Voting: Votes must be with valid reasoning, going "Card A wins" won't do, follow the Leaderboard rules! Voting is based on the functions they have in the game, meaning that you should talk about the effect, stats etc. Good votes gets a rep from me, opponent's rep is optional. Both I and the opponent had the right to decline your vote based on your comment or ask for further reasoning if either contestant feels that it's not adequate. Both contestants can disagree with the others acceptance of the vote if they feel that the answer was no adequate. Rules and Rewards: All YCM and 1v1 Leaderboard rules apply. First to 3 votes or whoever has most votes when the contest ends wins. Winner gets a rep from the opponent, other rewards are optional. Entry Requirements and Theme: Make Legacy Support for an non-current Archetype Must be written OR made in YCM and remember to make sure that it's not possible to see who made the card, i.e. remove your name from it. Send a PM to me with your card and remember to include text. Other information is optional. Deadline: Opponent sign-up date: 19th of October at 00:00 CET. Contest end date: 19th of October at 00:00 CET. [spoiler=Card A] If this card is in your hand: You can target 1 face-up "Scrap" monster you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon this card. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 "Scrap" card in your Graveyard; shuffle that target into your Deck. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Card B] 1 WIND Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner WIND monstersWhen this card is Synchro Summoned, you can target up to 2 cards on the field and return them to the hand, then this card gains 200 ATK for each card returned this way. Once, while this card is face-up on the field, you can target 1 card on the field and return it to the hand. If you have 2 or more "Mist Valley" monsters face-up on your side of the field or in your Graveyard, you can activate this effect during either player's turn. Spinny Posted October 12, 2014 Report Share Posted October 12, 2014 Mist support is always nice, not sure how much play it would see but it's effect suits them regardless ^^ Honestly i think paladin is just a bad orthros, less attack and cant destroy itself with its effect, doesnt recycle to hand. Not only is it a free Special Summon, but it also triggers their recycle effects. It's not even once per turn, so I can see the combos just exploding. I don't like that. At all. Card B: Well, it's a damn powerful card. Double bounce + another bounce that can be a Quick Effect, though it's Level is probably what is holding it back, since not a lot can really make that without using too many resources, unless you play something like, maybe Dragunity since they can make Synchros pretty quick, but eh, it still just takes a lot of work to get out. Still, it's free, it has a ton of ATK and no downsides, and unlike Mist Wurm, it's quite strong as well. So, I am thinking about going with neither here, but Card B does seem like it can't be abused THAT much. I'll go with Card B. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maeriberii Haan Posted October 15, 2014 Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 As others have said, Paladin is another Orthros practically, which is kinda.....really, overkill. the recycle effect is neat, but in the end, Orthros's add to hand effect is better. Dragun's second effect's condition to make it a Pleiades is laughable. Should've stated more since chances are, you summoning it already fills the quota for it to be active.
