Darj
Set A: A slower Rescue Rabbit whose only advantage is being able to Summon Normals of different Levels, including Levels 5+, for your Synchro or Xyz needs... but those monsters need to be in the grave first. It requires too much setup to be useful, in my opinion. The last effect of the Ritual would be a great addition for Level 1 Decks such as Piper variants or Skull Servants, but unfortunately it is slow: by requiring to be destroyed on the field, you would have to either wait for baiting an opponent's MST,etc., which is unrealiable and might not happen at all during the duel, or destroy it yourself. Set B: A Deck searcher who locks up to 2 cards when it's dropped. The searching effect is, in my opinion, too nerfed with the restrictions of requiring to destroy a monster by battle, being able to search only for Normal Monsters, and further preventing them from being used as Synchro/Xyz Materials. It's not that bad, though, because as Normals, those targets can be used for "Advanced Ritual Art", plus said restriction only lasts 1 turn. On the other hand, the lock effect is really good because it is apparently permanent, so if you lock any S/T it will remain dead on the field until the opponent uses it as fodder for Scrap Dragon, etc. Then, there is the last effect of the Ritual Spell, which works as an "insurance" for losing a Beast-Warrior, including the Ritual Monster or a monster Summoned by it, and as a bonus it is permanent. In exchange, it negates the effect of the stolen monster, which helps with keeping this effect balanced. My vote goes for Set B for having better effects. Kingdom Xathers
Right, so that's 1 Vote to 0, Advantage in B's Court.
Blue Amoonguss
Card A is similar to Rescue Rabbit, though at a higher cost. The accompanying Ritual Spell has a rather ok 'Plan B', grabbing a card like Effect Veiler or something. Card B has the potential to become a staple in many decks: it has the possibility of a Xing Zen Hu when used with it's accompanying Ritual Spell, and access to some normal Beast-Warrior monsters of any level. Card B's Ritual Spell is also a large support, giving 200 points to Beast Warriors, and a Change of Heart effect when the Beast Warrior is destroyed. There are plenty of ways to get around both cards, so neither of them are that OP. However, I vote for Card B because I feel that this card would be used more often, while Card A would be overlooked, simply because the meta would assume it's pretty much a Ritual Rescue Rabbit. Aix
Opaque Ocelot isn't viable at all. First of all, its Ritual Spell requires that you Tribute exactly a Level 1 and secondly, its effect is a -1 in total, making it completely not worth the effort to gather the Ritual Spell and Monster to your hand. Dedicating your Deck to this card, which is what you would have to do if you wanted to successfully use this card, is not worth it.Sandalio on the other hand is difficult being a Level 7 that requires one to get exactly a total of Level 7 rather than like many Ritual monsters that require the Level or more, but its payoff is quite good. The take control thing might be overboard, but not too terribly so.Vote to Cards B.
