Voting is based on the functions they have in the game, meaning that you should talk about the effect, stats etc. Both I and the opponent have the right to decline your vote based on your comment or ask for further reasoning if either contestant feels that it's not adequate. Both contestants can disagree with the others acceptance of the vote if they feel that the answer was no adequate. Rules and Rewards: All YCM and 1v1 Leaderboard rules apply. First to 3 votes OR whoever has most votes when the contest ends wins. 30 Points from the loser of the contest. Must fit in the rules of realistic cards on this site. Entry Requirements and Theme: Make a card that would support the Cyber Dragon Archetype. Must be written OR made in YCM and remember to make sure that it's not possible to see who made the card, i.e. remove your name from it. Send a PM to me with your card and remember to include text. Other information is optional. Deadline: Entries are due 2 days after the challenger is accepted. Votes are due 3 days after it's open. I like the Cyber Dragons, so I though "Why not?" And now we're here. [spoiler=Card A] If a "Cyber Dragon" monster is Special Summoned while this card is in your Graveyard (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Dragon Vier" once per turn.[/spoiler] [spoiler=Card B] When this monster is Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 card whose name is "Cyber Dragon" from your Graveyard. When an opponent's monster destroys this card by battle: You can target 1 card on the field and destroy it. This card's name is treated as "Cyber Dragon" while Face-Up on the field. -Noel- Posted October 25, 2014 Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 Hmm, so we have a Tuner that SS itself as soon as CyDra reached the field either on its own condition, Core or Network, and a bad favor and OP card that SS a CyDra and whatever sharing its name from the Grave on any kind of Summon and pop something when it dies by battle? I think Card A is good at giving the Deck Synchro access and the lack of CyDra naming clause just help to prevent the brokenness that could be found in Card B. Yes, brokenness. Not only you easily prepare the Fusion Material for Twin/End by having the CyDra name and get another CyDra, but your SS effect can be trigger of any kind of Summon and not restricted to OPT, which killed your chance of winning. Duel Emperor Posted October 25, 2014 Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 I vote for card B. Card A cannot change its name to Cyber Dragon and that killed the card. Sure you can Synchro Summon a Level 5/7/8 with that, but why bothering Synchro when you can just go into Cyber Twin and end the game with 5600 double attacker? Card B totally help that, it let you Summon anything with Cyber Dragon's name from the Graveyard which can also used to bring out a Cyber Twin and end the game. Card B, as -Noel- pointed, has a Special Summon effect that triggers on any kind of Summon and not limited to once per turn, which mean it can be used again and again by revival effects and generate an infinite advantage. forteller Posted October 27, 2014 Report Share Posted October 27, 2014 i liked card b until i saw it was treated as cyber dragon while in play that seems kinda nuts on top of the other stuff it does. it has 3 effects that are all good for the archtype but there too easy to trigger for a monster than has no cost to summon if it had any 2 of the 3 effect it would have my vote.
