Brawler 1337 Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 I originally designed this as an anti-Xyz archetype, but I figured I wanted to shake things up a bit. So, I designed them so that you Synchro out their most powerful Synchros using Xyz monsters. For the record, the naming scheme is: Normal/Effect monsters: "Matter" Xyz monsters: "Antimatter" Synchro monsters: "Matter-Antimatter" So, pretty much, the way I imagine these guys play sort of like: Summon Matter monsters, shenanigans happen, Xyz for Antimatter monsters, shenanigans, Synchro for Matter-Antimatter monsters. And even though they're officially anti-Xyz, you can still use your own Xyz monsters to help fuel your Matter-Antimatters' effects. Don't forget to rate and comment on them. I need feedback on how I can make these better. I don't want to make them broken, but I'm not sure what level of competitiveness I'm going for here. I don't want to make them too much about monster spam, but I want them to be playable at least. (Well, except for some of the cards which are kind of designed to be pack filler cards.) So, without further ado, my set so far.NEWEST:Lore: Level 4 LIGHT Warrior / Effect 1700 / 1400 Once per turn, you can activate 1 of these effects. - Detach 1 Xyz Material from a card your opponent controls. - Detach 1 Xyz Material from a card you control, except this card, then target 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls; destroy that target. Once per turn: you can increase this card's Level by 4 until the End Phase. Pic credit: Father Wolf Note: This card was designed to be another way to help get out Battle Mech. This card gains ATK equal to those attached Xyz Materials' combined Levels or Ranks x 200. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Xyz Monster; send that target's Xyz Materials to the Graveyard (if any), then attach that target to this card as an Xyz Material (max. 1). This card gains ATK equal to the attached Xyz Material's ATK. Once per turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target up to 2 "Matter" or "Antimatter" monsters in your Graveyard; Special Summon the Xyz Material, then attach those targets (if any) to that monster as Xyz Material. It cannot attack or be used as a Synchro Material Monster this turn, and its effects are negated until the End Phase. It doesn't activate, and it can be used in response to just about anything short of a Counter Trap. Unfortunately, the Xyz Tuner Monsters aren't shown as Tuners on the cards, but oh well. Also, thanks to those of you who commented so far. I appreciate it. I've also made a few wording changes, so if you notice that the lore and actual card text don't match, just notify me. Also, I've updated the card images to the new template, so everything's nice and HD. Unfortunately, YCM is acting up on me a bit and is not giving me imgur links, so some of them are still YuGiCo images. Tell me what you think!
