You'd think this would be a dream...but nope. He looked behind him, spotting the car's headlights. "You'll never catch me, you hear me! I'll escape and have someone come in and end this game!" "You're fighting a game you can't win, Sonic!" The Wiseman called from the driver's seat. After pausing for a second, he continued, "No, wait, I lied. You actually can win this. However, this is where things get fatal...are you ready to atone for what you've done?" "What the heck did I do?" "Your ignorance disgusts me! All of you inane forum-frequenters make me sick! No matter what happens, by the end of this game, I will be the winner!" What's with him? Did he go insane? Or was he always like this...hiding this manic side of him behind playful banter? Either way, I can't get caught. I don't want to play another round after what happened to Byakuya...The car neared closer and closer, prompting Sonic to dash off the dirt road and into the woods beside him. The car screeched as it came to a halt, leaving the Wiseman free to pursue him on foot. "Come on Sonic, time to play a game!" "You're crazy!" Sonic yelled back. "Go take some crazy pills back in Crazy Town you crazy crazed maniac!" The Wiseman burst into laughter, clutching his sides as he ran. "Oh, my ribs! You crack me up, kid!" Sonic stopped running, turning to face the Wiseman. Planting his feet, he locked his gaze onto the nearing Wiseman. "Then you're gonna love the punchline!" Sonic threw a punch, swinging over the Wiseman's head as he ducked and jumped up, clipping the underside of Sonic's chin with his fist. Sonic flew up in the air, stopping as the Wiseman clutched his ankle. He slammed him into the ground, snapping his fingers. From the treetops, a metallic device designed to respond to the snapping of a finger released its hold. Ragnarok descended and hung in the air, bound by rope. "Where...am I?" "You're in Yugo Woods," answered the Wiseman. "Your opponent is Chaos Sonic. Sonic, I hope you're ready to face ragnarok1945." "Ragnarok? Dude...you're a legend." "Let us go!" Ragnarok commanded. "I don't want to take part in this game anymore! Our harddrives aren't that important!" The Wiseman scratched his head. "Man...you kids were so eager to comply with us before. Maybe this direct approach is why they've become so hostile..." Sonic narrowed his eyes. "Really? Never would have guessed." The Wiseman dismissed him with a wave of his hand. Ragnarok realized he had thrown something as the ropes sliced apart, allowing him to land on the ground. Before Ragnarok could move towards the Wiseman, he pulled out a gun. "Don't get any ideas. Just one moment." The Wiseman walked behind a tree, carrying out two broad axes. "Each of you take one. Your goal is to cut down ten trees. Whoever can bring me ten tree roots is the winner. And know that I have surveillance rigged in the entire area. I'll know if you two try to cheat somehow." "I smell a catch..." "Very intuitive, Ragnarok. I tend to let my pets roam around the area here at night. And I was busy doing YMB stuff, so I forgot to give them dinner. Sooooo they might be hungry." He strolled away, humming to himself. "Oh and if you run away, I'll f*cking kill you!" Sonic stood up, gripping the ax's handle. "A-are we gonna have to use these to...to kill whatever he's letting run around?" Ragnarok grimaced as eyes began blinking in the darkness around them. First there was a wolf, then a snake, and a lion. "We will endure this challenge...and overcome it!" The Wiseman chuckled as he spun a shuriken around his finger. "It's almost all over...finally!" Chaos Sonic VS. ragnarok1945 This match ends at 1:30 PM CST, on July 16, 2011.
