Rules
-All Leaderboard rules apply.
-First to 3 votes or most votes by deadline wins.
-All voters must elaborate on their votes or else the vote will be rejected.
-Both contestants have the right to refuse votes, but must explain why they don't accept it.
-Card C votes are allowed in case the voter thinks both cards don't deserve a vote but must elaborate on why he/she thinks so.
-Cards must be PM'd to me.
-Remove any evidence of the card being made by you to ensure anonymity.
-In case a downtime or an emergency happens, the deadlines may be extended.

Deadlines
-The deadline for cards is 48 hours after challenge has been accepted.
-The deadline for votes is 96 hours (4 days) after cards have been posted.
-In case of a challenger failing to meet the above deadline without explanation, the challenger slot will open up again, at which point it becomes first-come-first-serve between the previous challenger's and new submissions.

Rewards
-The winner gets a rep from the loser.
-All voters get a rep for voting.

Looks like I have to break this one too.

 

Card A is basically the Rank 8 version of Caingorgon that pumps its ATK every time it does so; coupled with redirecting attacks and using other monsters as "meat shields". While there is nothing wrong with it being Caingorgon for R8s, I do feel that the design flavor is lacking there, especially since there is a lack of OPT on it (although it does start off with no ATK upon summoning). That in mind, this card is more/less a defensive Rank 8 and can provide some degree of protection from attacks for other monsters, which is helpful.

 

Card B is pretty much here to enable more Spirit Dragon plays and/or search Chaos MAX upon summon. I don't see them having issues with making this, but I don't see much reason to run this over the other (generic) Rank 8s BEs are capable of running. I guess you could use this to get Maiden out faster, but yeah.

Card A is a generic Rank 8 version of Cairngorgon that also redirects attacks and uses other monsters to protect itself. 

Card B is a Spirit Dragon enabler for BEs for most intents/purposes. 

 

 

To be fair, I'm voting C because I'm skeptical about a better Cairn for R8s (least with no OPT), and not seeing much from B outside of Spirit / Azure-Eyes plays. (I want to vote A because it does more, but I can't ignore its flaws).
