2 Level 4 WATER monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can send 1 WATER monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 other WATER monster with another Level than the sent card from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. You cannot Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this effect, except WATER monsters. You can only activate this effect of "Rainbow Serpent, Thinner of the Sea" once per turn. Once per turn, when you Special Summon a WATER monster: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. During the turn you activate this effect, battle damage this card inflicts to your opponent becomes 1000.

2 Level 4 Machine-type monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned successfully: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and halfen this card's ATK; this card can attack your opponent directly. When this card deals damage to your opponent: You can detach every Xyz Material from this card; this card deals double that damage; destroy this card after the damage step.
Card A is pretty damn powerful, and contends with Bahamut Shark, making the player choose lolzy beatdown or solid beater with a pretty damn strong effect. Card B is entirely useless and competes with something that completely overshadows it, Gear Gigant X. Vote for Card A, considering the power level of Card B.

Sorry to be blunt Thar. Advice would be to not be too worried about making a somewhat powerful card, as long as you know not to go too far.
