Trebuchet MS
Let's try something a little more complex... Rules All Leaderboard rules apply. First to 3 votes or most votes by the deadline wins. The winner gets a rep from the loser. Voters are to explain their reasoning. Better-explained thought processes will receive reps. Written cards are allowed. (Must be in written format, cards with blank pictures are not acceptable) Remove any evidence of the card being made by you to ensure anonymity. In case a downtime happens, the deadlines may be extended. Deadlines PM your cards within 48 hours after I accept the challenge. Voters have 72 hours to vote once the cards are posted up. Requirements Create a card that has only one sentence in its card text. This means (semi-)Nomis or Rituals cannot be included. Material requirements for Fusions, Synchros, and Xyz do not count as a sentence. Do not use more than 1 instance of effect conjunctions within the effect resolution. These conjunctions are "and", "then", "and if you do" and "also". Once you use one, you cannot use the others, and you cannot repeat it. Yes, this also means you are expected to type your effects in the PSCT format. Card A
When a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect is activated: Discard 1 Counter Trap Card from your hand; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.
Card B
When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon this card and banish all cards in your opponent's hand.

-Noel-
I think Card B's brokenness is obvious enough so that I don't need to give furthermore reasons, Card A get the vote, also I really curious what you've smoked when you're making Card B. J-Max
Card A by a mile but I will give Valid Reasons..... Card A: A more balanced Solemn Judgement. If it was discard ANY Trap then it would have been on the slightly OP'd side but as it is, its a -2 to negate like Judgement. Also helps if you need to thin a Trap from your hand which is a dead draw. Card B: No... Just no.... If it was Banish 1 card from your opponent's hand then I would have forced to make a tougher choice. But putting this down turn 1 and your opponent destryoing it? Yeah... Opponent is pretty much fucked. Way WAY too broken. Card A it is but I gave my reasons for Legit pirposes.
Overfrost!
Card A: Kinda too costly if used against Spell/Trap. Against monster effects, Breakthrough Skill or Divine Wrath is better. If it can negate Special Summons (like Solemn Warning, including effects that Special Summon), then it might be good (it's still worse than Black Horn imo). Card B: Fire King might love this. Against 'set everything you can set' decks, this card might do nothing though. But against something like Lightsworn or Mermail this card shines, too brightly. Set this, if it gets destroyed somehow, you just successfully raised your winning probability by 99%. Card A is weaker, but Card B is overpowered . . . I vote Card A. -Dom-
I guess I'll finish this up then. Card A to me just seems a bit like pack filler like counter counter due to such specific requirements, especially compared to Dark Bribe, a similar card (you also wouldn't run many counter traps to discard that would be worse than this - I wouldn't discard Warning/Bribe or horn for this). However, I'm sure that you could create situations and combos wth this card, so it might be nice in the side deck. As the other 2 said, Card B is just waaay overpowered, and probably would still be so even toned down, like banishing less cards from the hand, or it being in attack position when destroyed. Maybe tone down the amount of cards banished and the destruction requirements to battle only? Anyway, the vote obviously goes to Card A. EDIT: just saw the 3rd vote after I posted mine, but I'll leave my thoughts anyway to be helpful I guess.
Trebuchet MS
3-0 Card A. My victory. Wow, this certainly ended quickly. A landslide victory over the span of under 25 minutes? Empoledom, you will still get the appropriate rep. Would've preferred if Aqua Hina went in-depth a little further, but it's kinda understandable in this case. Thank you for playing, Rtyui(x3). Yeah, good game. I really messed up on this one. I was going to put a restriction, but the requirement was only one sentence. I should have thought about the card more.
