Draconus297
Prompt:An Aqua-Type archetype that, generally speaking, has rather low ATK and DEF; battles are not really their thing. However, they all either inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points, or increase your Life Points. In addition, many can kidnap your opponent's monsters. Uniting these diverse themes is a single Field Spell, which heals you when you harm your opponent and harms your opponent when you heal, both only by other effects; and a Continuous Spell that lets you Tribute monsters for sizable Life Point boosts. Instead of an Extra Deck, have a boss with a distinctly Hundred-Eyes/Vennominon-like flavor, making up for the archetype's stat weakness, and the frightening ability to use the effects of other Yuki Onna monsters in your Graveyard once each per turn. Essentially, what I really wanted to do was make the Aroma gimmick and a minor burn gimmick viable in combination, with a few monster stealing members mixed in. So, I had to look over what could be done without utterly breaking the archetype. The archetype is mostly complete and cohesive at this point. The monsters are named thus:Healing- Cold or ice-based foodDamage- natural ice phenomenaStealing- generic Japanese girl's names [spoiler= Monsters]Yuki Onna RaspadoWATER - Level 3 - Aqua/Effect - 800/600During each End Phase, increase your Life Points by the combined Level of all "Yuki Onna" monsters you control times 100. If your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Yuki Onna GelatoWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1200/1400When you Summon a "Yuki Onna" monster, increase your Life Points by that monster's ATK on the field. If, during your End Phase, this is the only "Yuki Onna" monster you control, you can increase your Life Points by this monster's current ATK. If you control no "Yuki Onna" monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard. Yuki Onna PopsicleWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1300/1300When a Spell Card or the effect of a Spell Card (except a Field Spell Card) is activated, increase your Life Points by 300. If this monster is Special Summoned by the effect of a Spell Card, increase your Life Points by 500. If your Life Points are increased, you can add 1 "Yuki Onna" monster from your Deck to your hand. Yuki Onna CreamWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1100/1500Once per turn, when a "Yuki Onna" monster you control is targeted for a card's effect: negate that effect, banish that card, and increase your Life Points by 200. If your Life Points are increased, all "Yuki Onna" monsters you control gain 200 ATK and DEF. Yuki Onna MochiWATER - Level 3 - Aqua/Effect - 600/900If your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. If this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Yuki Onna" monster from your Deck, except "Yuki Onna Mochi". If a "Yuki Onna" monster battles, increase your Life Points by the ATK of the attacking monster. Yuki Onna SleetWATER - Level 3 - Aqua/Effect - 1000/800When a WATER monster enters the Graveyard, inflict 300 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this monster is sent from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if you inflict damage to your opponent, you can Special Summon 1 "Yuki Onna" monster from your Graveyard. Yuki Onna HailWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1500/900When a "Yuki Onna" monster is Summoned successfully, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to half that monster's original ATK. If you control 2 or more "Yuki Onna" monsters, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Yuki Onna Icicle WATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1400/1300If your Life Points are higher than your opponent's, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. When a "Yuki Onna" monster you control battles your opponent's monster, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the original ATK of the attacking monster. Yuki Onna Blizzard WATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1300/1600When a Trap Card or the effect of a Trap Card is activated, inflict 200 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this monster is Special Summoned by the effect of a Trap Card, inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points. Yuki Onna Iceberg WATER - Level 6 - Aqua/Effect - 2100/1800You can Special Summon this monster from your hand by destroying 1 "Yuki Onna" monster you control. If a "Yuki Onna" monster you control, except "Yuki Onna Iceberg", inflicts effect damage to your opponent's Life Points, inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If your opponent takes 1500 or more damage from card effects in a turn, you can Special Summon 2 "Yuki Onna" monsters with a combined Level of 6 from your Deck or Graveyard (you can only activate this effect of "Yuki Onna Iceberg" once per turn). Yuki Onna NatsumiWATER - Level 2 - Aqua/Effect - 500/500If this monster is Special Summoned, draw 1 card. If that card is a Level 4 or lower WATER monster, select and activate 1 of the following effects:●Special Summon that monster. ●Your opponent gives control of 1 monster they control to you.●Shuffle 2 WATER monsters from your Graveyard into your Deck and increase your Life Points by 2000. Yuki Onna ReiWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1200/1200If you gain 1000 or more Life Points by the effect of a "Yuki Onna" card, you can destroy this face-up monster: your opponent selects one monster they control, and control of that monster switches to you. During the End Phase of a turn this monster was destroyed, except by its own effect: You can Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard. Yuki Onna ChiyoWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1300/1300If you inflict 1000 or more damage to your opponent's Life Points by the effect of a "Yuki Onna" card, you can destroy this monster to target 1 monster your opponent controls: control of that monster switches to you. During the End Phase of a turn this monster was destroyed, except by its own effect: You can Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard. Yuki Onna ShioriWATER - Level 4 - Aqua/Effect - 1400/1000When the effect of a "Yuki Onna" monster you control activates, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. During either player's turn, you can destroy this face-up monster: control of the monster your opponent controls with the highest ATK switches to you, but its effect is negated. You can only activate each effect of "Yuki Onna Shiori" once per turn. Yuki Onna NadeshikoWATER - Level 7 - Aqua/Effect - 2400/2000If this monster destroys your opponent's monster by battle, Special Summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field in Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. If this monster is destroyed, banish all monsters on the field Special Summoned by this effect. Yuki Onna Sumire, Deity of SnowWATER - Level 9 - Aqua/Effect - 800/800Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. You can Special Summon this monster (from your hand or Graveyard) by destroying 2 "Yuki Onna" monsters you control. This monster gains 400 ATK and DEF for every Aqua-Type monster and "Yuki Onna" Spell/Trap card in the Graveyard. If this monster would be sent to the Graveyard, including as cost for an effect, you can send 1 "Yuki Onna" monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard instead. Once per turn, you can target 1 Aqua-Type monster in your Graveyard, reveal it to your opponent, and shuffle it into your Deck: this monster gains that monster's effect and name until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn. Yuki Onna of the Deep Blizzard WATER - Rank 4 - Aqua/Xyz/Effect - 2300/18002 Level 4 Aqua-Type monstersOnce per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to add 1 Aqua-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. [spoiler=Spells]Yuki Onna Mountain Field Spell When your Life Points are increased by a card effect, except the effect of "Yuki Onna Mountain": inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the amount your Life Points were increased by. bumpalumpa
This deck looks like it could be pretty degenerate in some ways. A lot of the Level 4s can freely summon themselves for Rank 4 spam, and many of the burn cards have no real limit on their effects, so they can end up in major FTKs. Also, Gathering Snow is straight-up broken, with literally EVERYTHING being searchable.
Draconus297
The only Level 4s that Special Summon themselves are Hail, Icicle, and Shiori, and two already require frontrow presence to do that- Hail needs 2 members, Shiori needs an effect to go off. Icicle can be brought out if your LP are higher, but you'll probably use Yuki Onna to accomplish that in this Deck. Most of the archetype isn't all that great, I'll admit, which is part of why Gathering isn't broken- a searcher for cards that suck could search for 3 of the card and still be meh. Regarding FTK, that's the danger with any burn deck, so . . . Unless there's a significant issue you can possibly name a fix to, I don't see the need to edit unnecessarily. The Nyx Avatar
The cards seem fair for the most part. What was your original intention for the Life Points (or at least how they'd go with archetype as a whole). It seems somewhat reminiscent of "Aroma" and "Wind-Up Magician", due to triggering the effects at certain scenarios. However, some of these cards just seem kind of random. As for its boss monster, would you consider calling it "Yuki-Onna Priestess", "Yuki-Onna Tormenta", "Yuki-Onna Judge", "Yuki-Onna Pandora", or "Yuki-Onna Sumire, Deity of Snow"? Draconus297
For the Life Points, it's essentially meant to keep your Life Points at absurdly high levels (if you can't tech Ra, you're doing it wrong), and burn your opponent's away so fast they think they're in an episode of ZeXal. The monster-stealing was mandated, and I did what I could. I'll take that last one. So, what seems random? Maybe I can make certain outliers more cohesive. Also, how can I word Iceberg's effect so it can't cause endless burn when Sumire steals its effect in the Graveyard?

Draconus297
The problem is that it's meant to be Dark Room of Nightmare on legs, to speed up the Deck's kinda low damage potential. If I gave it even a soft OPT, I'd lessen its impact to the point of rendering it worthless.

Draconus297
I ask this a lot with the projects I'm prouder of- Can anyone think of a cohesive Yuki Onna deck, especially now that I sped it up by changing a few effects?
