DARKPLANT RISING
Kay. One thing to say: Game needs more Gimmick Puppets. Badly, too. Many of you probably know how IV crushed these Gary Sues into oblivion in the ZeXal anime using this badass and extremely grotesque, if not slightly insane-looking series of cards. Okay, it IS true that IV couldn't win much because every single duel he took part in after his second appearance had to end with his loss for the plot to move on, and it IS also true that most of the Gimmick Puppets are basically Larvae Moth quality, straight from Konami's card making team©, known globally for its skills at making perfectly balanced cards that always allow a peaceful format full of fun and laughter. Still, badass character is badass, and his badassness is so badass that badass badassness is...oh whatever. Now, IV and his friends in the anime is one matter, and IV and his friends in real life is another: There are only three cards of the archetype that can go in the main deck so far. Okay, if these were each Gimmick Puppet – Dragonfly, Gimmick Puppet – Centipede and Gimmick Puppet – Hornet, that would have been a different matter. The thing is, these are far, and I mean FAR in quality from them (that’s a good thing, though) so it’s quite impossible to make a Gimmick Puppet deck that can constantly work. Of course, this decklist sucks too. Yes, I go on with my trying-my-best, but don't expect this to be one of those decks you can netdeck for an instant win-and-or-disconnected-streak on DN. Okay, back on topic. The only three Gimmick Puppets that can go in the main deck so far are: Gimmick Puppet - Necro Doll Level 8 DARK Machine If this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish 1 other "Gimmick Puppet" monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Gimmick Puppet Necro Doll" once per turn. This card cannot be used as an Xyz Material, except for the Xyz Summon of a "Gimmick Puppet" monster. [0/0] There are several things positive about this: -Machine Dupe (aka the trump card of the deck) into Fan Service -It can SS itself after being milled. -It’s DARK. It’s DARK, and it likes being milled. I’M COMING OHHHHHHHH -It's actually a Gimmick Puppet. Bolded due to importance. Essentially, Necro Doll is the very core of the deck. [s]Because there’s no other card good enough to be the core after all[/s] The second guy is: Gimmick Puppet - Magne Doll Level 8 DARK Machine If your opponent controls a monster and you control only "Gimmick Puppet" monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). [1000/1000] Now, the card makers decided to troll us by not making this guy’s ATK lower than 500 on purpose, but still: -It can SS itself. -It’s DARK. -IT’S ACTUALLY A FRIGGIN GIMMICK PUPPET OH GOD JEEZ. Third but not least (since Magne Doll probably deserves that honor): Junk Puppet Normal Spell Target 1 "Gimmick Puppet" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. You can only activate 1 "Junk Puppet" per turn. -It’s a Reborn the Monster -IT’S A GIMMICK PUPPET AND OH JESUS WHAT SHOULD I F***ING DO Okay, that’s it. 15: Giant Killer, 40: Heaven’s Strings and 88: Destiny Leo are the three Gimmick Puppet daddies that can pop out in dozens with the aid of the above three [s]plus machine dupe. Actually, machine dupe does more of the popping out[/s]. Fran Ken is obviously the better option in a lot of cases, and Ennead is dancing in the corner with him. You choose what to do with those two – it’s a matter of liking. If you want to play fan service with your friends, probably a better idea not to use them, though. That’s like using a Yuma fan deck and making Steelswarm Roach with Goblindbirgh. Cards that go along with Gimmick Puppets: -Mystic Tomato Goes along good with Machine Dupe. Can act as a wall too. -Armageddon Knight Searchable with RotA for deck thinning, and can mill a Necro Doll. -Machine Duplication The ace card of the deck. Its only target is Necro Doll, but you can use your Junk Puppets, Mystic Tomatos and Call of the Haunteds to get her out fast, and with that plus this – the deck starts moving. [s]Please don’t point out how it can’t do anything after it’s moved once[/s] -Trade-In I feel 1 is best for this guy, though 2 might be fine too; gotta test. Amazing if you can draw it at the right timing, but keep in mind that Machine Dupe can’t SS stuff from your Graveyard. -Escape from the Dark Dimension An interesting tech when combined with Necro Doll. “When leaving the field” effects don’t trigger when overlaid, so combos with the Rank 8 Xyz guys. Up to here, you guys can probably guess. I thought of adding Clockwork Shikigami, but he proved to not go along with Mystic Tomato and Arm Knight, which was the reason why he was kicked out of the list. Once more Gimmick Puppets come, he’ll prolly have a chance. Konami, I beg you. Now, the variant of Gimmick Puppets I’m gonna show to you guys today has another gimmick: R-Genex. Well, to be more precise, Locomotion R-Genex, R-Genex Oracle, and R-Genex Turbo. These have got more synergy than you guys think. -Locomotion R-Genex can be created by Oracle+1 Level 8 Gimmick Puppet. If your opponent doesn’t let you go fan service and isn’t using Xyz, or you just simply wanna go troll’em, you can use him for an unexpected plus or two. Note that Locomotion doesn’t work on Xyz monsters, but you have Giant Killer to handle them anyways so they work along perfectly. -R-Genex Turbo, which allows you to SS an Oracle from your deck upon its Normal Summon, is WIND. The Gimmick Puppets are DARK. This allows Dark Simorgh, which is always a nice trick up the sleeve or occasional wrist band. …In America. -The most important part: Locomotion R-Genex is a train. It’s a f***ing tank engine. And what is IV’s real name again? Yes, Thomas Arklight. I repeat: IV is Thomas. And Locomotion is a tank engine. There you go, that’s how smart I am.

40000000000000x Main Decked Cards 17x Monsters 3x Gimmick Puppet – Necro Doll 2x Gimmick Puppet – Magne Doll 1x Dark Armed Dragon 1x Dark Simorgh 3x Mystic Tomato 2x Armageddon Knight 2x R-Genex Turbo 1x Dark Grepher 2x R-Genex Oracle 17x Spells 2x Junk Puppet 3x Machine Duplication 1x Upstart Goblin 2x Pot of Duality 1x Dark Hole 1x Monster Reborn 1x Heavy Storm 1x Trade-In 1x Allure of Darkness 3x Reinforcements of the Army 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 6x Traps 3x Call of the Haunted 1x Solemn Judgment 2x Solemn Warning

The number of: -Magne Dolls -Dark Simorghs -Arm Knights -Mystic Tomatos -R-Genex Turbos -Dark Grephers -R-Genex Oracles -Junk Puppets -MSTs (needs moar) -Maybe should run Warnings if it turns out the Upstarts are unneeded -Konami needs to print more Gimmick Puppet soon
Airride
1-2 Dark Grepher somehow to discard dead Necros in hand???
DARKPLANT RISING
Well, when writing the first part I was thinking less Arm Knights so I wasn't thinking of D Grepher, but now what there's 3 Arm and a ROTA I guess that works better. Thanks~
Agro
You get a rep for the last line. I like Trade-In @2. I mean, if you dump a Necro Doll, you can just revive it then go dupe with it anyway. You could also consider Summoner Monk. Can dump a dead Dupe and net you 2 Necro Doll in the Graveyard. Toffee.
>Reads the whole thing I died. Literally, I died. So have a +Rep Also, maybe swap Trade-In(Its a 1-off here anyway) for Sangan
DARKPLANT RISING
Hmm-it's either neg 2 random and throw in 1 Trade-In and a Monk each, or swap Trade-In with Sangan I suppose. Which one do you think is better, guise?

DARKPLANT RISING
Raging Earth is better in 30 or 40 copies, tho'.
Kazooie
If you have space, I would try Trance Archfiend to recycle those banished Puppets, but I'm not too sure about it myself.

DARKPLANT RISING
Trance Archfiend - I dunno, adding Necro Doll to the hand is sorta pointless, ya know. Fran Ken could be tech'ed in, but keep in mind when test dueling that Necro Doll has a Xyz-For-GPs-Only-Clause.
I didn't pay enough attention and realized I run more ways to discard then you do. ^^'' I figured since it's really an important card, I would like to recycle it, plus it can add Magne Doll back to hand too, which is a lot more useful. Mugendramon
How often do you actually drop Simorgh?
DARKPLANT RISING
When I draw it, I either feed its skull to Dark Grepher or summon it. I don't find it a problem right now, but that might change later - I dunno.
Toffee.
Out of curiosity, how would Tego preform here? Seems like it would work wonders.
Organized Chaos
I love this Deck. It just works really well. The only problems I found (through netdecking, sorry) were that R-Turbos and Junk Puppet clogged a bit. So... -1 Junk Puppet -1 R-Genex Turbo +1 MST. Honestly, this Deck needs to clear more backrows. My Mystic Tomatos kept getting Solemned +1 Dark Grepher. The discarding effect is really useful for getting rid of Necro Dolls and the 2nd effect can help in some cases but mostly, the SS effect. Also, Upstarts feels unneeded, Deck is honestly quite consistent without it so... -3 Upstarts +2 Solemn Warnings +1 whatever. (Magne Doll, Arm Knight, etc) Sorry if my suggestions are stupid and apologies for netdecking.
DARKPLANT RISING
I'm fine with netdecking, tho' Yeah, R-Genex Turbo is prolly better -1'd along with Junk Puppet. Dunno on Dark Grepher, though - rather add 2 MST (I don't like the idea of multiple Grephers in a deck). Upstarts seemed to be helping me, prolly gotta test more to see. Also: What's Tego? Tragoedia? I was just suggesting stuff that would keep the Monster and Spell/Trap count the same. But yeah, MST prolly would be better than Dark Grepher.
