YCM's Seasonal Anime Character Tournament - Spring 2015

 

[spoiler=Rules]-All YCM rules apply
-You can pick 1 favorite character from each anime you've watched that debuted in the Spring 2015 season
-All nominations will participate in a tournament
-All nominations must be in by 12 AM EDT April 27th (just about 5 days from now)
-If there are less than 32 characters in by the last day, the people who've already nominated can nominate 4 more characters each, ignoring the limit on what anime the characters are from, until there are 32 characters in (afterwards, only people that haven't nominated can nominate)
-Matches can end by a mercy ruling, if one character is 5 or more votes ahead of the other
-I'll try to make the votes public. If I forget you can even kick my butt, but no making me ded.
-This is how the first round will be randomized if the number of contestants is 17-31 or more than 32. The only difference will be another round(s) if there is more than 32.

Was going to say something right after the first round started and forgot (not for too long, at least). Like it says in the rules, I used random.org because there wasn't a normal tournament number of contestants (that way, everyone is in the first round). The reason this isn't always used is quite simple (I don't think I actually explained it yet). Using Challonge is simply easier. But like I said, when it can't be done so everyone is in round 1 on Challonge (at least I think it can't be) I use different means.

 

One more thing, with 44, 12 matches need to be 3P. Those will be the first 4, the middle 4, and the last 4. Arigatou-pri for reading.

I had a sudden realization. I should have realized this before, but somehow didn't: I don't even need to use random.org (not for this anyway). I can just do what I do when I have ties on Challonge and not enter who wins until after the next round. Pri simple way of doing it, but it should work (so I just entered who we have left into there and that's it).
