8tUC0zR.jpg

Can only be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 LIGHT monsters you control and cannot be Summoned any other way. When this card battles a Defense position monster: Inflict piercing damage to your opponent. When this card battles a monster: you can halfen the ATK or DEF of the monster this card is battling; all damage that would be dealt to your opponent is reduced to 0.
3 Level 8 LIGHT monsters

When this card is Xyz Summoned: Attach all face-down cards on the field to this card as Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; banish 1 face-up card on the field. If this card would be destroyed while a “Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon” is attached to this card as Xyz Material: You can detach it instead.
I'm voting for card B.

Card A is in no way worth the investment of 3 LIGHTs you control, and it's a Nomi. It's roughly as bad as goddamn Montage Dragon.

Card B is a bit of a stretch of course, because anything it didn't attack to itself it can banish later, and is a 4000 body that can survive destruction at least once... but it actually does something to support Galaxy/Photon unlike Slicer. Though the pic would look nicer without the holo, why'd you add it Zex?

While card B seems a little too OP, Card A is just too weak. Level 7? Doesn't actually use the archetype? Low ATK? Effects are not really worth 3 LIGHT monsters either, as stated above.

I vote for Card B, despite it not being too great either. It doesn't really support the deck past using Galaxy Eyes, but then again, neither do the other Xyz.

To be fair it's basically Heavy Storm for 3 Level 8s.

@ Mugen - I know it looks better without the holo effect, but I couldn't find the picture without the holo effect. o_O

@ TG Master - technically, giving them an archetype-related Xyz which serves a purpose other than to look cool (ahem, Neo Galaxy-Eyes) can count as support. Especially seeing as how the whole archetype itself has no consistent theme other than swarm with level 8s to Xyz into Rank 8s.

@ Thar - it's not over yet :p

Card A:

The card is really underwhelming. Not only it requires a lot of monsters for its Summon, but also banishes them, only to get a piercer who doesn't even reaches 3000 ATK. Yeah, with its second effect it should be able to defeat up to 5100-ATK monsters by battle, but without any sort of protection it is vulnerable to your opponent's effects. Then it is not even Level 8 for supporting Galaxy-Eyes Xyzs. As stated above, giving up 3 monsters for this card is not worth it; and I would't consider this a Photon Boss.

Card B:

It is powerful, worth of being a Galaxy-Eyes boss. It also goes with the theme of Galaxy-Eyes of summoning monsters for Rank 8 Xyzs.

My vote goes to card B, because it has a better effect for a boss, and sticks closer to the theme of Galaxy-Eyes.
