so yeah loser gives winner 2 reps and YCM votes on the cards. First person to comment gets to set the requirements as well as participate. First to 4 votes :D (but not BS votes like "oh that picture is soooo cool; it gets my vote!"........just........no)

Here's my card :D

FLIP: Add this card to your opponent's hand. As long as this card remains in your opponent's hand, your opponent cannot Normal Summon or Set monsters from their hand. This card cannot be Set more than once per duel. If this card is destroyed by battle: inflict damage to the controller of this card equal to the number of cards in their hand X800.

Strikeman's card

Forgotten Knight
****
EARTH
Warrior/Effect
ATK 1800
DEF 1300

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card in your hand; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower EARTH monster from your Deck. If an EARTH monster would be destroyed: You can destroy this card instead.

I think I worded it incorrectly... :C I was just re reading it again and I realized I should have made the effect "while this card is in your hand you cannot normal summon/special summon monsters from your hand except this card" and then the rest of the effect...damn....

N8:

It's effect is unpredictable for example x800 w/ full hand = 4800 that's like almost an instant win for a level 4 monster? Surely you could just use this at the start of the game and give you a massive advantage? Also with it's ridiculous concept of not being allowed to Normal Summon or Set Monsters just means that they are going to have a hard time even ever going to play any cards.

6/10: It's Mehish ridiculously OP'd and even more slightly too playable, if that's even a Negative.
Strike:

It's simplistic and Mehish, their really isn't anything spectacular about it if anything it's a very bland and simple idea of just recycling the Card, the Special Summoning also makes this a ridiculously annoying technique of just replaying the same card, I dunno I just feel that you could have done a lot more with it.

6/10: Playable not OP'd but very bland and boring
So my vote barely goes to Strike although both cards could have been greatly improved at least Striker's was playable and not OP'd

n8thegr8 - Cons:

Obviously a very broken effect, and not even close to OCG standards. I can understand if the effect was supposed to be a bit different, but it still makes it annoying. "This card cannot be Set more than once per duel." That means that if both players have one in their decks, only one of them can use it. That's a huge problem.

Your next mistake was making it a FLIP effect monster, instead of a monster with an effect that activates when flipped. Reason for this being that it will not activate if your opponent destroys it before you can flip it. If this was your intention, that's fine, but it makes the card nearly useless, and severely damaging to you.

Finally: Why Level 4? I have seen cards that are weak in power but still have a high level; but this just seems unnecessary. (Especially for a FLIP effect monster.)
n8thegr8 - Pros:

Very original. With a bit of tweaking and correct wordplay, this could be an interesting burn card. There really aren't many effects that activate in the hand.
3/10 - I look forward to seeing your improvement, and better wording in the future.

Strikeman - Cons:

Standard attack. Simple level. Slightly above average effect. It's not very original or interesting. It's just one of those cards you'll collect for the sake of having them all. Not actual deck material.

Even without the picture, you can tell it's one of your run-of-the-mill Warrior cards.
Strikeman - Pros:

It's effect could be helpful, what with summoning any Level 4 (or lower) EARTH Warrior you'd like. But it is rather specific, isn't it.

OCG correct.
4/10 - Try going for something that really pops! Reach for the Super and Secret Rares! Not just the Commons and barely Rare worthy.

My vote goes to Strike. Just enough to make a difference.

1 on 1 Contests are slowly dying from lack of voters (╥﹏╥)

OT: My vote goes to Strike. Strike's card is okay and it doesn't have anything too exciting going for it. The 1800 ATK is actually the best part about it... Nevertheless, n8thegr8 is bad and will just cause a back-and-forth exchange if not dealt with correctly. With that said, the loop may not even happen considering it can do some serious damage. It's broken, go fix it. Better yet, make something else. Plain > Broken

Paracide is worded incorrectly, but if its effect goes off as intended your opponent won't be able to do much until they break maximum hand size, and they will never win if you can keep forcing them to discard cards. But since most discards are random, maintaining a permanent lock is hard, and your opponent might just run it over.

On the other hand, for those of you who are saying Forgotten Knight is mediocre...Really? Seriously?

Summoner Monk is at 2. Summoner Monk's got nothin' on this card.

Opponent has an Extra Deck Monster?
Grand Mole, boing.

Opponent has a Sangan or Lightpulsar?
D.D. Warrior (or Crazy Beast/Assailant, we have choices!).

Opponent's stalling for Exodia?
I choose you, Airbellum!

Opponent's waiting on a Hieratic OTK?
How 'bout Pachycephalo or Justice Bringer?

Opponent controls Shi En, Grandmaster, Kizan, and Great Shogun Shien?
F-Knight-> F-Knight -> Kinetic Soldier, overlay for Fairy King Alverd, bring it on home!

I'm giving it to n8 and Paracide. No final vote yet, you crazy Mezuki spammer!
