Make a WATER Dragon-Type Xyz Monster

Card A

 

 

2 Level 4 monsters

Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase 1 or 2: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; your opponent cannot activate a card or effect until the end of that Main Phase. When a monster is Normal Summoned, destroy this card unless you detach 1 Xyz Material from 1 Xyz Monster you control.

 

Card B

 

 

2 Level 5 WATER monsters
If "A Legendary Ocean" is face-up on the field, you can also Xyz Summon this card by using 2 Level 4 WATER monsters you control as the Xyz Material. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Gain LP equal to the damage inflicted. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell Card: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Sebek's Wrath" once per turn.

As a sidenote, do expect to see the loser bracket matches for a while after main one concludes.

 

[Northern Sage]

A is stupid. It's a floodgate that stops the opponent from doing anything except Normal and Pendulum Summoning during the Main Phase. Oh yeah, and it can stop the opponent from responding at all in your Main Phase. To counter, it can lose all its Xyz Materials and self-destruct quickly, but if you have multiple Xyz Monsters on the field, this becomes trivial. It's a mini-Shock Master on steroids.

B should really have listed Umi instead for flexibility. Relying on just ALO can be a bit problematic. It's a beater with two decent offensive effects. The chance to produce it with Level 4s under certain conditions doesn't really hurt.
