All Leaderboard and YCM rules apply.

-First to 3 votes or most votes by the deadline wins.

-All voters must elaborate on their votes.

The deadline is two weeks after the cards are up.

All voters get a rep.

Written cards are allowed.

The condition, in light of the addition of Xyz Monsters to the card maker, is quite simple: Make a non-generic Rank 3 Xyz Monster. I don't demand that you use the card maker, but you should remove evidence of it being your card.

Card A:

2 Level 3 Machine-Type monsters
This card's effects can only be applied/resolved while it has Xyz Material. If a monster you control declares an attack, your opponent cannot activate face-down cards until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if your opponent activates a Trap Card: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate its activation, and if you do, return it to its original position.

Card B:

2 Level 3 FIRE monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains 300 ATK until the End Phase, and if you do: Neither player can activate Trap Cards during the Battle Phase this turn. If this face-up card is destroyed: You can send 1 monster from your deck to the Graveyard and if you do: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent. You can only activate this effect of "Volcano Drive" once per turn.

I rather like both of these. I like how you've made their respective Xyz Materials specific to either Machine or FIRE monsters, but, especially in the case of Volcano Drive, you might be able to get away with beefing up their stats or effects a little more. Flavor-wise, I have to admit both kind of underwhelm me. I'm meh about both of their names, and images. I feel like the image you used for Volcano Drive is so badass it deserves to be used for a higher rank or level or something with a lot more punch. As for Jinzo Alpha, I can see where you were going with it, but I couldn't help but feel like you could keep the effect and make it an Ancient Gear Xyz instead of a Jinzo and nothing would be out of place.

As for positive stuff, I like both effects a lot, but I feel like Jinzo has a more solid and reliable effect that lets him lock down the opponent while allowing his allies to Ancient-Gear the opponent (there I go again), which is always fun. Volcano Drive's effects are way cool, but I feel like they lack the game-altering potency of Jinzo Alpha's effect. Kudos on making a Dinosaur, though.

Thus, I give my vote to Card A: Jinzo - Version Alpha.

Well, then my vote goes to to Card B! Volcano Drive

I see where he was heading but far more not that am saying the other card wasn't as good, i see a down on Jinzo as to how you can over jump it's effect by using a card once again the next turn, and it losing it's effect over that, moreover as to Volcano i see it's much easier to summon as to Jinzo being a archtpye card, where it can range on being a 2300/2800 beast! Over-to giving it's self a clean attack where jinzo's a chance, volcano having the *semi-foolish burial effect makes good use.

Hmm, lessee here...

Card A: A Jinzo card that, obviously, emphasizes on negating traps and shiz. Looking at it compared to the actual "Jinzo", I say it makes sense for it being "alpha", considering the trap-negation effect is passive at one point. As for the triggered effect, having the negated trap card stay on the field seems rather redundant, especially since it does not indicate whether or not the card can be activated again after the negation is resolved.

Card B: First thing I noticed... a image is a Hellkite dragon, but it's Dinosaur type. Meh. Second... the trap stalling effect, what does that have to do with an attacking Hellkite dinosaur? Out of fear, I presume? Third... sending monsters from your Deck to your Graveyard, from what angle of mechanics does that entail to dragons dinosaurs? Seems more like a last-minute cost to deal that damage. Why not just deal 500 damage when it's destroyed? It would make more sense, considering it's a freaking Hellkite dino... thing being shot out of the sky. Overall, this card is all over the place for an output that doesn't seem worth it.

My vote goes to Card A.

Monster Cards, Trap Cards and Quick-Play Spell Cards that are set, either manually or by card effects, cannot be flipped face-up / activated, unless stated otherwise or flipped with card effects on the turn when they were set.
