Card A:

2 level 4 monsters
You can also xyz summon this card by using a rank 4 or lower Machine-Type monster with no xyz material and a different name as the xyz material. You can detach 1 xyz material from this card, then target 1 level 6 or lower Machine-Type monster in your graveyard that was destroyed; special summon it. You can only use this effect of "Backup Mecha Girl" once per turn. Once per turn, you can target 1 face-up Machine-Type monster you control; equip this card you control to that target, it gains 1000 ATK and 500 DEF. If it would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.

Card B:

Ain, you forgot to type in the lore. Yeah, I know card B is Ain's. The image is definitely Ain's style and nobody uses ENXXX except for me and Ain.

Card A sounds a bit like Geargia/Gadget toy for me. The SS bit is a bit restrictive due to it being only to destroyed monsters, but again, Geargias and Gadgets. This makes it a bit less, well, good. It will be used to shield Fortress and turn it into a lol3500wall, until Compulsory comes in. As it stands, it's very good Gadget Machina support, it does the recycle well and the last effect, while unnecessary, is a welcome addition to the bulldozer that is Machina Fortress.

Ain's card on the other hand, seems to push for being generic. The first use comes from it being a one-use spell negator that ends up being a +1. Also, since it's equip effect is mandatory, it ends up being a bit more problematic than card A.

Both cards promote different playstyles, with Backup Mech supporting Machine archetypes and Bittersweet Alice putting a magnificent wall that turns into a free summon. However, I'd go for card A. It's close, real close. I would take Card B to use anytime, anywhere and in any deck. However, Card A is the card that Machines need, and I think that's more than enough generic rank 4s with great effects.

This is a bad vote, yes, and I know it's mostly based on my love for Machinas. So if you wanna argue about it, go right ahead. Although, you guys accept votes no matter how bad it is.

Also, Ain, get that card on DP nao. I wanna use it my Shrine Maiden archetype so badly.

Card A: Can use another Rank 4 Machine (w/out material to summon), detaches to SS a Level 6 Machine that was destroyed and possibly equip it to gain 1000 ATK and generic Union effect (destroys self)

Card B: One-time Spell negation and Level 4 and lower SS, attaches self to another monster if it would die, grants 500 ATK and one-time protection from destruction.

So with that all said and done, Card B gets it for balance and creativity reasons; it's not another Machine equip (though I got no problems with them), the requirements are specific enough (though can be fulfilled rather quickly in certain Decks).

On a side note, it's pretty obvious whose card is which, even if you didn't leave your name below)

Card A is really good, but it is type specific. Toyo already explained how Gadgets and Machinas can make great use of this, and I think it could be used effectively by CyDras as well. It can also generate additional pluses by overlaying it over a Gear Gigant that already used its 2 materials, and such combo could be dangerous in Geargias, who are among the top tiers this format.

Card B is good too. Requiring 2 Special Summoned monsters are materials is a bit restrictive, but it pays off by granting you a +1 as soon as a Spell Card is activated, and further generating potential pluses by fizzling effects that would destroy this card, and then another monster you control.

As much as I like Machinas, I vote for Card B because of its more generic effect.
