Itching to create and want to break my Losing streak ^^

First to 3 Votes or 48 Hours wins.
Challenger must PM card to me, No identification on it.
Written Cards are accepted.
Winner will get 1 Rep from Loser

Theme. Create a card based around Battle Damage

CARD A

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand or Graveyard when you receive 2000 or more Battle Damage in a single attack. Once per turn you can reduce the ATK of 1 face-up monster on the field to 0. Until your End Phase, the original ATK and Level of this face-up card is the same as the monster used to activate this card's effect. When this card is removed from the field, you can Tribute 1 Fiend-Type monster you control to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.


CARD B

You can only activate this card during your Battle Phase when your opponent takes Battle Damage. Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck who's ATK is equal to or less than the damage your opponent takes. Your opponent gains life points equal to the Special Summoned monster's ATK. It is now the end of your Battle Phase.

I can take this on. How does a card that has an effect related to battle damage sound?

Sounds good to me.

 

Hmm didn't make a requirement for a while... Alright let's make a generic Level 5 or higher monster

I can have up to two hosted so I can accept this one as well. Let me make the Card for the first 1 on 1 first though.

Card A is good, summoning itself when take heavy damage, have No.8 effect that won't drain effects and can be repeatedly used after Synchro something if you have field advantage. Card B is situational and waste your Battle Phase and some damage you would have inflicted for just a monster, in short it just a worse Damage Condensor

 

I vote Card A

 

and J-Max, could you make another thread for you and me by now?

Card A: Good card, would be overpowered if not for the "when you take 2000 or more battle damage" part becuse its effect is similar to cards such as reptilian medusa but even stronger because it gains attack. Also, it is open to attack after the atk boost is gone.
Card B:

Card B is situational and waste your Battle Phase and some damage you would have inflicted for just a monster, in short it just a worse Damage Condensor

Like what Dyson Sphere said, it wastes your bp and its effect is not very good. Also, it heals the opponent making it weak.

I vote card A, if you couldn't already tell. XD

Card A is a hand trap to some extent, which does show promise in being SSed, given the meta nowadays. The ATK/effect gain is nice, since it gives this card a chance to destroy something; and because of its Tuner status, can be used to make a Synchro before it becomes an open target.

 

Card B is an inverted Damage Condenser, and essentially "undoes" the damage you just inflicted on them with the side effect of ending your Battle Phase. The damage can be reversed with Simochi/Reficule, but that's situational and not very good.

 

 

Voting for card A for usability/actually doing something.
