BT
[spoiler=Alternate Artwork] When this card is activated, if you have no cards in your other PendulumZone: You can place 1 "Wightknight" from your Deck in your Pendulum Zone. You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Wight" and "SkullServant" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can target 1 banished"Wight" or "Skull Servant" monster; return it to the Graveyard. The effect of"Wightknight" can only be used once per turn. Unless you have"Wightknight" in your other Pendulum Zone, this card's Pendulum Scalebecomes 4. A skeletal ghost, this knight protects its king, even from the grave. (This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard.)
WaffleCone
The pendulum summoning isn't incredibly useful to Skull Servants, but seeing as it's 1 card to set up both scales, it can add a nice touch, helping you get out more Kings and letting you Summon your Lady in Wights in defense position. The return to grave from banished zone effect is also very useful, helping mitigate the banishing costs of other cards used in the archetype like Wighprince. The only major issue with the card I see is that it stops you from special summoning all non-Wight/SkullServant monsters, which would hold back the rest of the zombie engine Skull Servants tend to use, personally I would just change it to limit Pendulum Summons to Wight/SkullServant cards, not all Special Summons to Wight/SkullServant cards. It's high level is also a bit awkward, as its inability to pendulum Summon itself within its own scales leaves it permanently stranded in the extra deck if destroyed on the field unless the deck runs more scales, which it has no reason to do, perhaps nerf its stats and make it a level 3 to more fit amongst the other Wight cards.Other than that, its great, providing useful support to Wights without acting as more graveyard filler itself, as as a pendulum its sent to the extra instead. WaffleCone
if it can have 2200 DEF, why not ATK? I'll make it 300, 200 soonIt breaches the "2000 rule" of no level 4 or lower monster having over 2000 ATK without a negative effect or summoning limitation. BT
Alternate Artwork added (This was done because of copyright problems in dA and someone gave me this art to use so I added it here)Also, I didn't mention this but this is the first card made with my updated OCG Template
Saiba Aisu
Lovely to see some well-done support for Skull Servant/Wights in a modern context. I much prefer the current artwork over the alternate one.
