If you control a face-up "Arctic Spider" monster, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributes. Once per turn select and activate 1 of the following:
•Add "Spider" monsters from your deck to your hand equal to the number of Defense Position monsters the Opponent controls. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase this turn.
•Change all Attack Position monsters the Opponent controls to Defense Position and increase the ATK of this card by 200 for each monster who's battle position was changed.

Arctic Resistance -Continuous Trap-
Once per turn, during the Opponent's turn: Tribute 1 "Arctic Spider" monster you control; Special Summon 2 Camo Spider Tokens(WATER/Level3/Insect/800ATK/500DEF) to your side of the field. Each time a "Camo Spider Token" is destroyed by the Opponent, inflict 300 damage to your Opponent.

That, and because they also make Summoning Underground Arachnid quite easy.
