Atypical-Abbie
Rules and Rewards: All YCM and 1v1 Leaderboard rules apply First to 3 votes wins. Winner gets a rep from the opponent (and anyone else as well if they want) Votes must be with valid reasoning, going "Card A wins" won't do, follow the Leaderboard rules! Entry Requirements and Theme: Any card will do, you can make what you want this time around! Image or written, either is fine. I might change the text of the card so it's more obvious that I didn't make it. Send a PM to me with your cards, and make sure that it's not possible to see who made the card, i.e. remove your name from it. Deadline: Opponent sign-up date: 29th of September at 00:00 CET Contest end date: 29th of September at 00:00 CET
2 Level 4 monsters If you control no other monsters: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to the DEF of the Xyz Material detached to activate this effect, also if the detached Xyz Material was a FIRE or Wyrm-Type monster, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Burstout Wyrm" once per turn.

Pendulum Effect: When this card is activated: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 Normal Pendulum Monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Pendulum Summon Effect Monsters during the turn you activate this effect. You can only use the Pendulum effect of "Shadow Tricksters" once per turn. Monster Effect: While you control 2 cards in your Pendulum Zone, this card gains ATK equal to the different between the Pendulum Scales of those cards x 100. When this card is Normal or Pendulum Summoned while you control a Normal Monster(s): You can activate this effect; either increase OR decrease a Pendulum Scale of a Pendulum Card you control by 1, and if you do, draw 1 card. You can only use the monster effect of "Shadow Tricksters" once per turn.

Duel Emperor
I vote for card B. It amazingly increase the consistent of the Vanilla Pendulum deck, and I think the restriction that prevent from immediately using its +1 effect, saying no to Tool and the push for the deck are fair and balanced since you know, they're Vanilla after all. Card A is just... worse. The card is good except that it could only detach when you control no other monsters, prevent your spamming which is how you literally play Wyrm deck. Love of Ghibli
I vote Card A Since both cards seem oddly balanced and made to support a very specific set of cards to me it comes down to which is more playable. I can only think of two pendulum monsters that would meet the criteria for Shadow Tricksters search ability yet since Burnout Wyrm covers an entire attribute it could, in theory see more play. Actually the FIRE or Wyrm thing is only for added protection which makes it still decent monster removal for being a generic rank 4. Granted if there was going to be only 1 Xyz monster on the field to deal with a problem he would definitely be outclassed by others, nevertheless I do see him as more viable chose than the Shadow Tricksters. Once again I vote for A.

Rera
I vote Card B because Sion & Rion are cuter <3 Well, I'm not that stupid to vote just like that, but from what I heard, a good Xyz need to generate a plus since summoning them is theoretically a -1, but all Card A did was only cut the opponent monster's ATK up to the level of Level 4 monster's DEF (in other words, not so high, especially for FIRE monsters) and conditionally protect itself. Card B supports Normal Monsters deck which was unplayable during my time, but after reading that dinodolphin thread, I found out that Normal Pendulum became a playable deck, and from what I understand, Card B can be re-Summoned after leaving the field and give you another draw and 200 bonus ATK for itself, which is actually better than Card A. Sleepy
I vote for card B. Card A is more my kind of card, but it seems to go somewhat against its intended deck. Wyrm monsters generally float too much to warrant this being the only card out, and not filling up the field in exchange for using this just doesn't seem worth it looking at how it is just a beater that actually doesn't further the Wyrms' agenda of floaters and gets no benefits from them like with the Synchro bosses of the deck. In its defense though, it is a generic Xyz, but that'd mean it is better suited for rogue plays at the casual level. Nothing in particular comes to mind. Oh and its protection effect is probably too slow. If your opponent has what they need to get rid of it, they won't wait for it to activate to do so. I feel that would be good as a quick effect restricted to your own turn or something along those lines. Card B in the other hand has its intended deck pretty much narrowed down and I don't think I can see a way in which it doesn't work with any pieces in it. RotA can search for this AND for Shine Knight, and now at 3 it becomes a very consistent engine, especially with 2 targets rather than 1. It is on itself an instant search so said RotA becomes a door to mostly any Pendulum in the deck, further thinning out the deck AND setting up a Pendulum in the Extra Deck for next turn's Pendulum Summon. Odd-Eyes is more viable in the deck as well, since it is also a searcher that can grab this card, and this card on itself can rise the current maximum Scale of the deck from 7 to 8 and allow Odd Eyes to be Pendulum Summoned along with everyone else. Maybe it works a little too well, personally. Regardless it is functional, both effects, the scale, and the ATK and Type all work pretty well.
