The Nyx Avatar
I made an archetype utilizing Union monsters that Tribute your opponent's monsters to Special Summon themselves to your opponent's side of the field; then, you can take control of them with the Tuner monsters you Normal Summon. Let me know on how I can improve upon this archetype, what cards need fixing, ect.
LORE:You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Automaton" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Any monster equipped with this card is unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap effects. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.) LORE:You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Automaton" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Any monster equipped with this card is unaffected by your opponent's Effect Monster effects. During your Main Phase, if this card is in your hand and you have no "Automaton Puppet Master" monsters in your hand, you can reveal your hand, then shuffle this card into your Deck; add 1 "Automaton Puppet Master" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect once per turn, and only once during that turn. Any monster equipped with this card is unaffected by your opponent's Trap and monster effects. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.) You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position, by Tributing 2 monsters they control. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "Automaton" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. Any monster equipped with this card cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.) LORE:When this card is Normal Summoned, you can take control of 1 "Automaton Doll" monster your opponent controls; during the End Phase, if it is still in your Monster Card Zone, destroy it. LORE:When this card is Normal Summoned, you can take control of 1 "Automaton Doll" monster your opponent controls; it cannot declare an attack. During your Main Phase, if this card is in your hand and you have no "Automaton Doll" monsters in your hand, you can reveal your hand, then shuffle this card into your Deck; add 1 "Automaton Doll" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this effect once per turn, and only once during that turn. LORE:When this card is Normal Summoned, you can take control of 1 "Automaton Doll" monster your opponent controls; during the End Phase, if it is still in your Monster Card Zone, send it to the Graveyard..

LORE:Add 1 "Automaton" monster from your Deck to your hand. LORE:While this card is face-up on the field, you cannot Summon or Set monsters, except "Automaton" monsters. "Automaton" monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects. "Automaton" monsters equipped with an "Automaton Doll" Union monster gain ATK equal to the original ATK of the "Automaton Doll" Union monster they are equipped with. LORE:Activate 1 of the following effects: ● Target 1 "Automaton" monster you control; it is unaffected by other Spell/Trap effects this turn. ● Target 1 "Automaton" monster; it gains 800 ATK until the End Phase.

LORE:Special Summon 1 "Automaton" monster from your Graveyard; it cannot declare an attack this turn. LORE:Send 1 "Automaton Doll" card from your side of the field to the Graveyard; destroy up to two cards on the field. If the "Automaton Doll" card you sent was Special Summoned from your Extra Deck, you can destroy all monsters or Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls instead.

LORE:1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Machine-Type monsters Cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap effects. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster in your Graveyard; equip it to this card. (This is treated as a Union equipment by the equipped monster's own effect.) During either player's turn, if your opponent would Special Summon a monster: You can send 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard; negate the Summon, and if you do, destroy that card. LORE:1 "Automaton Puppet Master" Tuner monster + 1 or more "Automaton Doll" non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster from your Graveyard; equip it to this card. If this card was Synchro Summoned using a DARK Tuner monster, it is unaffected by your opponent's Trap effects. If your opponent would activate a Spell/Trap Card, you can send 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard; negate the Summon and destroy the card. LORE:1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Machine-Type monsters Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Synchro Summon cannot be negated. When Synchro Summoned, cards and effects (other than its own) cannot be activated. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster in your Graveyard; equip it to this card. (This is treated as a Union equipment by the equipped monster's own effect.) During either player's turn, if your opponent would activate a card effect: You can send 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, send that card to the Graveyard and draw 1 card. LORE:1 "Automaton Doll" monster + 1 "Automaton Puppet Master" monster Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. This card’s original ATK and DEF are each equal to half the combined original ATK of the Fusion Material Monsters used for the Fusion Summon of this card. Nightmare Stomper
The Spell cards are perfectly fair game, and help accelerate this archetype in itself. Strings of recovery: Special Summon 1 "Automaton" monster from your Graveyard. It cannot declare an attack this turn. I like this effect, even if it is a slow trap card. This would be a common that most people would play no more than one of. Doll Oblivion, however, is kind of ridiculous... If you want it to only work on the Extra Deck monsters, do like EL-Shaddolls; restrict that title only to the extra deck. But even then, you're losing a high-level monster, so it's warranted to do massive damage. This card is really dirty, and would be a two or three-of; kind of like fire lake. Send 1 "Automaton Doll" card from your side of the field to the Graveyard; destroy all face-up cards your opponent controls. ------- As for the monsters, it will take me a while longer to review all of the correct OCG and rulings for the control-swapping. But it's gonna do weird stuff to the card text. Extra Deck: Automaton Puppet Master - Ruigi A fascinating card with a huge level for what it does, but I see the appeal. The stun it presents is absolutely incredible. For the purpose of simplicity, we shall simplify the summoning conditions. I like this card, it grants recursion and control. Its protection gives it some lasting board presence. Nice. 1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Macine-Type monsters Cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap effects. Hybrid Kage I like this card. I've given it protection from monsters to make it the counterbalance of the previous card. Essentially, these monsters both grant ONE negation - which is all you should need before you can push to game. The goal of this deck seems to be to use your opponent's resources against them, and that's exactly what happens here. Nice 1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Macine-Type monsters Cannot be targeted or destroyed by the effects of effect monsters. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster in your Graveyard; equip it to this card. (This is treated as a Union equipment by the equipped monster's own effect.) During either player's turn, if your opponent would activate a Spell/Trap card: You can send 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. Puppet Master - Esile Dude, you botched the effect here really badly. Now tell me, how could a synchro monster EVER be Normal Summoned? :P 1 "Automaton Puppet Master" Tuner monster + 1 or more "Automaton Doll" non-Tuner monstersThis card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Synchro Summon, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster from your Graveyard; equip it to this card. This card is unaffected by your opponent's card effects the turn it is Syncrho Summoned. Your opponent takes no damage from battles involving this card. If your opponent would activate a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect, you can send 1 "Automaton Doll" Union Monster equipped to this card to the Graveyard; negate the effect and destroy the card. Alright, here's my ocg and my opinion; I feel like the boss-ish monster deserves to make you go plus. Now upon Spell/Trap/Card effect activation, your negation makes you go plus 2 (technically), which is good for your best monster. Look at Yang Zing synchro monsters. Dammnnn. 'Nuff said. 1 Spellcaster-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Macine-Type monsters Must be Synchro Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Hybrid Elise - Well, this card can become a huge beatstick. And it's indestructible. As you have it set up, this card can easily have 4+ K attack, which isn't good when you're playing a Limiter Removal. Much more reasonable like this. 1 "Automaton Doll" monster + 1 "Automaton Puppet Master" monster Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. This card’s original ATK and DEF are each equal to half the combined original ATK of the Fusion Material Monsters used for the Fusion Summon of this card.
