimately did not succeed when Jack gave the 'Halt' and 'Guard' commands.Jack was lucky Stalo showed up as soon as he did because even though he was no longer in the flames filling the basement, the boy's body was still burning internally. When he awoke, he was in a hospital room that was not in a hospital. Apparently, an extremely-powerful regeneration spell had been cast upon him to undo the damage already dealt to his body overall as well as keep fighting the internal heat he's still suffering from. It is hypothesized that he may wind up with a pseudo-immortality because of the power behind the spell that had been anchored to him, but that only keeps the flames held back and from him dying of natural causes. He'll definitely still kick it if someone tries to actively kill him and hits their marks.Once Jack had 'fully' recovered (meaning that if covered up except for his head, hands and maybe his neck and can move around without severe pain), he discovers that Stalo had bought replacements for a lot of their things as well as gave Jack a sack large enough to put the Armganis-Sai doll in after it has followed the 'Revert' Task. It was a heatproof bag that has an enchantment on it that functions like a bag of holding for his Task Dolls. Jack gets in the packed-up vehicle with Stalo, and they both make it to Lowhaven. Jack almost did not get in, despite being adopted by a Lowhaven citizen, but once Stalo mentioned that he fought a hero with minimal training and survived and which hero it was, they reluctantly let him in as well. Now, Jack's here under Stalo's urging, in hopes that he will further blossom as a villain. While unsure what to expect, he does do so anyway, not wishing to disappoint him...not yet, at least.Villain InformationAlias: Taskmaster

The only traditional 'power' Jack really has is a limited immortality. He is unable to die due to old age, and his body will never deteriorate due to his ever-increasing age. If he's careful, he can easily see 200+ years of age because of this. This means that many age-related diseases would never come to affect him, either. However, he still damned well can be killed by other means. This is something he keeps silent about since he doesn't want people who would want him dead to actively try to kill him, especially among those with longer lifespans, since they would realize that old age won't cause him to permanently funk off. This is sourced from a high-level regeneration spell that had to be woven into him that also had to be immune to most attempts of magical negation, which fights off the permanent burns his body suffers. If the spell ever is undone, he will instantly die as a literal puddle of flesh.
Jack is often times seen working with small clay figures, even during class times, to some teachers' aggravations. The clay used for these figures, no larger than typical action figures usually while being worked on, are unique in function and are referred to by Jack as 'Task dolls'. With a prick of his blood, the density of these figures changes to match the density of something larger, requiring Jack to keep a special case that creates an anti-gravity field within it to carry many of these 'activated' figures on his person. Each figure is programmed with a specific set of Tasks upon creation, which they follow to the best of their ability, and cannot be programmed further. While he can create figures that can use various methods of attack, such as fire or electricity, how powerful they become depends on his own personal exposure to those elements and how close he comes to death from it during the final steps of a figure's initial creation. Also, outside of when certain Tasks are active, these figures are incapable of hearing anyone except Jack. Jack knows how to make the clay used for these figures and the 'activating' ingredient for them is a sliver of his own blood so that they develop a pseudo mental-link with their creator. It is through this link that how to follow the various Tasks are given. In the case of any Task related to receiving sensory information, all sense-based ability is based on his own senses. Outside of the Tasks, while a doll is 'Open', they are autonomous but are only capable of following their Tasks. Unless given the 'Guard' Task to defend themselves, they have no concept of self-preservation. The dolls' resilience, ability to harm and abilities depend on how they are crafted and the intent behind them. Combat-centric dolls are far sturdier than other types, for example. Most of the dolls he does have are based on the various birds that appear in Texas, and so can fly about. They are also not considered as either alive or human, despite the presence of human blood in the case of the later. Due to the density of the activated dolls, even after the 'Revert' Task is used, he stores all his dolls in a bag that's both heatproof and is effectively a bag of holding. However only the dolls can be stored in there, anything else is pushed back out after a few minutes.
As time moves forward, this list of commands will eventually expand, but hopefully not too fast for this RP.~Open/Revert: 'Open' is the Task that is given to all of his figures, no exceptions. When this command is given, the figure he's holding begins to move and, if needed, enlarge to an appropriate size for the shape. 'Revert' is the Task given to cause a figure to return to its original state, though it keeps its new compressed density.~Observe/Blank: Observe is the Task that Jack can give a figure to have them watch over something, but purposely not listen to what's happening around them.'Blank' is the Task to cease this action.~Listen/Silence: 'Listen' functions like 'Observe', but with sounds instead. 'Silence' stops this Task.~Track/Cease: 'Track' records both sound and visual as it attempts to follow the chosen 'prey' everywhere. 'Cease' stops this.~Seek/Lose: 'Seek', unlike 'Track', causes the figure to actively search for something it doesn't know the location for immediately before continuing on as if under 'Track'. 'Lose' is the Task given to cause the figure to allow the figure to stop following/searching for the intended target.~Reveal/Close: Often paired with 'Observe', 'Listen', 'Track' and 'Seek', this command begins actively sending Jack projections of what they pick up to his mind. Because of his ability to multitask (see the next 'power'), this doesn't distract him from anything else he's doing, though.~Guard/Flee: 'Guard' is as it says, it's the Task for protecting a specific person/being/thing. 'Flee' is not exactly running away from the task, but instead, the figure backing down from the task and withdrawing into itself.~Kill/Halt: You have funked up if 'Kill' is the Task given. While only a rare number of figures he makes are capable of this Task, the ones that are specifically made for this are more than able to handle it. When the 'Kill' Task is given to a figure, your only hope is for Jack to tell the figure to 'Halt'. Otherwise, it will keep going and trying to hunt down and kill the target, no matter what happens to it. In the case of inanimate objects being 'Kill'ed, it becomes the Task to fully destroy it instead. As of now, he only has one figure linked to this Task, and it is a fire-based one.~Takedown/Back Up: The significantly less-permanent version of 'Kill', 'Takedown' aims to render a being unconscious. For inanimate objects, it means to deal significant damage, but still leave it repairable. 'Back Up' is the Task to end 'Takedown'.~Obey/Rebel: This is the only time the figures will obey someone other than Jack. When Jack gives the 'Obey' Task, the figure, in turn, begins obeying the orders of the specified target. However, the new Taskmaster cannot give a Task that runs counter to Jack's Tasks, they cannot follow a Task they were not programmed with upon original activation, nor can they be Tasked to inflict any form of harm towards Jack.
The dolls listed here are the ones that would be near-impossible to replace for one reason or another.Name: Armagnis-Sai
The Armagnis-Sai doll becomes a horse-sized canine with primarily vivid-red fur and neon-green bands around its paws and multiples of the same around its tail in addition to an underbelly of the same color. It has a slightly dark-yellow mane and vivid-yellow ears that could be mistaken for frayed ribbons. Out of its back emerges a long leathery tendril that's capable of wielding even two-handed weapons, such as claymores, with ease. Its eyes are pure black and its nose, fangs and claws are of the same color.Doll Type: CombatProgrammed Tasks: Open/Revert, Track/Cease, Seek/Lose, Reveal/Close, Guard/Flee, Takedown/Back Up, Kill/HaltUnique Traits: Can make use of the immortal flame that both it and Jack had been burned with to fight offensively. Will often ignite itself to give it an aura of flame, but keep it from burning whatever was physically touching it when it initially flares up.Jack's state at original Activation: Jack was near dead when this awoke while both were being burned. It's not likely that this doll's strength will be passed in an elemental standpoint anytime soon. Can this ever be replaced?: Yes, but Jack isn't eager to attempt a Round 2 to make a second one.

When it comes to time-management, attention-splitting and focus, Jack's got that covered in spades. For example, in the time a normal student would have one paper written, he's got one done for all of his classes in the same time frame...which often leaves him with way too much free time literally. This level of ability to focus on so many things at once allows him to catch what many would miss, allowing him to spot the weaknesses of his would-be opponents sooner than most above all else. Quite a few teachers will soon realize that, just because he doesn't seem like he's paying attention, doesn't mean he isn't. A random pop-quiz about all that was talked about in the last 15 minutes of class can reveal this fact clearly. He can use this in combination with his smaller, flight-capable Task Dolls to keep up with all of his classes at once, even if he's stuck in bed due to illness. However, this comes with a bit of a caveat. It's near impossible for him to sleep. He has to not only 'Revert' all his dolls, he has to wear both a blindfold over his eyes and a set of sleep-muffs over his ears to have the chance to fall asleep.
In regards to getting into a fight, his preferred method is with sporting rifles, especially with melee-hardened ones so that when someone's too close or he runs out of bullets, he can still deliver some serious pain. If he has to use traditional melee weapons, he's more than at home with a pair of daggers or a whip in his hands.

This is not as much a power as it is a consequence of past events. Ever since getting burned as badly as he was by the hero Fajro, his body is still burning internally with only the regeneration spell on him keeping him from literally cooking from the inside out. Because of this, however, his clothes have to be at least heatproof and he is forced to keep others from touching his skin at risk of getting a heat burn. When awake, he almost always has to have some form of super-cold beverage in hand to drink, to the point that he's one of the few allowed to have beverages in the classrooms. When he's asleep, he has to have the temperature turned down often as cold as it can go to sleep somewhat comfortably...as if he did not already have problems with sleep. He also doesn't need to cook raw meat before eating it because of this, since it literally cooks while he chews. He's developed a bit of a taste for blood because of this. Needless to say, this wierds out someone who doesn't know this about him when he literally chomps into a raw steak.
1st Period: Psychology2nd Period: Magic3rd Period: Art4th Period: PE5th Period: History6th Period: Chemistry7th Period: Biology8th Period: Power ManagementAfter School: Newspaper Club~Unlike most students, he doesn't need a free period. He has more than enough free time already.~
Jack Ames was originally the father figure of a character I have in a Pokemon Tabletop United (P.T.U. aka Pokemon D20) campaign. Originally, his wife had wound up bearing a son that had embedded into the kid the same wish-granting powers as a Jirachi, due to being born because of the same-named Pokemon. When the kid was still an infant in that RP, Jack wished for his specific brand of immortality, then almost immediately after it was granted wished to seal the infant's power and make it so that they can't reawaken on their own.The alias 'Taskmaster' is also sourced from P.T.U., and is one of the Trainer Classes that this character had. Taskmaster characters are absolutely cruel to their Pokemon, even going as far as injuring them to force them to bring out their all. The other two Trainer classes he has in that campaign are Provocateur (which allows Trainers to use the power of the spoken word to harm/piss off the foe) and Roughneck (which allows Trainers to get involved in the fight directly and do so in downright-dirty ways).Someone figured this out later, but apparently, if you swap out the 'me' in Ames for an 's', his full name turns into Jack Ass...which was completely unintentional.Once the classes begin, he's unsure how the Power Management class would work for someone like him. Outside of his Task Dolls and his extreme degree of multitasking, he's not sure this is a class that even applies to him.Theme Song: Bring Me Back To Life - Extreme MusicBattle Song: For the River - NickelbackActual Voice: Control (Male Version) - Halsey and 54288

"If you only knew my original plans for you, my young Taskmaster."Current Name: Stalo MerinoAge:~Current Body: 72~Total: Good question, even he doesn't remember anymoreSex: Male
Currently, as Stalo Merino, he actually has to look up to meet Jack's eyes, due to standing at 5'11. He weighs in a 210lbs and is almost all muscle under his clothes, which is uncommon among magic users like himself. He maintains an air of professionalism, which stretches into even his clothes for relaxing, and his presence silently commands respect from those around him.
Respect. He both demands and give it, no matter if he's dealing with hero, villain or civilian when not actively engaging in villainous acts. Needlessly making enemies during daily life has, more often than not, caused many a villain to meet an early end, and his long existence has shown that he has more than learned that lesson from other villains and heroes collectively. The earth itself, he has high respect for, preferring to keep destruction to man-made structures while keeping damage to nature itself as minimal as possible. After all, it's pointless to take over a world that's doomed to death. Recent acts of villainy could actually be labeled as anti-heroism, for he has been aiming for those among civilians especially whom recklessly destroy the world for the sake of greed. While he tries not to do so, sometime he says something that reveals his true age, such as mentioning things that happened at least a century ago. He has witnessed many heroes and villains rise and fall, knows all of their preferred names for use. A few lifespans spent among Japanese culture has him recently endeared to them, especially how well-drilled the concept of respect is into them. Because of this, he has even drilled his most-recent ward, Jack Ames, much of their culture.
Stalo was originally born with a different name an indiscernible time in the past. He was once a young man of African descent, the child of shamans in a small, tight-knit clan whose name was lost to history. He was to be taught the ways of the clan's magic, as it was his role in the clan. He was a perfect model for the clan, obedient to the wishes of the Ioa that aid the clan in prosperity. However, even with all the years of following the wishes of the Ioa and allowing the blessings of prosperity come to them, a curse fell upon them by the same Ioa the clan followed and served loyally for many generations. Nothing the man could do appeased the Ioa, nor could he understand why they were acting as they did. It confused and frightened the man, who was forced to watch as each person in his clan fell ill other than him to a strange force. Each person was ill for exactly 13 days before finally falling unconscious and never reawakening.Upon the slumber of both the chief and his woman, the man cried out to the Ioa, finally demanding in hysterics why this was happening. The man, without intending to, had opened himself up for possession upon wishing for this answer, and a foul spirit entered him, one of the darker spirits amoung the Ioa, that had been waiting in the shadows for an opportunity.Your people have done nothing wrong, the ones you serve are the one that were to be punished for their unseen sins, but they shifted their judgement onto your people to save themselves, it whispered into the man's mind with poisonous yet true words, words that he felt should be ignored, but he could not stop himself from listening. You are the last, but you need not allow yourself to flee the world as they would have you do. You can survive, thrive, surpass those who wish you dead as they have wished your people so.The will to resist the intruder began to drain and he felt the Ioa bond with him permanently, feeling power he never had ever dared to dream of, since it was not his to use.Allow me to show you the power you and I can wield.Though the Ioa that possessed him, the man shifted from the roll of a houngan, a Voodoo priest, to that of a botono, a sorcerer that made use of their magic to injury and cause misfortune. The self-bound Ioa showed the man how to create special dolls made of flesh and clay that can be used to move from body to body. The first attempts to place these special dolls into their hosts were shaky in that the they had to be ingested, for they could not be placed into the body in other ways that made the material connect permanently, but the moment they felt that one of the dolls had anchored themselves into a person, the Ioa bid the man to let go of his body, to focus on the one the connection was formed with. After several days of urging and the body's slow decay due to age, the man finally released his grip on the body he was born in, soon opening a different pair of eyes to see the world with.As the times advanced and the centuries passed, the man grew to hate the state of the world more and more, seeing the spirits of greed that hail from alien mentalities emerging more and more, but he and the Ioa soon lost their original flare, blending more and more into becoming one being with each shift from host to host.Over time, once their minds were one, they wished a name for themselves to be remembered in history. It was they that began to call themselves 'Immortalis', a name that soon left its mark on important events throughout the history of the world, even if unseen for many centuries. The rise and fall of heroes, villains and influential figures among the normal folk, they saw it all and they knew it all....and they knew that the time to refresh the world of its foul humanity was coming soon.Villain InformationAlias: Voodoo / Immortalis

Unlike Jack with his Task Dolls, Stalo can use parts of a person, such as a person's hair for a primary example or a piece of dried flesh, and embed it into a doll with similar likeness to take total control of the victim's body. The one being controlled is fully aware and can try to fight it, but not many are successful when they don't know how they are being controlled.
Immortalis uses a very unique voodoo 'doll' for this purpose. He will take a part of a person and use it in a doll that's shaped like a small heart. While the intended recipient is asleep and rendered unable to awaken early, the heart is surgically implanted into the person near the original heart. Once this is done, at any point, Immortalis can allow himself to 'let go' of his current body and possess any living being with this second heart. This form of possession kills the original host and is replaced entirely by Immortalis. These voodoo hearts also have an extra quirk. In the case of it being implanted into someone that is either stunted in magical potential or does not have much potential, the heart magnifies what little potential there is and begins to force the body to learn how to work with a higher potential for magic. One was implanted into Jack, and Immortalis had planned on taking the boy's body for his own once he had grown a few more years with it in his chest, but after the incident with Fajro, Immortalis has decided against it for now. However, if he is killed in his current body, since pain forcibly anchors him, he cannot just 'let go' of it to take on a new host and he will finally die.
If his host has any powers that he knows of, he can take control of those powers as if they were his own. These subjugated powers don't change with him between bodies, however. Powers he wasn't aware of at the moment of possession also get locked out of his use permanently.
Immortalis does not have a theme song. In fact, if he listens to music at all, it's always some form of instrumental melody.Outside of certain things, like things regarding surgery, Immortalis is relatively technology-inept. He's kept Jack away from most forms of technology because of this minus television...and even then, he uses an older model even now.
"...how...how dare you use me like that, you old fart!"Name: Ashanti AkintolaAge: 29Sex: Female
Ashanti once stood at 5'4" and weighed in at 117lbs.
African-born and American-raised, Ashanti is the archetypical warrior soul among heroes who wound up crossing paths with the wrong villain. Originally a hero that saw the world in black and white, she began to see increasing amounts of black after encounters with Voodoo, especially after one particularly scarring scenario..
While not much of her life was known, what is known is her time as a heroine. Within her first year of the profession, Ashanti became known as a powerhouse among heroes, if not the brightest. A few years in, she ran across the only villain that she has ever sworn to burn with her Immortal Flame, one by the name of Voodoo. A descent into madness began after Voodoo pulled some of her hair out of her head and began using them to make dolls geared in directly controlling her. More than once was she forced into vile acts of villainy with her flames, making her burn alive many civilians in more urban areas. After the fifth time this has happened, Fajro completely lost her temper and her sense of morals before seeing out Voodoo's home in Texas and set it ablaze. In the process, she discovered the place had a basement floor, so she melted shut the door and proceeded to fill the underground with her immortal flames via the ventilation shafts. What she had not expected was a young man with almost no clothes left on him and a furred creature to come out by the same door she sealed. The kid said one word, and the canine-like entity put the kid down before proceeding to try to literally tear her to shreds and burn her with her own fire. The hound ultimately did not succeed and she only managed to flee within an inch of her life because the unusual dog refused to stray too far from the boy.Hero InformationAlias: Fajro

Ah, good old-fashioned fire. Capable of igniting the air around her, Fajro made use of it for both offensive and defensive purposes...though mostly for offensive ones.
If she focuses on this, she can force her flames to be impossible to put out unless she wants them out. If a living being is burned with these flames, even if the external flames are gone, the being will still be cooking from the inside out unless she makes the internal heat stop existing. DJ Zuki
Full Name: Lilliana “ Lily” LittlefieldSex: Girl“ Uhhh, that’s gender? Sex is a bedroom fun thing Ya know.”Age: 16Sexuality: Heterosexual“ Give me boobs, I will stab you.”Ethnicity/Race: Meta HumanJob: “ A Job? Is opening my legs a job?”
Lily is of average height(5’6) with a weight of 125 pounds. She has her iPod touch in her pockets of her jean jacket, which if it’s too hot outside, she will wrap it around her waist. Her green tank is a bit small on her, but she never had much of a choice on clothes. The jacket was the only thing she had left from before the exchange of money and her life. Her headphones are always seen around her neck.
“Tattoos and a switchblade attitudeSnakebite heart with a bubblegum smileSex in stereo don't turn the radio dial” Lily is your normal everyday party girl. She never let regrets take her down and flirts with every guy she comes across. With her background of being abused, she is a little distant on how she feels. She never lets people in her heart, or show others her panic attacks, the flashbacks or anything that can be used against her. She may act like she wears her heart on sleeve, but if you are close to her you can see the lies in her wording of her emotions. She lives in the now, instead of the “what if” or the past. Sure, she gets her flashbacks or panic attacks but no one ever witnesses them. She holds herself together until she is able to be alone. There is some darkness inside of Lily, the woman who uses sex and drinks to steal money from a poor sob; the woman who killed when something doesn’t go through or in the name of self-defense. The woman who tends to take things too far on purpose and test the limits. She isn’t scared to call out people on the stupidly around her or scared to shoot anyone down with a knife or a gun. Does she think she is better than anyone else? “ Well, I am good in the sack.” Not in the sense, she is smarter or stronger or faster. She’s more of a watcher and able see the lies in between the words. She’s able to see the hidden messages. Does she want to a be a Villain? She feels more in the gray of good and bad. The fight of Heroes vs Villains. She finds it pointless to fight about one’s moral, but she attending a Villain school because she felt the hero ones around her would treat her like a china doll. A china doll, she isn’t. It’s why she’s allowing her “master” to show her this school. She’s a warrior, not a damn china doll. She wants to get out of this town, and she knows the school is the way to go. In short, Lily is a party girl with a masquerade mask on. But, the question is which mask would you get? The mask of the party girl or the mask of the warrior?
The Worst Gift Ever Lily’s life was normal to tell she turn six years old and she was at her brother’s birthday party. When the Happy Birthday song came on and Lily sang in her little shy voice. Most the pre-teen boys were in this weird daze when she sings. Her mom, Cindy, notice the dazed looks and only seen Lily singing in the group of males. She quickly stops it, and things went back to normal. Cindy had hope that none of her children gain her mutant DNA in safely of her “husband”. She knew her husband was anti-mutant and only married him because she was pregnant with her oldest at 16. Mother’s rules were nice to her. Now, Cindy did the best to protect Lily. But, it was not enough. Daddy’s Love Around Age 10 years, her father learns about her being gifted Instead of being a proud daddy, he does something most fathers would not think to do. Because most fathers are sane right? Not, Lily’s father, Phil, he is not sane and hates Meta Humans. So, he figures out there was a guy. This guy who travels outside of Lowhaven for special little girls or special woman. The guy was known as “ Master”, and use psychic powers to make his “special” woman or girls as sex slaves for anyone in Lowhaven or outside of it. So, Lily became the little star of the cult/trap. She likes to think it as a cult since everyone “loves” master and think it's okay to be f*** by an older man when you're ten years old. The Master uses his psychic powers to force Lily to use her singing powers to attract little boys since it only works on males who in her age group or younger. Power Saver or Power Curse?Around age 12, Lily learn if she has the bow of a violin as well a violin. She is able to heal her wounds from being hit and the emotional abuse from the life she has. How did she get a violin? The Master gave her one to perform for some sellers, and force the knowledge on how to use it the night before. While she became the Lily of the West and got sellers for the Master. She was able to heal herself. She was able to heal the issues of the hell she was in. This started her need to get out of there by any means. Did Master notice the wounds healing? Of course, this gives Lily more attention than she needed. She was burned while being attacked or getting “men” who were into the blood play. Master used her for more dangerous drunk man. Thus, she had to deal with broken bones, hits, and other horrors. But as long she had her trusty violin she will do it. Anything to keep it, she will do it. Runaway Love At the ripe age of sixteen years old, she was forced by the Master to attend some villain school since she is the favorite special woman right now. She is only attending, because this means a break for her body and more likely a chance to breathe a bit to see what she would do. She had the option of staying in Lowhaven for the villain school or go to the outside world. She chose Lowhaven’s school for two reasons. A. She wants to get away from the Master. She knows, she needs skills to do it.B. Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. She does have a goal in mind to kill the Master one day. Might as well, learn how to do it in a villain style on his home turf.
Alias: Siren“You know, I enjoy trapping those sailors.”
Siren’s Song: Lily is able to attract people toward her and making stand still in a daze. Drawbacks: It only works on males. Males in her age group or younger. She needs the beat of the song in order to work. So, she needs to be wearing headphones to hear the beat of the song she is singing. Hearing Distance is also a good thing for her. Violin Heals: When Lily holds the bow in the pose of a violin with said violin in hand. She will be able to heal mental and physical wounds. Drawbacks: She is only able to heal herself. She needs to know the wounds causing problems to the body and given she was on her own 99.9% of the time when the wounds appear hence she only knows her own issues. Thus, she can only heal herself. Is she open to the idea? “ Bite me,” would be the best way to answer this.
Guns: She is able to shoot a gun if one is handed to her. It’s how she killed few people who press her buttons or corner her.Drawbacks: When she enrolls in the school, the master took any guns or weapons from her. Why? “ Because I need be an education in other things. Yes, because taking only weapons I know how to use away is learning.”
“No music anything?! ~Faytl~
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2AC41dglnMName: Kessandra Branwen (Kess)Age: 15Sex: Female Appearance 5’7”/157 lbPersonality- Kess is fond of saying that she is always ready to “go hard,” and she means what she says. She actively badmouths the very idea of the School, and only sticks around because she has plenty of people to practice fighting on without having to deal with the pesky heroes outside Lowhaven.Brash and quick to act, being around Kess is like holding a malfunctioning bomb in your hands: Eventually something explosive will happen and it isn’t necessarily going to be good for you. Kess is ruthless in battle, and enjoys it greatly. Like a rabid dog, she is fond of singling out a single prey and hammers on them until she wins. She is vindictive in general, and holds grudges like nobody else. Daring to slight Kess even once is an invitation for an eternity of hardship.A feeling of great inadequacy drives every action Kess makes. Biography-Kess wasn’t the only one in her family with powers. The heroes in the area were perplexed and worried about who was doing this, as the thugs were beaten to a pulp by Kess, far more than anyone calling themselves a hero had any right to.After this persisted for almost a year, with none of the heroes ever finding out who was at fault, Jason, visiting for Kess’ fourteenth birthday, started badmouthing Kess’ work. Kess responded by blasting him through a wall. She attacked him, wanting desperately to prove she was better than him, stronger, capable of proving she was a worthy hero.Jason had won the fight in five minutes. Bloodied and bruised, Kess lay at his feet, hating him as he refused to kill her, instead turning her over to the will of the heroes of New York. They berated Kess, the loudest and most vocal drowning out the more reasoning ones and condemning her behavior, escorting her to the police to be imprisoned.Kess was saved from jail that day by a relative, and teacher at Center Lowhaven High, a cousin who went by the name of Deadvolt. She spirited Kess away to Lowhaven, to recover.Crushed and defeated, and injured to the point she could barely walk, Kess spent the next six months in a slow recovery. Villain InformationAlias: ThunderclapPowers Electricity generation- Kess has the ability to generate and direct electricity. Kess’ unusual first name is the result of a typo on her birth certificate. The Frost King
My App is done I'm interested in this
“You’re delicate like a rose, but I’m painfully like its thorns.”Name: Thorn HeartsworthAge: 16Gender: Male
