TF2_The_Scout Posted October 20, 2015 Report Share Posted October 20, 2015 A short time ago, I created Forgotten Light Dragon, but then got the idea to attempt to make an archetype with it. This is just a small sample of the Forgotten Light archetype. I might expand on it. [spoiler=main deck monsters] If you control 2 or more LIGHT Tokens: You can special summon this card from your hand. While this card is face-up, all Tokens on the field become LIGHT. If this card is used as material in the Synchro Summoning of a "Forgotten Light" monster: You can add 1 "Forgotten Light" card from your deck to hand. When this card is summoned: You can special summon 1 "Light Token"(Level 3/LIGHT/Dragon-Type/ATK: 1500 DEF: 0) in Attack Position. If this card is used as Synchro Material in the synchro summoning of a "Forgotten Light" monster: It cannot be targeted by the effects of monsters until your next turn. When this card is summoned: You can special summon 1 "Light Token"(Level 3/LIGHT/Dragon-Type/ATK: 1500 DEF: 0). Once per turn: You can tribute this card; Special summon 2 "Light Tokens". During your standby phase, if this card is in the graveyard because it was sent there last turn by this card's effect: you can special summon it in defense position. If your opponent activates a card effect that would target or destroy a "Forgotten Light" monster you control: You can discard this card; Negate that effect and return the card to hand. You can banish this card from your graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Forgotten Light" monster from your graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Ghost of Forgotten Light" once per turn. [spoiler=spells] Your opponent cannot activate normal trap cards or monster effects in response to the synchro summoning of a "Forgotten Light" monster. When you synchro summon a "Forgotten Light" monster: Draw 1 card, then place 1 Light Counter on this card. Synchro monsters you control gain 200 ATK and DEF for each Light Counter on this card(max. 5). If this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard: Add 1 "Forgotten Light" card from your deck to hand. If you do not control a "Forgotten Light" Synchro monster, destroy this card. You can special summon 1 "Light Token" (LIGHT/Dragon-Type/Level 3/ATK: 1500 DEF: 0). You can discard 1 card; Special summon 1 LIGHT Tuner monster from your graveyard. You can only use each effect of "Beacon of Forgotten Light" once per turn. [spoiler=synchro] 1 LIGHT Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner TokensWhen this card is Synchro Summoned: You can special summon 1 LIGHT Tuner monster from your hand in Defense Position. You can only activate this effect of "Paladin of Forgotten Light" once per turn. If you control a LIGHT Token, this card cannot be destroyed. Once per turn: You can destroy 1 Token you control and target 1 card your opponent controls; Destroy it. 1 LIGHT Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner TokensWhen this card is Synchro Summoned: You can pay 1000 LP; Special summon 1 LIGHT Tuner monster from your deck. You can special summon 1 "Light Token"(Dragon-Type/LIGHT/Level 3/ATK: 1500 DEF: 0) to your side of the field in defense position. The Nyx Avatar Posted October 22, 2015 Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 Aside from Fox, most of the monsters seem fair. Fox seems like it can keep spamming Tokens. The Spell Cards seem oddly specific, but fair. Both of the Synchro Monsters seem fairly balanced. However, none of them seem to be able to defend themselves.
