Max Darkness
Four seperate ideas I'll show at once. Enjoy. (Would appreciate in-depth reviews) Effect: 2 DARK or LIGHT Level 3 Monsters This card is also treated as a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster. While this card has Xyz Material: You can select 1 "Keeper" Xyz Monster in your Extra Deck; Xyz Summon it (from your Extra Deck) by attaching this card. Notes: After trying and failing to come up with a high-Rank effect for the picture, I decided to ape Konami and make a reduced-material effect for a couple of "Chaos'" newest additions. Effect: 2 Level 4 Non-Effect Monsters When the Normal or Special Summon of a Level 5 or higher Non-Effect Monster would be negated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Negate the activation of that effect, and your opponent loses Life Points equal to the Level of the Summoned monster x 100. (This effect is treated as Spell Speed 3) Notes: This was mainly born out of a want for a good tech card that could be used by a variety of Decks myself and a friend like. Since the only real link between FIRE Geminis, "Gem-Knights", "Blue-Eyes" and "Advanced Ritual" Decks is their use of Non-Effect Monsters, the Material Conditions were relatively easy to make. In addition, since Konami is intent on making a new round of high-Level monster-destroying effects, I went for a counter to them. The final part is simply to make sure your opponent takes damage, even with "One Day of Peace" in effect. Effect: 2 Level 6 Monsters Control of Monster Cards cannot change. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls, and 1 Spell/Trap Card you control; Switch control of those targets, until the End Phase. Note: A sizeable number of recent cards focus on switching, or gaining control of your opponent's monsters ("Verz", "Magi Magi Magician Girl" and "No.11 Big Eye"), so hence the "Horus LV4"-style lock provided by this card. In addition, with Konami focussing so much effort on targeting monsters, I thought it might be more interesting to steal your opponent's more valuable Spell and Trap cards away from them for a turn. Effect: 2 Level 7 Monsters If this card is targeted for a card effect that would switch its control: Negate that effect, and target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; It loses its effect, while this card is face-up. Each turn, the first time this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; Conduct battle between this card and that target. Note: This was made after reading my way through the new Duel Terminal archetypes, so the first effect is rather obvious. The second part of it is taken from my earlier Gemini support. As for the last effect, with GENF and PHSW releasing a good number of Spell and Trap cards that only activate when a monster is attacked, this renders them useless by going straight to the Damage Step.
ragnarok1945
Centuar is like the only one that's a bit iffy I don't think it's enough for OTK despite multiple attacks since it can't attack directly it's more of the 1st effect that I'm unsure how practical it's going to get how often you think your opponent would try to take this monster?
The entire "Verz" archetype from DT14 is based on controlling your opponent's monsters. They are almost all Level/Rank 4, so aren't difficult to get out. Also, Konami seems to be making a lot of control-based cards recently, so such effects are becoming more common.

iGrowlithe
So, You probably get asked this like...a million times a day...but....um....how do you make your Exceed cards? (AKA XYZ (Hate that name so much) ) But, I do like the cards. I am pretty sure they are all balanced. The OCG on Stormcore seems a little funky. But Im sure its fine. Therrion
Prophet: The cards are powerful because Rank 5 is difficult to Summon unless you semi-dedicate some space into making them runable. Making some of the best Rank 5 Xyz monsters obtainable by 2 Level 3's (or a NS of Tour Guide) is crazy. This card would be denied or just banned when released. It would be better if it Summoned 1 from the GY and attached itself to it then. Phoenixian: Pretty nice. FIRE supporting Normal Monsters is always a plus for me, seeing the Gemini. Then the effect...Eww. You would have to make it do other stuff, not just scare your opponent to not Solemn a Level 5 or higher Normal Monster. Add an effect that can Swing of Memories a Normal Monster, then this card would be great! Love the idea though man. Stormcore: Interesting and original. Troll to a certain degree, but as a Rank 6, its a little weak. I would love to see a Rank 6 supporting Normal Monsters (Red Lotus approves this message), or at very least have devastating effects, like hitting the opponent's hand once and their field once. (Like once per turn, detach material, discard 1 card from your opponent's hand or bounce 1 card) at the very least. Centaur: Interesting. It has many arms, signaling its multiple fights also. It is also anti-Mind Controlable (and such alike effects) which is a nice addition. I would rather Summon this. Nicely done on this card, just as powerful as it needs to be, no more, nor less. I'm sorry if these aren't the best ratings, I am not a professional rater But atleast I try ^-^
"Wind-Up Dog", "Wind-Up Soldier" and "Wind-Up Warrior" are all capable of making themselves Level 5 very easily. The release of a Rank 5 "Zen" monster means that they'll continue to see use. Also, "Cyber Dragon" and "The Tricky" are both commonly used in "Monarch" Decks, so can be used if "Adreus"/"Tiras" is seen as a better option. Rank 5 is surprisingly easy to Summon since GENF. Remember also, this only gives them one shot at their effects. "Adreus" can only blow one thing up, while "Tiras" can only last one turn.
Phoenixian: Pretty nice. FIRE supporting Normal Monsters is always a plus for me, seeing the Gemini. Then the effect...Eww.
I've made enough Gemini support in the recent months not to add more to the pile. And consider with the release of "Thunder-End Dragon", Normal Decks now have a "Judgment Dragon" of their own to play around with. (And Geminis to a lesser degree) So Summoning two "Blue-Eyes" is more of a threat, so they're more likely to use "Solemn Warning"/"Steelswarm Roach"/"Absolute Crusader" against, so this will have a use.
This is justified in my view by having higher-than-average stats for its Rank, and being able to take away your opponent's last defense. If you Set something like "MST"/"Shrink" or another Trap, and then switch it with your opponent's, they'll both lose a possible defense and be left with something they can't activate, whereas you might end up with a Quick-Play/Trap that you can use. Therrion
My point of Prophet wasn't that Rank 5 is to hard to Summon, but you can't just Normal Summon Tour Guide, or activate Wind-Up Rat once to get them. (Rat can Rank 5, but again, he needs more setup, like a Magician). I just dislike Tour Guide being able to do something like a Rank 5, but I thought you meant attach the Prophet AND her materials, as you didn't detach her material prior to effect, so it was confusing to read. I apologize. Well if they negate the Effect of REDMD then this card won't be able to react, as for thats the common way to SS Thunder-End. Also, Thunder-End is only good in few situations, due to reducing from 6000atk to 3000atk and making your Champion's Vigilance not-usable at the time, and if you bomb it, only monsters go, including your probable REDMD. I just wouldn't see this card being used over things like Utopia, Roach, or Emeral (who would SS BEWD himself). Stormcore: Thats the problem, you MIGHT... And the stats match Evolzar Sollde and is weaker (Though he requires only Dinosaurs, then have like 2-3 ways to instantly perform his Summon). I would much prefer it to just send the S/T to the graveyard. Why would you switch MST over to them to take their S/T if you could just destroy it, and Shrink would impact you if they had 1400+ATK/DEF monster... It just seems weak, and I apologize for being so set on deeming it so, it just doesn't have that usefulness I think it should. Your welcome, I love Xyz monsters, and I know you to be a good card maker, so I was like "Hell, might as well."

Since Konami has yet to clarify that (as "Sacred Messiers 7" hasn't offically been released yet), I can understand the confusion.
Well if they negate the Effect of REDMD then this card won't be able to react, as for thats the common way to SS Thunder-End.
I thought it was more common to use "Ancient Rules"/"Monster Reborn"/"Birthright"/"Call of the Haunted" to get either two "Blue-Eyes"/"Tri-Horned Dragons"/"Rabi-Dragons" onto the field to make use of "Thunder-End Dragon", since Disaster Dragon Decks are going for "Super Express Cannon Gustaph Max" as their Xyz finale. And since it doesn't get rid of S/Ts, you're free to resummon the materials once you've used them to nuke the field. This mainly was designed as Normal/Gemini/Gem-Knight tech, not as a semi-staple like "Roach".
Stormcore: Thats the problem, you MIGHT... Because of the huge amount of S/T destruction Komani un-banned/limited in the last banlist, most players have returned to simply using staples for the Trap part of their Decks. As such, the probablity of running into "Mirror Force"/"Dimensional Prison"/"Magic Cylinder" has risen quite a lot compared to earlier this year. This was mainly to test an effect's effectiveness. I think it could be useful, you think it can't be. Simple as that. Therrion
Glad thats clarified. I have never seen Disaster Xyz Gustaph o.o nor have I seen Ancient Rules used in FOREVER. I know it wasn't made to be staple, but I think it should be for Normal Monsters, and if you wanted to be able to get the Blue-Eyes/etc. out without Solemns, but then go for the Xyz Summon, then they could now Solemn the Xyz Summon. Also, this card wouldn't be able to stop Solemn againist any of the Spells or Traps that would SS a Normal either, due to it isn't negating the Summon, but the card itself. This would really only save your Normal Summons... That is precisly why I wanted this to have another effect, like the Swing, and maybe make it so that effect cannot be negated. (I hope you can understand this) I guess your right, although rarely do people use D. Pris (even rarer to see Cylinder) due to the destruction. Half prefer chainable cards, and using this guy targeting a chainable card would blow. Plus you wouldnt want to Set a S/T that they can use and give it to them, and you wouldn't want them knowing your card. But I guess your right, we could go on forever with no real solution. Nice card, creative. ^-^

If they "Solemn" the Xyz Summon, then it saves "Blue-Eyes"/whatever from it, so it's sort-of doing its job. And like I said before, this was mainly to give a quad of preferred Decks a shared tech card. I will make a Normal Xyz Staple, but all four of these are currently experiments in effect effectiveness. (I haven't done many Xyzs, so I'm still finding my feet)
I guess your right, although rarely do people use D. That's what I was going for. Steal your opponent's card, possibly use it while they get nothing, and then get yours back, ready for use. I'm glad you can see it how I do.
