Scrooge
Hello there. I issue a challenge to anyone interested! So if you would like a bit of challenge, consider joining! There are no rules, other than that card submitted must be a Level 4 monster card. I'm not really interested in a prize. If you are, say so. Nathanael D. Striker
How about first to three votes wins? Also, a like as a prize?
Cobalt Titan 60 **** EARTH Rock/Effect ATK 1500 DEF 1800 Once per turn: Target 1 monster on your opponent's field; it loses ATK equal to its Level x150. If the targeted monster has 2000 ATK or more; switch it to Defense Position. After 3 turns; destroy this card.
Scrooge
I thouroughly accept all of your terms. My card is as follows: Lore: This card is also treated as a Machine-type Monster. During each End Phase add 1 "Mac" Counter (Max. 3) to this card. During each Stanby Phase, you may add 1 "Static" Counter (Max. 1) on a face-up monster your opponent controls. Monsters with a "Static" Counter on them can target this card only. Each End Phase, if this card has 3 "Mac" Counters on it, return it your Hand; Monsters with a "Static" Counter on them are destroyed.

newhat
Yo. Cobalt Titan's effect should say "You can". Also, does it change the monster to DEF if it has 2000 ATK after the ATK drop, or before? Either way, a Level 4 monster loses 600 ATK (reasonable, and it will probably die to this card), a Level 6 monster loses 900 ATK (dangerous, but not vulnerable to this card), a Level 8 monster loses 1200 ATK (also dangerous, but also not vulnerable to this card), a Level 10 monster loses 1500 ATK (tie with REDMD, though it depends on the after/before issue), and an Xyz Monster is totally unaffected. "After 3 turns" should be followed by a :, and you need a specific timing, like the End Phase. That self-destructive effect will rarely come into play, but kills any strategic use this card might have; you can't sit on it with Rock Launch Area and dap everything that comes out. 1500 ATK means searchability with Giant Rat--I'd rather search for Grand Mole, but it's Limited for a reason. If your opponent Summons a 1900 and attacks over this card, Rock Launch Area will protect you briefly, so this card is just barely usable. Fred Macintosh has 2000 DEF and is a DARK Machine/Zombie, but it takes 3 turns to have a significant effect. It can wall small monsters, but it's not useful against bigger ones since they'll kill it before it can stick a Static Counter on them, so it's no more effective than Bunilla at tanking. Both of these cards seem to be designed for a play style that doesn't involve Xyz or Synchro Monsters. Freddy's OCG is lacking (target for attacks or effects or both?). But Freddy is cooler in terms of flavor. FREDDY! SCROOGE!

Nathanael D. Striker
For those who care, I have an anti-meta background. And my Card Grammar is rusty from not being on for 5 months. 1-0 Scrooge.
Sander
Scrooge's card is bad, as in term with the meta and the usual thing that you have to either waste your Normal Summon on Normal Summoning / setting it and / or wasting shitton on protection cards to protect it so the Static counter effect could activate. So yeah, in terms of usefulness, Strikerman's card is far more useful, and thus, better than Scrooge's card.

Love of Ghibli
In a less profane manner I agree with panda at no point can one dedicate so many resources and time to protecting one card and even so having that card provide such a low ROI. Even in casual play it is below average. I vote for strikeman.
Nathanael D. Striker
Thanks for voting. 1-2 Strikeman
.:Blu:.
I vote for Strikeman who has, no offense, clearly the more practical and balanced card. Scrooge's card is troublesome in that you have to keep track of two types of counters and it's effect is pretty OP'd and also allows you to return the card back to the hand. It would be more balanced if you send it directly to the graveyard. Strikeman gets my vote
