[spoiler=Plot]*Loosely based off of the manga Ao no Exorcist*

 

The realm of humans, Terrene, and the realm of demons, Abaddon. Two realms coexisting on the same plane as one yet distinguished as two. Normally, the two realms would never make contact with one another but there are instances in which the dimensional fabric between the two realms distorts allowing the demons of Abaddon to force their way into the material world. In nature, demons are violent are instinct-driven, causing them to hunt down and devour human souls. Demons are also able to take control of human beings. The only way a demon would be able to enter into and take control of a human is if that demon's soul is greater in will power than the human's soul it's possessing. In the event a human's soul is stronger than the demon, the demon must forge a contract with the human in order to possess them. Once a human is possessed, the demon can control the human's body. How much control is given to the demon depends of how strong the demon's soul is or by the laws of the contract drawn between the human and demon.

 

Ordinarily, demons, once they enter Terrene, must be destroyed immediately, but in some cases, there are demons who's soul is much like that of a human's and is able to live in Terrene under strict guidelines. However, if a demon does not have such a soul then it is up to an exorcist to eliminate the demon. The Order of Nirvana, or Nirvana Ordinis, is an institution made up of more than a million exorcists in counting. Members of Nirvana Ordinis are task with the elimination of malevolent demons who enter into Terrene.

 

Satan is the ruler and creator of Abaddon. Satan's task is to rule over Abaddon and the demons who live there, and to regulate the evil souls of humans into Abaddon. Though all exorcists consider Satan to be the ultimate evil and to destroy him would mean to eliminate evil, exorcists aren't able to travel to Abaddon to eliminate Satan, neither can Satan travel to Terrene.

 

It has been more than a thousand millennia since Satan first came to rule, and soon Satan will die. His last wish is to find an heir to his throne in the form of one of his seven children, known to humans as the Seven Kin of Abaddon who each represents one of the seven deadly sins. As of recently, the prince who represents pride has been favored to be the heir to Satan's throne. Angered and resentful of his father's decision, the prince who represents greed formed a plan to get rid of his brother. Then, during one night where the dimensional fabric between the two realms began to distort, the prince of greed tricked his brother into Terrene, taking his brother's physical body and leaving his spiritual body within Terrene. During that night, the prince of greed also released some demons into Terrene as a diversion from his real intentions. Without his physical body, the prince of pride will never be able to return to Abaddon. Being knocked unconscious, the prince of pride awakens to find himself unaware of what had happened and where he was. He soon stumbled upon a human named Shin Nishihara, and this is where the story of a normal human and a demon prince begins.

[spoiler=Important Info]1) The world of Terrene is almost exactly like present-day Earth with similar technology. However, unlike Earth, Terrene has an old world and magical charm to it with lots of Japanese and English influences in the main setting (after all, it is supposed to be an anime-esque RP). The skies of Terrene have lots of grey clouds combine with sunlight to give it a more mysterious atmosphere. Abaddon is the equivalent of Hell.

 

2) The main setting of Blood Blue Kuro no Ōji is Norvea City and the Nirvana Ordinis Institution which doubles as the headquarters for exorcists and as an academy for training new exorcists.

 

3) Character creation-wise, I encourage using your creativity as much as you can. You can have a demon battle pet or any other unique abilities. Your character can even be half demon and half human. Note, there are no uniforms for the Nirvana Ordinis academy.

9. Nirvana Ordinis Institution - Also called the Order of Nirvana, this institution doubles as a headquarters and an academy for exorcists.

 

10. Soul - Each existing being, whether human or demon, has a soul with each soul have a level of will power. The stronger the soul, the more powerful the being.

 

11. Possession - When a demon enters into and takes control of a human. That human begins exhibiting horrible signs, both mental and physical. Only a demon with both its physical and spiritual body can possess a human at will.

 

12. Possession Contract - A contract that a demon makes in order to possess a human. The terms of the contract must be agreed on by both the human and the demon, and the contract must be signed by both the human and the demon using their own blood. Usually a demon does not use this contract as they can easily possess a human with a weak soul, however, if the demon has the weaker soul or the demon only has its spiritual body, it must use the contract to possess that person.

 

13. Exorcism - The ritual in which a demon is forced out of its human host's body. If a exorcist is skilled enough, that exorcist will be able to destroy the demon even without forcing it out of the human host's body, and without any harm to the human host either.

 

14. Physical Body - One of the two types of bodies that any existing being has. The physical body is the body that can physically touch objects. Without a physical body, a human or demon cannot make physical contact with anything.

 

15. Spiritual Body - One of the two types of bodies that any existing being has. The spiritual body is the body that controls the physical body. One of the spiritual body's components is the soul. Without the spiritual body, the physical body becomes nothing more but an empty shell.

 

16. Ark - A power that exclusively belongs to Satan and the Seven Kin of Abaddon. Each Ark has a different name and power depending on the demon.

 

17. Power - Powers are magical abilities an existing being can have. Powers come from the soul of the being and the stronger their soul the stronger or more abundant powers they possess.

 

18. Exorcist Rank - A rank given to an exorcist of the Nirvana Ordinis. Each rank is proof of an exorcist capabilities. The higher the rank, the stronger the exorcist. This is the Exorcist Ranks from lowest to highest:

•D-Rank - Members of this rank are the weakest. The members of this rank are usually first-year students of the academy or students who haven't unlocked their actual potential yet.

•C-Rank - A rank higher than D-Rank. Members of this rank are still amateur exorcists but they're a notch above the first-year students. Students of this rank can stand their own against average demons and even defeat them with some effort.

•B-Rank - The members of B-Rank are expert exorcists who can hold their own against some powerful demons. They are able to perform more than one exorcism at a time, proving their capabilities as an exorcist.

•A-Rank - The A-Rank members are the elite exorcists who are extraordinarily powerful and are able to destroy a demon during a possession without having to force the demon out of the host's body. A-Rank exorcists also serve as instructors at the academy.

•S-Rank - S-Rank exorcists are one in a million as these exorcists can easily be a one-man army. S-Rank exorcists aren't easy to come by and there are less than four S-Ranks currently at the Nirvana Ordinis.

[spoiler=Appearance:]A young man of average height and weight, Shin is also of a fair physique. Shin has light skin and bluish grey eyes. Shin has short bluish black hair with his bangs separated into three sections. The first two sections of his bangs are on the sides of his faces and the third section of bangs falls past his forehead region and just a little bit above the bridge of his nose. The third section of bangs curves to the right. On top of his head is a strand of hair protruding vertically from his hair. Shin's usual clothing consists of a buttoned Nirvana Ordinis Academy jacket, which is black with the jacket collar having a white trim and gold buttons. Underneath the jacket, Shin wears a long-sleeve, white collar shirt, a black tie with red and white stripes with the red stripes being thicker than that white stripes, a black belt, black slacks, and black dress shoes with white socks. [spoiler=Personality:]A generous and caring individual, Shin is a person who usually avoids conflicts. Shin tends to look on the positive side of situations no matter what, but he does also have his moments of despair. Though not much of a fighter, Shin will do his best to protect others. Shin is very intelligent, being top in his class in his studies at the Nirvana Ordinis, however his field and battle records could use quite a bit of improvement. Shin isn't a person to anger easily and usually keeps a calm and leveled head. Shin has an interest in books and is often found at the Nirvana Ordinis Grand Library reading ancient texts. Shin also has a unique ability to read and decipher ancient writings, something that only a few people at the Department of History within the Nirvana Ordinis have mastered. Though Shin may be loyal to the Nirvana Ordinis, Shin can and will break the rules of the institution if it means doing the right thing.

 

[spoiler=Bio:]Shin has no memory of his father or mother. As a baby, Shin was adopted and raised by a priest named Father Hashimoto who was a powerful exorcist of the Nirvana Ordinis until he retired. Growing up, Father Hashimoto treated Shin like his flesh and blood, and Shin truly believed that Father Hashimoto was his actual father. However, once Shin became twelve, Father Hashimoto explained that Shin was an orphan adopted by Father Hashimoto himself and that the identities of Shin's real parents are unknown. Shin didn't really mind that fact, and continued to live his life as happy as he could. However, Shin still wonders about his actual parents. When Shin was sixteen, Father Hashimoto enrolled Shin with the Nirvana Ordinis academy in hopes of Shin becoming a great exorcist who will protect Terrene from the evils of the demons in Abaddon. Shin was determined to become a great exorcist though he found himself being terrible in combat. However, Father Hashimoto was never disappointed with Shin. Later on, Father Hashimoto received an urgent message for him to leave Norvea City. Unable to tell Shin the reason for his leave, Father Hashimoto told Shin that he was going away on business, leaving Shin to stay in Norvea City. Shin didn't question Father Hashimoto because Shin understood that Father Hashimoto has his reasons. Shin is currently attending the Nirvana Ordinis academy in order to become a great exorcist.

The Exorcist Pistol is a standard-issue pistol that has the same appearance as the above pistol except the Exorcist Pistol doesn't words on the barrel and the symbol on the handle. Instead of the words on the barrel, the Exorcist Pistol has the engraving of a black sideways cross. The Exorcist Gun uses special "Holy Water" ammo that is specialized for eliminating demons. It can force out or even kill a demon possessing someone's body without harming the host. These bullets are only designed for use against demons and cannot cause any harm to humans.

[spoiler=Appearance:]Faust is a young man of about average height and weight with a fairly muscular physique. Faust has light skin and bluish grey eyes. Faust has short, messy black hair with bangs on the sides of his face and a section of bangs falling between his eyes. When Faust uses his demon powers, Faust's ears become pointy, he grows canines, his pupil becomes a slit making it cat-like, his eyes become a shining turquoise color, and he gains two blue flames that float above his head. Usually, Faust can be seen wearing his academy uniform which is basically the same uniform as Shin's except Faust wears his jacket unbuttoned and his collar shirt untucked. Faust also wears a white belt and a silver chain connected to his belt. Faust also has a variety of different outfits plus his demon lord outfit which is slender black, demonic armor with a large navy blue cape that sports a large collar. The bottom of his continuously burns with blue flames.

[spoiler=Personality:]Being the Demon Prince of Pride, Faust is naturally quite prideful, even to the point that his enemies get extremely irritated by his cockiness. Faust holds himself highly than anybody else and believes that his problems have priority over other problems no matter if how small Faust's problem is compare to a really big problem. Due to his view on others being inferior to himself, when confronted with an enemy, Faust will usually act bored or interested, going as far as to command other people to fight his battles. It is not because Faust is lazy, it is because he views his opponent as being too weak and it wouldn't amuse him any to battle. However, when someone insults Faust, he becomes easily irritated, enraged, and confrontational. Though he has many negative personality traits, Faust is usually willing to help others, though he acts as if he is reluctant to. Shin also knows that deep down Faust is not so evil, but Faust continues to act cold towards Shin and others.

 

[spoiler=Bio:]Not much is known about Faust's past except that he is the son of Satan and one of the Seven Kin of Abaddon. Within Abaddon, Faust was highly regarded as the most powerful of the seven kin and the eventual successor of Satan's throne. Faust's brother, Voland who is the Demon Prince of Greed, was always viewed as second to Faust which caused dislike and even hatred between Faust and Voland. Voland, who was one human year older than Faust, believed he should be the true successor to the throne. Because of his greedy nature, Voland needed to become ruler of Abaddon, and so devised a plan to get rid of Faust. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to kill Faust and vice versa, the only thing Voland could do was sent Faust to Terrene. After Faust had awoken in Terrene, he met Shin.

Enhanced Speed: Faust has extraordinary speed, enough so to make it appear as if he is teleporting when actually he is moving at rapid speeds so fast that human and demon eyes can't keep up.

[spoiler=Weapon(s):]Bane of Purgatory: One of the legendary Four Swords of the Apocalypse wielded by one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Bane of Purgatory is a weapon of mass power. The Bane of Purgatory was wielded by the horseman Conquest. Bane of Purgatory appears to be a katana with a circular golden tsuba, or cross guard, adorned with four tiny skulls with each skull wearing what appears to be a crown. The Bane of Purgatory also has a dark blue sheathe with gold decorations and a dark blue hand. A crimson tassel is attached to the end of the handle. Bane of Purgatory is a weapon of mass power that is said to be indestructible and extremely powerful, enough so to be able to cut down one hundred demons with one slash. Bane of Purgatory, even if destroyed, can repair itself using a part of its wielder's soul, and it can take on the powers of its wielder.

 

[spoiler=Power(s):]Ark of Power: As one of the Seven Kin of Abaddon as well as a Demon Prince, Faust is able to use a special kind of power called "Ark" which is extremely powerful demon powers. Ark of Power allows Faust to create and manipulate blue flames at will which he usually covers his Bane of Purgatory in. These blue flames are extremely powerful and destructive, engulfing and destroying anything in its path. These blue flames cannot be put out by regular means e.g. throwing water or dirt onto the flames. However these flames can be put out with the right powers. Also, these flames are a reflection of Faust's soul. The stronger Faust is, the stronger his flames are and vice versa. When using his flames with his Bane of Purgatory, Faust can cover Bane of Purgatory in the flames and slash at the enemy, engulfing their wounds in flames in the process. He can also slash his Bane of Purgatory to create a wave of blue flames towards his enemies which can cause a great explosion. In Chapter 13 "Brothers", it is revealed that the Ark of Power has the capacity to become infinitely powerful though it is unknown at the time how that is achieved.

 

Body Part Transformation: Faust can manipulate parts of his body into its demon form which can be used to attack the enemy. Faust can use his demon tail, which is extremely powerful, to whip the enemy and even impale them. However, Faust cannot perform his full body transformation.

Personality(3-4 Lines): Tatsuya seems like just about every other punk. He has a short temper and is extremely violent. He’s even been compared to demons. He has the tendency to be an uncaring a**hole but if he gets to know a person well enough he can be a pretty nice and caring guy…but still may be a bit of an a**hole every now and then…or a lot.

Bio: 500 years ago Tatsuya’s family once used to be one of the most powerful families in all of Terrene. What made his family so powerful was a pair of swords with names long forgotten that was passed down from generation to generation. It’s said that not only would one cut from this blade destroy even the most powerful demon but just being the rightful owner of the two swords would have drastically increased abilities and be able to control the power of the swords. Satan hated the swords so he sent an army of 1000 of his most powerful minions. The ancestor fought bravely but in the end was overwhelmed and defeated. The demons opened a rift to Abaddon and tossed it in so that Satan could lock it away but he didn’t realize the swords could only be kept away from its rightful owner for a certain amount of time. 484 years later Tatsuya was born. When Tatsuya turned 10 Satan couldn’t contain the swords any longer and they just appeared in front of him. He named the swords Soul Slasher and Nulled Demon. He’s been training ever since with the two swords.

Although I’ve said they were swords in the bio they are just the hilt. There is absolutely no blade. In fact he normally isn’t even shown with his swords.

The energy given off by Tatsuya’s soul (see powers) is purified by the handles and then it is emitted out in a burst of energy. Similar to a light saber but the energy is less controlled and seems a bit unstable. Because of the power needed he can only go for about five minutes at the size of a normal katana until he’s exhausted.

 

 

[spoiler=Powers]

1) Tatsuya’s soul emits a powerful energy during combat that he uses for multiple purposes. When used normally it is shown to be red with black spots in it.

2) He can emit the energy from anywhere on his body or from his two swords. It’s not nearly as strong normal though as it is when purified by the two swords.

3) He can control whether emitted energy emits a force back at him or not.

[spoiler=Personality:] Minawe isn't.....Well let's just say not the most coordinatedperson in the world. Infact it is a proven fact that she has no coordination at all. She falls so often it is a wonder how she s alive and not dead or something. Even on missions she has only survived because of her clumsness, and luck. One other interesting thing is that she is extremely lucky. You could have a deck of cards with only one red color card in there. Tell her to pick the red card and she will every time. It's almost surreal how lucky she is. Another odd trait of her's is that she is terrible at peoples names, often calling someone by the wrong name, while swaring that's the name she was told. Other than that, Minawe is a very caring and energetic individual, willing to go out of her way to make everyone happy. She has exellent memory and proble solving skills, but gets nervous and bran dead whenever she is put on the spot. All of her intelligence goes out the window all because of stage fright. Minawe is afraid of anythin that cralls and will go kung-fu action jesus (Avatar abridge dabue FTW) on all she see's with a slipper she somehow has concield on her person.

 

 

[spoiler=Bio:] Minawe was born to a family whome was well known for being exceedingly ell versed in the ways of the exorsist. So you could imagine the level of expectations already placed on her the second she was born. Her parents were very strict, and extremely schedual based people. They wanted to be sure that Minawe got the best training and instruction she could get in preperation for her days as an exorsist. As she grew older her days traing increased and most of her time was spent doing repetitive techniques. It was when she was 3 did her tenacious ability of falling over nothing emerged. However, her parents believed it would go away. Sadly it only grew worse as Minawe got older.

 

When it was finally time for Minawe for enroll into the school her parents were egerly awaiting the results. Her father was instantly put ino the A-rank as was her mother. So you could imagine thelevel of disappointment herf parents held for Minawe when she returned how just barely making it into D-rank class. So I guess you could say she'sthe Black Sheep of the family. While it doesn't bother her, she is often looked at as the failure of her family. The one blemish to their name. Minawe know's her family is extremely disappointed in her, which is why, she figured, they put so much time and extra effort into her 5 year old brother whom, even at that age, is showing a natural born talent for it.

 

Things only got worse when Minawe was 13, her brother was 1 at the time, and she came home only t have made a contract with a demon. The way they found out was her eyes. Minawe has always had black eyes, but that night, after making the conract, her eyes changed and turned amber, sometimes even mistaken for a light shade of pink. Her family saw that as a slap to the face, and while Minawe knew that it was her kind heart that compelled her to help the wounded and dying demon. It wasn't the fact that her parents and everyone saw her as a faliure that truly bothered her - bcause that was hard enough- but it wasthey way they did it. Acting friendly to your face, while both you and that person knows that they wll be talking about you, and whispering behind your back. That was the worse part.

1.Power Share - Minawe is able to share her strength with the others around her, by spreading her "soul" to her comrads. After performing this ability she is always left weakened. She has to becareful because while giving some of her "soul" energy to another, that person can start to pull too much which can cause death to Minawe and in turn Rei.

 

2.Weak Lightening - She is able to control lightening in a very basic manor, due to the Rei also being able to control lightening. She can creat small lightening attacks, however since they are small they are also weak. So what she normally does is, use her lightening abilities in conjuction to her Chakrams. Giving them more destructive power and speed.

 

3. Weak Regeneration - Cuts, brusis and semi-major cuts will be healed instantly. Other than that, she simply has faster than normal healing. So for things that would take weeks to heal would only takes days.

[spoiler=Personality:] Rei is a rather cold and seemingly uncaring individual. Expecially when it somes to Minawe. He alway has this "I-couldn't-care-less" look on his face, which makes him appear as if he's alway bored. He hates doing work, and instead does the bre minimum just to get by. Surprisingly enough, he's quite the smooth talker when he wants to be, and very sneaky. When it comes to Minawe he acts completely narcissistic, and appears to find enjoyment on picking out her faults. There are those rare times when he is nice but they never last long. To be truthful he is never really helpful to her and instead puts her down usually by calling her "idiot" or "stupid" instead of her actual name. Of course there is a little part of him that is protective over her, and when it comes down to the wire he would almost anyting to protect her, while somehow making it seem like saving her was only benificial to him.

 

 

[spoiler=Bio:] Even when Rei was in Abaddon he has always had this lazy and laid back attitude to him. He hated doing anything that required physical work. Most of the time he could be found somewhere sleeping in the shade. Why he chose to travel to Terrene is unknown. Maybe he just wanted a change of scenery for a bit. See how the other half lives. While in Terrene he kept to himself, and didn't bother anyone. Basically doing exactly what he was doing in Abaddon, which was the bare minimal for survval.

 

It was on his 3 day did a selfrighteous exorsst come to him claiming that he has been accused of harming a human. Ofcourse Rei knew that he didn't, but the exorsis seemd hellben on killing Rei. So with no other choice Rei fought, ad Rei lost. Before the final blow could be delivered Rei fled, the exorsist's weapon still lodged in Rei's chest, in his heart. He knew his death was coming soon, and yet he didn't mind. He didn't mind dying in such a beaceful place. It was then a young girl walked up to him in obvious distress. It took him some time to realize her cause of worry was because of him. He tried to shoe the girl away, but she wouldn't listen. Insisting that she help him even if he was a demon.

 

It shocked him that she knew what he was and chalked it down to her being a exorsist in training. The longer he stared at the girl the more he became intrigued by her dark eyes which shone with sincerity. The more he stared he began to see sadness, and another that he was more familiar with, loneliness. Why would a young girl like this have such feelings? The entire time he was in Terrene he saw the humans acting so happy and joyous. To see this girl with such sad eyes made him want to know why. It was because of that did he make a contract with her.

Her smile is always giving the impression of Maka always having a secret agenda, and a sick enjoyment of whatever she is watching - mostly being death, or torture. Her giggle gives the feeling of being mocked or patronizing, and she also loves toying and annoying those around her. When in battle she kees this personality of not taking anything seriously, and toying with her opponents. However, this is only when she is "calm". Maka always keeps her eye's closed so her eyes are rarely seen, and those who have are all dead. The second her eyes open her entire demenor changes. She is strictly out for blood and nothing and no one will get in her way. If her allies get in the way she will not hold back her attack no matter who it is. She also becomes slightly...Deranged and mad - by that I mean psycopathic crazy.

It had to have been for her to have turned out the way she did. Maka isn't one to dwell in the past, so she isn't phased at not knowing where she comes from. There is, however, one memory that doesn't want to leave her mind. It's of a little boy that is seen always holding her hand. The boy looks remarkably like Maka, and is never far from her. It was one dark night when he was suddenly ripped from Maka's life forever in the most horrible of ways one could imagine. It was that time that Maka had found her love for death. Watching the life from her brother's eyes fade the way it did gave her such a thrill that she had to see more. From there the psycopathic Maka we know today was born.

The blade itself is pitch black, with the body being a deep rich purple. Other than that the scyth is the same as the picture. Also the eyeballs will often swivel around in the scocket.

Reaper's Gate - This ability is probably Maka's most versatile ability, giving her three different uses. The gate I opened by slashing through the air causing a tear in the space/time frapric, or stabbing the scythe into the ground. The first use, which is what is usually seen, is the ability to open a gate for skeleton soldiers - all of which are controled by Maka- to pass through to kill her enemies. Another use is to open the reaper's gate and push her enemy inside trapping him within the the gate's demension. The person is killed instantly and becomes another soldier to add to Maka's collection. It's last use is as a quick mode of travel. By opening the gate she could use it to travel long distances within seconds. Even across dimensions.

 

Reaper's Curse - A black smoke that is spewed from the eyeballs on the scythe, that eventually covers the entire weapon. If he smoke enters a person's body by either inhalation, or being cut by the scyth then they are instantly poisoned. It first attacks the immune system and lungs making it heard to breath and for the body to try and fight it off. It then began to attack the senses, and finally the heart. The posion can kill a person from as little time as 3 minues or as long as a week. The smoke can be changed into a liquid as well, which is also expelled by the eyeballs on the scythe. Maka is completely immune to the posion.

 

Levitation/Flight - Whenever Maka is seen she is hardly ever standing on her own feet, usually hovering inches from the ground, or sitting on the scythe lengthwise. Her speed is tramendous, and there aren't many people who can keep up with her.

Shin and Minawe also struck gold as they were able to summon they're own powerful little demons. With a sudden and unexpected call about a demon possession in the Fuyu District, Tatsuya, Minawe, and Rei made their way over to defeat the demon while Faust made his way over there for his own purposes. Shin, not wanting Faust to do anything rash also chase after him. But unbeknownst to all of them, the demon they were about to face will be more challenging than anything they've encountered before.

After leaving the scene, Kin was then confronted by Maka and his "Awakened" younger brother, Azayl. Disagreeing to hand over the Bane of Purgatory for his own reasons, Azayl orders Maka to obtain the Bane of Purgatory by force. Now, with a battle beginning in each dimension, in the end which force will prevail?

Personality(3-4 Lines): Tatsuya seems like just about every other punk. He has a short temper and is extremely violent. He’s even been compared to demons. He has the tendency to be an uncaring a**hole but if he gets to know a person well enough he can be a pretty nice and caring guy…but still may be a bit of an a**hole every now and then…or a lot.

Bio: 500 years ago Tatsuya’s family once used to be one of the most powerful families in all of Terrene. What made his family so powerful was a pair of swords with names long forgotten that was passed down from generation to generation. It’s said that not only would one cut from this blade destroy even the most powerful demon but just being the rightful owner of the two swords would have drastically increased abilities and be able to control the power of the swords. Satan hated the swords so he sent an army of 1000 of his most powerful minions. The ancestor fought bravely but in the end was overwhelmed and defeated. The demons opened a rift to Abaddon and tossed it in so that Satan could lock it away but he didn’t realize the swords could only be kept away from its rightful owner for a certain amount of time. 484 years later Tatsuya was born. When Tatsuya turned 10 Satan couldn’t contain the swords any longer and they just appeared in front of him. He named the swords Soul Slasher and Nulled Demon. He’s been training ever since with the two swords.

Although I’ve said they were swords in the bio they are just the hilt. There is absolutely no blade. In fact he normally isn’t even shown with his swords.

The energy given off by Tatsuya’s soul (see powers) is purified by the handles and then it is emitted out in a burst of energy. Similar to a light saber but the energy is less controlled and seems a bit unstable. Because of the power needed he can only go for about five minutes at the size of a normal katana until he’s exhausted.

1) Tatsuya’s soul emits a powerful energy during combat that he uses for multiple purposes. When used normally it is shown to be red with black spots in it.

2) He can emit the energy from anywhere on his body or from his two swords. It’s not nearly as strong normal though as it is when purified by the two swords.

3) He can control whether emitted energy emits a force back at him or not.
