Feel free to change your vote, so long as your vote hasn't been responded to by one of the competitors/the vote count hasn't been updated. First to 3 wins. Provide a decent amount of reasoning, as lacking it may get your vote voided(yes, even if for my card). Cards due within 24 hrs of accepting. Voting closes 72hrs following the "Cards up" message Card Requirements Create a Wyrm-Type (Genryu is Wyrm in the TCG) monster Note: The requirement is very vague. I leave you a CRAP TON of creative space here. Card A If you control at least 2 face-up WIND monsters: you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: you can discard one WIND monster from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon this card during the End Phase. If this card is Special Summoned by its own effect; you can send one face-up card back to the hand. Card B You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by destroying 1 monster you control. This Special Summoned monster can attack your opponent directly. A Synchro Monster Summoned by using this card as a Synchro Material Monster gains the following effect. * When this card is Synchro Summoned; draw 1 card. Trebuchet MS
Seeing that the Wyrms are a relatively new Type, there isn't a lot they can readily interact with yet, and the general design theme has not been pinned down yet. That said, this lets me review the cards as they are, with minimal worry of external support/archetype interactions. Card A's wording is unpolished, but at least it's simple enough to not warrant any queries on how it works. Designed solely to work with WIND Decks, it can prove to be quite the nuisance, being something that's easily SS'd and recurs with great ease, and each time it's SS'd (including the first time!) it bounces something, sort-of breaking even in card advantage repeatedly. Recurring bounce isn't the most pleasant thing to be subject to, especially if there's an entire compatible archetype devoted to bouncing and being bounced, but at least it can't clear face-downs and defuse unknown threats. Card B, on the other hand, already causes a query with its inherent Summon condition. What happens if you attempt to destroy an indestructible monster? Or is it such that you can't destroy the indestructible to SS it? That aside, direct attacks from any form of Special Summon can be potentially painful, especially if striking for game. The card draw upon use to Synchro Summon can be nice, though its Level limits its Synchro use to the high-LV Synchros without external interference. Hmm, judging the better of the two is a little tough, due to quite the utility both cards present. I might have to vote for Card A due to the lower possibilities of unintended interaction combos available to it.
ÆƵ–
1-0 card A. Thanks floor voting, Gadjiltron.
Therrion
As for the query, it's a cost, so if the monster isn't destroyed Card B doesn't get SSed.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A: SS itself if 2 or more WINDs exist; also has a Manticore of Darkness-esque effect (ditch a WIND monster to SS itself, then bounce a face-up card). Card B: Instant Level 7 that can SS by destroying another monster you control and also can attack directly (2200 ATK is still a big amount of damage to be taking from a direct shot w/out restriction), then grants whatever monster that uses it to Synchro Summon a free draw effect. Both cards have their flaws, but card A is the less of the two (meaning that the effect isn't as abusable as B's is), so it's getting my vote here.
