LORE:While your opponent controls a Special Summoned monster: You can Special Summon this card from yiur hand. You can pay 800 Life Points; Special Summon 1 Fiend or Zombie-Type monster with a different name from your hand or Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Reaper of Origin" once per turn.

Other than that, I actually really like this card. In the current format, summoning this is pretty easy, because when does an opponent not have a Special Summoned monster? Its effect is pretty good, as 800 lifepoints for a grave special compliments the strategies of those decks. Teamed up with Grepher, you can get some plays. I don't really see any decks that can break this. As far as I know, Burning Abyss wouldn't be able to abuse this. Over all I like it.

Thanks. I'll be sure to fix it afterwards. I wanted to get in some generic Fiend and Zombie-Type support.

@Cherz: Well BA can't use this because of their self-destruct clause (after you summon them, they blow up); if they didn't have it, then yeah they'd probably use it as Xyz fodder along with Virgil or something to make Beatrice (but I think they already make her via Dante otherwise).

On another note (for Nyx), you should make this card's inherent Special Summon a hard OPT. Right now, most, if not all Decks (with exceptions) do have SS'd monsters out most of the time, and as-is, it's basically a limitless CyDra that can fuel Rank 6 stuff (or really, a 25/0 monster that revives things for a small price). Otherwise, it should be fine; I could probably recommend lowering its ATK slightly (2200-2300 should be fine), given its free SS and ability to revive.

You do know that Rank 6 hardly have anything worth Summoning (if at all).

Rank 6 has Beatrice, 24, Strike Bounzer, M7 (probably 1-2 more that I didn't mention), but yes, that's about it for generics that actually do something.

But either way, you should still make its inherent summon hard OPT. I had to mark down someone in the CC monthly for similar design (free 2500 ATK monster that otherwise has a power effect).

I can make it a hard "once per turn" effect, but I'll keep the ATK the same.

Yeah give it a Hard SS Opt on itself so it cant spam itself for safety measures.

Other than that, I think the most fun application this has is in Dark Worlds, you can easily dig for it with the amount of draw power they have and if you use this on a dark world then you can bounce it to summon Grapha, so you can make a +2 off of it which is kinda cool ^^

The card really isnt overpowered but it's definitely on the powerful side but it isnt exactly a bad thing.

Nice card, i like it ^^

Um...it can't Summon copies of itself.

Oh i see what "other name" means now, okay i was being blind x.x

i'd still give it a hard SS OPT since summoning it more than once a turn could give you too many plusses in my opinion

Fair enough. Looking back, I'd say the bigger concern isn't setting up Xyz plays; most of them (if not all of them) are awful. I'd say the bigger concern is Synchro plays, as this can bring back cards like Plaguespreader Zombie.

But, whatever. Card's "once per turn" clause has been altered.
