Northern Sage
Is Leaderboard really dead?
Nathanael D. Striker
Is Leaderboard really dead? I just think it's the card requirement that's driving people away. Not a lot of people know mythology. Also, last month of the school year for most people so there is that too.

Nathanael D. Striker
I guess. Mind extending the deadline for the cards so I can get some research done? Also, it should say May not April.

Guess I should just specify days after accepting. Makes things easier. Deadline two days from now, please specify if you need more.

Βyakuya
Comparing each mythological reference, Huitzilopotchli is much more recognizable than Arion. And based on a Google Search, a famous renowned Greek kitharode looks nothing like a majestic dragon....thing. Towards the effects, Card A seemingly looks like it supports Fire Kings but obviously Fire Fists would get much more a better advantage. The discarding effect seems balanced since it's a fair new discarding effect in this era of Yugioh, and generally Fire Fists/Kings fairly get a good amount of pluses. Card B, as much as I don't get the point behind it, the effect is similar to A, yet it's basically Michael for hands. In a way it could be abused, since it doesn't have a limiting clause. Plus, the effect to reduce ATK to prevent destruction is stupid since no one will waste resources to exactly get it to 0 ATK, which the 2nd effect will never resolve. My vote goes to A; Much more sense in it as a god requiring sacrifices.

Agro
Vote has to go for card A on the simple basis that Card B has no restrictions on how often its hand-banishing effect can be used. It takes away resources to handle it at the same time that it stays virtually invincible on its own.I may still have some qualms with Card A, but its restrictions give it an edge. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A fits in with the sacrificial element that Huitzilopochtli.embodies. The unlimited use of it doesn't sit well with me at first (until the hard OPT clause at the bottom). However, it does take a toll on your hand to do it, so that balances out. Card B is a toned down Trishula (just hits the hand). Because of its 2700 ATK, it can survive getting killed a total of 5 times (assuming you didn't increase its ATK) and since 2700 isn't divisible by 5, the last effect won't kill itself. As Raito noted, no one's going to drain it exactly to 0 ATK to have it kill itself. If people wanted to do it, something like Venom Swamp would accomplish the same task. Anyway, card A takes it.
