The opponent may choose a requirement, which I can accept or decline: Create a card that involves having the opponent excavate.

Card A:

When an opponent's Spell/Trap Card is activated: Negate the Spell/Trap activation, and if you do, place it on the bottom of the Deck, then your opponent excavates cards from the top of their Deck until they excavate a Spell/Trap Card. Your opponent Sets the excavated Spell/Trap Card, also your opponent places the remaining cards on the bottom of the Deck in any order.

Card B:

2 Level 2 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then excavate the top 3 cards of your opponent's deck; if your opponent controls a monster(s) with the same Level/Rank as the level of a monster excavated by this effect: Take control of those monsters. Their effects are negated, and they cannot declare an attack this turn. Then, shuffle the excavated cards into the deck.

Card A: Good card, but is a bit underpowered just a tiny bit.
Card B: Nice card, whether it's effect is good or not depends on what you excavate so it is quote balanced.

This has been my hardest decision for a vote so far since both cards are good, but I vote card B. Congrats to Both of you for creating such good cards. :)

woa, Card B is nearly broken as a side card, in some Decks that focus around only 1-2 Levels like HB, Tellaknights or most Xyz Decks, you can steal all monsters your opponent controls in a single move. Card A is a Wiretap that covered Spell cards, but give your opponent a new S/T, I do understand why people said it's underwhelming, but at least it's more balance than Card B, so Card A got my vote

Card A: a nice new counter trap more usable than wiretap, stopping spells as well. I think that this is better due to the majority of decks today using many more spells than traps, meaning this card is less situational and the negated card could be more key to the opponent's plays, even though they're likely to set a similar card. Also, upsets Sylvans a lot, so that's good I guess.

Card B: Racoons tier 1 now? But seriously this is just a quite strong xyz that happens to be a rank 2 beast. Very good against a LOT of current decks, meaning detaching 1 material from this card could end up taking a lot of cards and ruining your opponent's day somewhat: never mind their monster's effects being negated, this can clear their field. In contrast, this card is not as good against Sylvans, I guess.

Overall, both very good cards, but I feel that Card B needs some more restrictions added to it to make it more fair(choose 1 level from the excavated cards/1 monster?), while Card A is fine the way it is, so my vote goes to Card A.
