[spoiler=Card A]Astraios Dragon

DARK / Level 8

Dragon / Effect

ATK / 3300 DEF / 1700

While this card is face-up on the field, it is unaffected by Trap Cards. When this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard: Return all Spell/Trap Cards on the field to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Astraios Dragon" once per turn. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it.

[spoiler=Card B]Blue-Eyes Overlay Dragon

LIGHT / Level 8

Dragon/Effect

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. This card can be Special Summoned by banishing 1 LIGHT Tuner Monster from your Graveyard while you control a face-up Level 8 "Blue-Eyes" monster, then immediatly after that: Xyz Summon a Dragon-Type Xyz Monster using this card and another "Blue-Eyes" monster you control as Xyz Materials. This card can be treated as a Normal Monster for the Xyz Summon of a Dragon-Type Monster.

I can't help but feel that anonymity gets hard when someone makes cards for only certain archetypes whenever they can.

Why does Card B have no ATK and DEF? I mean, you're not actually going to be attacking with it, but still. Despite this, this thing does the job well- discard Sage, for example, and you get insta-r8nk, which is pretty sweet. Hell, if you targeted Maiden, you can Synchro into Azure-Eyes or BESD as well. And that isn't a nice field to play against. I can't help but feel this is too strong, considering the sheer speed Blue-Eyes already make r8nks and the power of cards like the Galaxy-Eyes Xyz monsters, Felgrand and others.

Card A faces direct competition from Arkbrave and the newer Felgrand monster as well as indirect competition from -Eyes Dragons. It also breaks the law of 3000 (!), which is something. Compared to Arkbrave, it has enough attack not to worry about lacking a boost effect and while bouncing isn't as good as banishing, it lets  you reuse your own Spell and Trap cards, for example Call of The Haunted and co. The MST effect is neat as this thing is a Trade-In target or you could just discard it for Melody. Unlike Arkbrave and Lord Felgrand, it can't revive other Dragons and lacks -Eyes Dragon archetype support and can't be searched by Melody, all of which are substantial hits.

Card A is good, but suffers from not being as easy to search as others while Card B extends Blue-Eyes plays to dangerous levels. Voting for Card A.

Card A is one of the very few cards that breaks the unspoken "Rule of 3000 ATK", which isn't bad, but maybe a bit too high for what it can do (not like Dragon monsters aren't known for their sheer power anyway). But yeah, this thing being immune to Bottomless and other common Traps does this a few favors, coupled with said 3300 ATK. Granted, as the above user mentioned, Melody can't search this card because DEF is too low and it just bounces the S/T cards away as opposed to blowing them up / banishing like Arkbrave. In essence, it's basically an on-summon Trunade and blows up something (S/T) when it dies, which is nice. For what it's worth, ditch this with Ravine/Foolish/Trade-In, then revive it later via Gospel of Revival (or whatever its English name is now) or Darkness Metal among other things. So yeah, it's a nice card but has its own share of shortcomings.

Card B really pushes Blue-Eyes farther than they should be going, and that's not a good thing. Ideal use for this card is yeah, trigger off Sage to SS a Blue-Eyes of choice (either OG or White Spirit Dragon to banish an S/T; or can be SS'd via Sage's effect in the Deck), then summon this and Rank 8 into whatever you want. I do need to ask WHERE is this card being summoned from in the first place; as it stands, can imply anywhere (I'll assume it's the hand for the time being, but yeah). I suppose it also lets Blue-Eyes go into Thunder End Dragon if they even run it. Doing some test runs off Blue-Eyes in recent days, yeah they can/will Rank 8 like mad and giving them more ways to do it is pushing them over the edge.

Voting A in this case.
