Card Requirements

Choose one:

-Support Generation Fish-

-Create a Pendulum-assisting Spell/Trap Card-

-Create a monster that likes to be Pendulum Summoned-

Activate 1 of these effects. You can only activate 1 "Seal of Malevolent" per turn.
● Send 1 card in your Pendulum Card Zone to the Graveyard; draw 2 cards.
● Target 1 card in your Pendulum Card Zone; negate its effects, and if you do, increase or decrease its Pendulum Scale by up to 3 until the End Phase.

Activate 1 of the following effects. You can only activate 1 "Scale Burst" per turn.
@ Place 1 face-up Pendulum monster from your Extra Deck onto the field in one of your empty Pendulum Zones.
@ Add, from your Deck to your hand, 1 monster whose Level is between the blue Pendulum Scale and Red Pendulum Scale in your left and right Pendulum Zones, respectively.

so you guys know how to balance the cards very well, both cards are really good and this is a tough vote. Card A has a popular draw 2 theme and can extend the level of monsters you'll Pendulum Summoned for a turn in exchange of permanently negate the Pendulum card's effect. Card B can reuse destroyed Pendulum cards or search any monster that can be pendulum summon after added and both cards have once per turn restriction. Both of them are almost perfect, but for Card A drawing effect, it should destroy the Pendulum card instead of sending to the Graveyard, bacause Pendulum cards only go to Extra Deck when they're destroyed. Card B's tutoring effect is a bit questionable, it can search ANY monster, so by splashing Odd-Magicians engine into any deck, you can search anything that is Level 2 to 7, which make the card a bit OP imo, so I vote Card A

 

I just noticed that your cards' first and second effects have synergy to each other. If only Card A's cost is destroying, then Card B can recycle it. and using Card A's scale modifying mean Card B got a wider range to search, I really want both cards to be printed, well done :lol:

This is a hard one to choose on, largely because of how similar the two are, with each offering an effect to set your scale, and an effect to grab stuff. Overall, however, I feel as if I am going to have to vote Card A. Despite its incredible art, Card B simply feels too strong, as either of the two effects is extremely powerful on its own, let alone as an option.

 

Vote to Card A, for balance purposes.

Firstly I do think that both cards are great, and quite strong with two effects to choose from, but I suppose this is due to the lack of Pendulum supporting cards (there's the one trap from DUEA).

 

Card A: I always like new draw cards, and this card fits with it well, with the wording "send to the grave" preventing the card from causing stupid shenanigans and loops. However, drawing 2 with little cost, as you can use this after you Pendulum summon (and while there are few Pendulums now, in the future this'll seen pretty common), meaning it's not using up resources like draw cards such as trade in do. The second effect does seem quite good as well, as few Pendulum effects yet are worthwhile, so this card basically becomes change your scales by 3, which is technically stronger than changing levels, as this means you can summon multiple higher level monsters from your hand - though quite situational, as an optional 2nd effect its strong.

 

Card B: that image is suspiciously relevant to Pendulums. Anyway, as for the effect, the first is a good warrior returning alive type spell, being able to bring back the smaller pendulum with the higher scale range to then Pendulum Summon the big guy (eg Odd-Eyes) from the extra deck as well. The second effect is a bit too strong though, as the main restriction of Pendulum monsters is that their summon is only from the hand (or Extra) and so this card allows you to garb any monster basically (you'd only have monsters that you're able to Pendulum) and either Summon or use later, as it grabs ANYTHING.

 

Overall, my vote is actually going to card B, as both are probably a bit too strong, but to me A's essentially free draw could cause problems with no restrictions, while B's search does require the right monsters in your zones.
