Card A.

FCeNLTh.jpg

Once per turn, if a Fiend-type monster(s) you control is Tributed for a Tribute Summon, or used as a Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Material: You can target 1 face-up card on the field; return it to the hand. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Dark Awakening" per turn, and only once that turn.
-During either player's Main Phase: You can discard 1 Fiend-type monster, then target 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard; shuffle it into the Deck.
-During either player's End Phase, if a Fiend-type monster(s) was sent from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard this turn: You can banish 1 of those monsters; add 1 monster with the same Type and Level from your Deck to your hand.

based on the roles this archetype plays in the story http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fabled

specifically the moment their Gods are awoken to perpetuate chaos on the world

Card B:

High Ritual Art

Ritual Spell Card

Reveal 1 Ritual Monster in your hand, then target any number of monsters whose combined Levels/Ranks equal the Level of the revealed monster and with the same Attribute and type in your Graveyard; Special Summon those targets with their effects negated, then immediately Ritual Summon the Ritual Monster using only those cards. You cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn. During either player’s turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can reveal 1 Ritual Monster in your hand; Place this card on top of your deck. You can only activate 1 effect of ”High Ritual Art” per turn, and only once that turn.

Desperately using whatever resources available to call forth Ritual Monsters to aid in the Summoning of Sophia…

Let's see here:

Card A, given the way it's worded, triggers Burning Abyss A LOT; especially if they make Dante (Xyz or Fusion) or go into Virgil.

Basically, make their bosses + bounce stuff.

Discard one of them and shuffle the Graveyard, then proceed to trigger whatever BA that got discarded. Or you can opt to search more of them by banishing them (although it is counterproductive for them, if I remember their playstyle properly).

There are other Fiend Decks besides BAs, yes, although I do have to point out possible abusers of this card, and BAs would likely have a field day with this.

--------

In card B's case, I suppose you can use it in Nekroz as a 4th Mirror or something.

While using Xyzs will sort of mess up the Ritual mechanic, it's not too much of a problem in that Deck; given there exist no WATER Xyz monsters that Nekroz can even use realistically. (There's C73 for Brionac or something, but he has no place in there; especially after Brio got Semi'd.)

For Nekroz, it's a more situational version of Mirror; though I can probably see this helping you to Ritual Summon some of the higher ones that have more of a "pain in the neck" summon conditions. Of course, you do need to weigh if the SS lock is worth having, especially given their nature as VERY SS-heavy. Although yes, it does afford them a degree of SSing ability without having to rely on their own Ritual Spells.

BUT, there are certainly more Decks that can use this besides Nekroz.

Provided they are still relevant, you could use this in Heralds for Perfection/Ultimateness or something, provided you don't care about the SS lock.

Likely some other Decks that I didn't mention (I would say the new BLS support could play this, but Super Soldier is EARTH and the chibis are LIGHT/DARK).

So yeah, right now, Nekroz and Heralds are the only things that I can see you using with this.

Maybe Hieratics can use this to go into Sapphy (they certainly fulfill the conditions and stuff); provided they're competent enough to run nowadays in the midst of all the new stuff. But yeah, they are also SS oriented + losing access to that for a turn isn't particularly helpful.

--------

I'm going to give my vote to card B this time.

Card A is certainly usable, but its interactions with BA is something I'm not fond about; given how they trigger.
