[spoiler='Card A'] 2 Level 8 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using an Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains ATK equal to the Rank or Level of the detached monster x300, then, if the detached material is an Xyz Monster, target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard with a Level equal to the Rank of the detached Xyz Monster; Special Summon it.[/spoiler] [spoiler='Card B'] 2 level 10 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a level 9 or higher Synchro monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card). When this card is Xyz Summoned, attach all other monsters you control to this card. As long as this card has a Xyz Material, this card cannot be destroyed or be targetted by card effects. Once per turn, you can detach 2 Xyz Material from this card to banish all other monsters on the field face-down. Return cards banished by this effect to their owner's hand during your next standby phase. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted November 21, 2013 Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Let's see: Card A: Rank 8 that can also use (hypothetically) a Rank 1 monster as an Xyz Material; detaches to gain ATK and SS monsters if detach is an Xyz and only monsters with an equal Level. Card B: Rank 10 that uses Level 9+ Synchros as the material, attaches other monsters you control as material, protection from destruction/targeting effects (assuming you have Xyz Material), use 2 ORU to banish everything else face-down until the next turn and has a Summoning lock. -- Card A essentially can detach all of its materials in one turn to boost itself rapidly, which can be considerably high depending on the way you summon this card (and assuming you use the alternative method, you're given a Level-restricted Monster Reborn of sorts). With high Level/Rank monsters, you essentially summon a powerful monster that can be used for future Xyz/Synchros. Card B has a powerful effect that allows it to detach 2 materials (which is possible in most cases since it uses everything else you have as material); though monsters do return at the Standby Phase, protection from effects while it has a material monster and a summoning lock (which does balance this out to some degree). I'm going to have to give this to card B for balancing reasons (though card A is good in its own right, but the lack of restriction doesn't sit well) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aix Posted November 24, 2013 Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 Chaos Xyz Knight is Karakuri-esque and likely has loop shenanigans which does not sit well with me at all, especially as it is generic and especially as you can use it after using the effect of whatever Xyz you Summoned and its ATK can go up quite high. Subterranean Beast is powerful but very well balanced by the fact that you cannot control Summon while you have it and it clears your field on Summon. Vote to Card B.
