Rules:
1. Cards are due 48 hours from this post
2 .First to 3 votes or most votes by 72 hours after
contest starts wins.
3. All votes must have at least 2 lines of reasoning.
4. Winner gets a like from the loser.
5. Opponent must PM me their card.

Requirements:

Make a card effect that revolves around checking the top cards of oyur deck to do something, ala Shinras in TCG.
SyJkhmR.jpg

Once per a turn, you may send the top 3 cards of your deck to the Graveyard and activate one of the effects:
- Destroy one card on the field
- Draw a card
- Gain Life Points equal to the number of Monsters sent the graveyard by this effect x1000

dFasKUX.jpg

You can Special Summon this card by tributing a Dragon-type monster you control. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. If you control no other monsters, this card cannot be targetted by card effects. When this card declares an attack, reveal the top card of your deck. If you revealed a Dragon-type monster, send it to the graveyard, then if this card is face-up after the battle, this card can attack another monster you control once. Otherwise, add the revealed card to your hand.
Card A: Mill 3 cards; draw/destroy a card or gain up to 3k LP depending on what you discarded.

Card B: Can SS itself by tributing a Dragon monster, locks Extra Deck summoning, targeting immunity if its only monster user controls, checks top card of Deck if it's Dragon-Type (either you send it to the Graveyard and can attack another monster if it's still there) or gets added to hand.

In terms of card B, there's a typo there (I'm assuming you meant for it to be "your opponent").

That aside, card A fuels Lightsworn stuff (sets up for JD and either gets a free draw, destroys something and/or a LP gain) in addition to other Decks that rely on Graveyard. Card B essentially adds stuff to your hand (or dumps it to attack again), with protection against Bottomless, Dimensional Prison, etc, provided you have no other monsters. Plus, it does follow this contest's requirements of "checking cards".

So with that all said and done, card B takes it b/c it follows the theme, balance and doesn't give more fuel to Decks that already have enough to work with (can handle itself on own).

So yeah, Card A can blow up stuff with a non-existant cost once per turn. The other effects are pretty meaningless in comparison, but the drawing effect is also a bit iffy.

While Card B is powerful, the restriction practically holds it from going on a complete rampage.

Vote for Card B.

I'd love to vote against card B because it just seems to help DR too much. And its "attack another monster you control" makes literally no sense. And the way it reveals/guarantees a draw seems somewhat confusing/maybe too much. However, it is the only card that actually follows the contest rules. So, unfortunately, my vote goes to B.

3-0 Card B. Thank you all for voting. Some explanation first:
1. Card A did fulfill the condition for the contest by its 3rd effect, since the rules doesn't really explained the detail on how the checking actually done much.

2. Yes, Card B's effect should be ''you can attack another monster your opponent controls''. I mistyped it.

3. It won't really help Dragon Rulers much, though you can summon it after basically spam the Xyzs. Should've done something to prevent it, but at least you can't use the protection effect if so.

Gg StealthyTyranitar.

Checking the top of your deck does not equal milling and counting monsters, just saying. And I'm starting to get the feeling that Dragon anything makes me think its going to be spammed in DR. Not actually that bad, but a draw and/or mill seems annoying in DR. And maybe I need clarification, because the way you worded it actually made it look like you could draw and reveal again. The "once" thing feels vague. Once more, or once per turn? They have different meanings. But I think you were just trying to make it happen once that turn.
