Biography: After the events of Soul Eater Ragnarok the temporal distortion events of Isamy's doing removed him from the gates of time and space. Naturally since he was a part of Crona then he/she came with him. During his downtime in the vault he learned how to divide his soul to keep from overtaking Crona's therefore giving birth to a second Ragnarok. It was during this discovery that a young rich man would take notice of this weapon and realized that this would be a nice way to possibly upgrade Butler. With that in a similar fashion to the way Medusa injected Ragnarok into Crona Dorian injected this other Ragnarok and the Black Clown into Butler in hopes to make him more powerful.  

 

Personality: Ragnarok is loud-mouthed, rude and confident. He believes he and his meister are capable of overcoming any opponent, regardless of how good or bad they actually are at fighting. He is also very violent and easily angered, especially around Maka. Ragnarok has also displayed a habit of calling other people names, such as when he calls Maka a cow and an idiot, and Dr Stein a "screwhead".

 

Ragnarok loves to degrade and pester Crona (even during fights) by giving Crona noogies, pinching Crona's nose, hitting Crona on the head, or taking Crona's food. When Crona finally tells Ragnarok to stop, Ragnarok seems surprised at Crona's reaction, hinting that this is not meant in a malicious way.

He is slightly perverted, since when Crona finally stood up to him he acted like an understanding guy while at the same time pulling up Crona's dress. He also flipped Maka's skirt, but then commented that Maka doesn't have anything to look at under there.

He tends to use Crona as a human shield against non-deadly attacks, such as the Maka Chop. He does worry about Crona's health and will try to help Crona by stopping Crona's bleeding wounds. However, Ragnarok will always ask for thanks afterwards. He also gives him constant vocal motivation during battles, whether they be instructions, compliments or threats.

 

Even after Crona becomes part of Shibusen he still desires to eat any soul but this is hindered by Crona, who claims they are not doing that anymore. His taste for normal food seems to have substituted his desire to eat souls, having a ravenous appetite.

He is often implied to be insane, presumably caused by him eating so many innocent souls. Though his soul wavelength was evened out after these souls were confiscated, his mental state remained the same. However, it is worth noting that he was under the influence of Medusa throughout early encounters, and some of his blood-lust has apparently been laid off. It is also implied, at certain moments, that Ragnarok is afraid of her, as he refers to her as Lady Medusa, and in the anime, he hesitates before he and Crona fight with Medusa.

 

Ragnarok has only expressed heroic intent once while fighting the Oldest Golem. Although driven by a bribe from Maka claiming that she would give him as much candy as he pleases, he still shows a distant change in personality when he begins to fight the Golem. He even seems a bit friendlier to Crona by motivating and listening to Crona's commands. Ragnarok's most heroic quote from this fight occurs when he motivates Crona to engage in battle with Arachne saying; "Get her Crona! Kill the witch!"

This kindness is also shown in the anime when Crona has saved Maka from Medusa. He emerges from the black blood and says how it's all because of her that they are dying, but adds "But at least you're here with stupid Crona at the end."

Powers/Equipment:

  • Demon Sword: In his large weapon form, Ragnarok takes the form of a large black Scandinavian broadsword with a grey hilt, a white stripe down the middle and spikes around the guard which resemble those on Ragnarok's ordinary body. When using Scream Resonance, Ragnarok manifests a mouth on the blade just above the guard. When his soul is cleansed, his form shrinks to that of a longsword (or rapier) but retains many of its old features, except that Ragnarok's seldom seen mouth now permanently stands above the guard.
  • Black Blood: As he is a part of Crona's blood, Ragnarok can control it and shape it in accordance with his soul wavelength. He can use it to bend spikes of blood from droplets, develop missiles and perhaps most impressively, harden the blood to protect his meister from harm, whether by clotting an open wound or simply increasing his stamina. However, it has been shown (though only in the anime) that if his and Crona's soul wavelengths are destabilized, his ability to control it is stopped.
  • Black Dragon: An alternative form of Ragnarok's which can be used after conducting a Scream Resonance with Crona and consuming a large amount of souls. Ragnarok's physical form changes dramatically, becoming more streamlined and serpentine in shape, with the spikes on his back heightened, his arms replaced by two massive wings and his head lengthened out, his mouth now appearing and his eyes on either side of his head. Ragnarok's normal weapon form is replaced by that of a greatsword (or berserker sword) with all its old features, and his wings extend from Crona's back instead, albeit much more ragged. This form allows them to fly, and also greatly enhances all of Crona's attacks.
 

 

  • Mad Blood: After returning to work for Medusa and eating many souls both innocent and evil not to mention Crona's decent even deeper into madness than he already was, Crona's and Ragnarok's Black Blood had evolved into Mad Blood a much more powerful strain of Black Blood. It alows Crona to flood entire cities with black blood unlike its predeccessor. Mad Blood can harden to protect Crona and Ragnarok but unlike the Black Blood if any one tries to break the hardened form the subject will go insane, making it much harder to break with brute force. Its main attack utilization is the creation of spheres made of Mad Blood to trap enemies.

Biography: During the journey of destroying the Destiny stone BlackWarGreymon would notice that the last one was missing. After beating the DigiDestined and their teams of fused digimon that last Destiny Stone seemed to just fade away. It was then that time seemed to have stopped and he was approached by the legendary Isamy. Promising him the ability to not only return the Destiny Stone, but the opportunity to rewrite universe to where he had a sense of purpose was an opportunity he couldn't afford to pass up. Naturally he decided to join her cause hoping that this very rare and weird opportunity was a way to help him to find his purpose in life. 


Personality: BlackWarGreymon is blatantly confused about life. Seeing as he is a construct of 100 spires he has no memories. He highly values strength above most things trying to find the most suitable opponents. Unfortunately in his universe he is pretty much the strongest entity around (for the time being anyway). This leaves him with a sense of emptiness that he believes he can only fill with combat. The combination and confusion that stirs BlackWarGreymon's core leads to insurmountable anger and frustration. This leads to typical loud roars and the need to break/destroy things.

  • Terra Destroyer (Gaia Force): Similar to WarGreymon's Terra Force, he creates a massive sphere of energy and throws it.
  • Dramon Destroyer (Dramon Killer): A thrust with his claws.
  • Black Tornado: He begins to spin and becomes a tornado, then rushes into his enemy.
  • Black Chrome Digizoid Armor: The weapons and claws the make up his armor are composed of the strongest metal in the Digital world.

@Admiral: I've already went over it a bit, but I can't really accept it yet until Arc 2. Still, if you want, I'll go over it for you.

 

I knew that, but you were meant to properly assess it anyway so that I could do any fine-tuning that I needed to.

 

Anyway, can you please go do that? Might help me in the long run :/

 

EDIT: Wait, Sonic's gone? Awe... shame on the timing especially :(

 

Unless we're allowed to claim one playable character while casting another to the wind...

Now that Broken's posted, NOBODY MOVE! I wanna get my Arc 2 post ready and out at the top of Page 13~ thank you all.

 

@Beginning: Both are accept-worthy, and it looks like BlackWarGreymon's gonna join the top tier~ (weird, since its abilities aren't detailed at all). As for Ragnarok, he's cool, and has the potential to get to top tier using the Black Dragon, though you may want to balance the Mad Blood out a bit since 'engulfing an entire city' seems to be going too far even it comes from the manga.

Biography: Due to the multiverse skewing time travel, Hibari was not replaced with his younger self during the battle with Genkishi. Instead, he was forcefully placed into a Parallel Universe in which Tsuna was not sent forwards in time to stop Byakuran, allowing the apocalyptic destruction of that universe to occur.
 
Just before the destruction of that universe, however, Hibari had been approached by one ring wearing Isamy, who had invited him within her ranks as one of her Divine. As quickly as she offered, he declined bluntly, stating that he would not be controlled even if she had possession of the Vongola Rings. As Hibari was left to be consumed by the impending destruction of the world, he was "rescued" by the arrival of the Counter-Guardian Emiya Shirou, who relayed to him the state of the multiverses and why he had been saved.
 
Hibari, unable to allow himself to be in debt for being saved, agreed to assist the the fight against The Divine. However, it was not the only reason he would side with the Counter Corps.The utter chaos being wrought upon the entire multiverse sparked a malevolent inferno within Hibari. For leaving him to surely perish along with the destruction of a parallel world, for taunting him with the Vongola Rings, for attempting to control the fate of the multiverse and thus, HIS fate...
 
He would bite them all to death.
 
Personality: Hibari is considered a very scary character with no care for the well-being of others, preferring to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. This often leads his opponents to surprise him, as he usually doesn't think before attacking.
He prefers to be alone, and hates crowdings. This lead him to beat anyone who he thinks is crowding around him too much. He has full confidence with his own strength and power, and dislikes working together with anybody due to feeling bound and restrained, generally making him refuse to take suggestions from others into consideration.
He is shown to dislike being in debt to anyone and strives to pay them back as soon as possible. He can't stand being restrained and absolutely refuses to allow himself to be controlled.
Future Hibari is shown to be more calm and observant about his opponents, and outwardly admits to hating illusionists because of his grudge towards Mukuro, the first person to have defeated him. His desire to be alone and attack people that annoy him still remains, though his actions are shown with more thought. Future Hibari is also seen being more respectful to Future Tsuna, showing that he has accepted him as his boss.

Powers/Equipment:

  • Cloud Tonfa- The Cloud Tonfa is Kyoya Hibari's main weapon; he typically uses two tonfas to fight. It appears as a normal tonfa; however, it can change forms, simply by revealing other hidden weapons inside it, as well as being able to be covered with his Cloud Flames.
  • Cloud Hedgehog - In the future, Hibari's Box Weapon is a Cloud Hedgehog. When released, the hedgehog can multiply in number. He often will use his hedgehogs when he fights opponents he deems as weak. When facing stronger enemies, he then will instead use his Cloud Tonfas. Due to the Cloud Flame's Propagation ability, he can increase the size of his Hedgehogs to large proportions when they take in his flames.
  • Cloud Flame Radar - He uses his Ring's Flames as a radar by thinly spreading the Flame over a wide area and using the vibrations to detect anything that enters the area. This allows him to counter illusions by using it to sense where the actual object is, as seen in his battle against Genkishi's Spettrale Nudibranchia.
  • Cloud Flames are one of the Dying Will Flames of the Sky and, with its characteristic, "Propagation", carries the ability of increase and replication. As such, it is suited for anything that involves increase of size and multiplication of numbers. Also, this Propagation effect is highly advantageous when performing techniques involving a large area, such as creating a cyclone or an impervious force field. Coincidental or not, a number of Cloud Box Weapons have the ability to pull out and/or absorb the Flames of an enemy. Additionally, Cloud Flames' color is purple. While the core is clear purple in color, the rest of the Cloud Flame has a very pale tone of violet, making this one of the most light-colored types of Flame. Also, unlike the other Dying Will Flames of the Sky, the Cloud Flame's shape is more oblique and somewhat unstable-looking, randomly flickering.

He is also in possession of many Cloud Rings.

So wait, does this mean we can make another character if we wish?  If so I have a Divine I'd like to play in Arc 2.  He's insanely strong.

 

Only if you have space.

 

Besides, I think we're getting a little too many top tiers all of a sudden, and you already have two of them under your control. Maybe you should tone it down on the superpowered.

 

As for Arc 2... well, I'm still trying to get my post out. Slight writer's block, but I'm sure I can pull through soon enough.

Well mad blood will definitely be nerfed but unless Butler gets access to a bunch of pure souls he can't really become top tier. BWGmon yeah he was meant to be a boss. Butler is just going to become a maybe.

Well... this is a little embarrassing, since my laziness is pretty evident right now. But forcing myself to write the post now won't do me any good, so perhaps I'll be able to do it after a good night's sleep. Until then, just be patient, everyone~

 

Just think of this as a break before we start the second arc. (though this should technically come in after the first has ended...) For those of you who're preparing new apps for the next arc, now's your time to prepare them.

Didn't the post save itself via the auto-save feature?

 

My laptop works in strange ways. For some reason, whenever I write a long and important post and then leave it lying there for hours while I immerse myself on other tabs, it never autosaves. It only autosaves whenever the post isn't really important, and even then, it's probably only the first paragraph or so.
