Card A:

Target 1 face-up FIRE monster your opponent controls; apply 1 of these effects. You can only activate 1 "Volcanic Dragon Tamer" per turn.
● Send 1 FIRE monster from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard, then that target lose ATK equal to its Level/Rank x 200.
● Banish 2 FIRE monsters from your Graveyard, and if you do, return that target to the hand and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
● Send 2 "Volcanic" monsters from your hand and/or your side of the field to the Graveyard, and if you do, take control of that target.

Card B:

During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster in your hand. Neither player can Set monsters.

I vote for Card B. Card A is situational and in the current format would do nothing, aswell as not really doing much other than removing that monster and its name indicates that it would be a monster, i dislike that its a spell for that reason.Card B has a flavorful name and effect and also supports Beast-warrior Koaki's ( the favored Type of koakis for me).

Card B gets the Vote.

I vote for card A. Card B is a floodgate that kill many decks just by standing there. I simply hate that type of cards. Being a Beast-Warrior also made it searchable by Tenki, and I think that's too easy for a floodgate. Card A is situational, its first effect is crap and the 3rd effect's cost is too much, but at least the 2nd effect is good with Volcanic Queen, and since another card was a Floodgate, that's good enough.

Both have decent pictures! I'm impressed. However, the first card is really three cards in one and that seems like poor design. If the three effects seemed at all related, like maybe they chained into each other, then it would be okay. However, as is, I prefer the simpler, more realistic, Card B.

Card A:

Looks like it was designed to abuse Volcanic Queen or Lava Golem and thus supporting burn decks, which are not healthy for the game. Really, the first effect weakens that Queen/Golem so it is no longer a threat, and the remaining 2 effects allow you to recover it. Fortunately it requires FIREs or Volcanics to work consistently, so it is not like you can simply splash it on burn decks with Queen/Golem. But still, it feels like a card that could be abused.

Affecting any FIRE just in case the opponent is running Fire Fists or Fire Kings, or randomly drops a FIRE Extra Deck monster is more of icing on the cake.

Card B:

1800 ATK is solid. As mentioned above, it looks like a good addition to Beast-Warrior Koa'kis, and the FIRE attribute helps by making it a Wolfbark target. Then, its effect not only disrupts Shaddolls, one of the top tier decks in the current format, but also disables the opponent from shifting to a defensive stance, allowing you to OTK easier with Urnight(s).

I vote for Card B.

I vote card B

Card A while being situational is definitely a slippery slope of balance. The fact that it is a permanent steal in any capacity is simply wrong to many. That means that you could easily put in DNA transplant make all monsters fire that hit the field are now viable permanent steal targets. I understand what the card was going for, but the last effect became something a tad worrisome.

Card B while technically not allowing people to set cards is also unfair it is not as big a detriment as Card A. There are not that many decks that truly need to set monsters so it makes for a really good side card for decks that use tenki.
