Northern Sage
' These things exist and I love them. The idea is to create a REALISTIC card based on a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime and Manga series. Written cards are allowed. The winner gets a like from the loser. Go. Hootcake's card: Carnival Legend LIGHT Level 7 Warrior/Effect 2800/2000 Cannot be Special Summoned except by it's own effect. You can banish 4 Spell Cards in your Graveyard; Special Summon this card (from your hand). Once per turn: You can roll a dice; Activate 1 of the following effects depending on the result: 1: Both players return up to 2 cards in their banished pile to their deck, then draw 1 card. 2: Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower monster from your hand or Graveyard. 3: You can tribute this card; Destroy up to 3 cards on the field. 4: Both players gain 500 Life Points for each card in their hand. 5: Destroy this card. 6: Double this card's ATK until the End Phase. Prime-Ace John's card: Activate only after you Normal Summoned a level 4 or lower monster. You can tribute the summoned monster and target 1 level 5 or higher monster in your Graveyard with the same Attribute and Type of the monster tributed by this effect: Pay 1000 Life Points and Special Summon it. If the targeted monster would be destroyed, you can target the monster tributed by this effect in your Graveyard and banish it: The targeted monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot be destroyed (battle damage still applies). Both players can only activate the effect of "Rememberance of a Pharaoh's Past" once per duel.

PrimeAceJohn
Activate only after you Normal Summoned a level 4 or lower monster. Note: Main card for cards that primarily revolve around Type decks (like Thunders and such.) Tried not making it too OP with the damage infliction to self and activating its effect only once per duel.

MagnetBomb
I vote for John, hooters effect seems like its either mutual benefit or all benefit for the user, with the off chance of losing just your monster. Legend of the Pharoah is a powerful card with a good drawback and the limitation for once per a duel makes it even better.

youssef emo
I vote for John. I like the idea of the card and it's a balanced card that is powerful but in the same time it's limited. Hootcake's card is beneficial for the user more than it is for the other player

Sora1499
Hootcake's card is luck-based design, which isn't bad on its own, just a bit lackluster. The summoning condition also makes it a bit slow in most decks, and in the decks in which it isn't slow <cough> prophecy <cough> it's a big-ass 2800 beater just cuz. John's card I actually find rather neat in design, and fairly balanced when you think about it. Vote to john.
