Lexadin
Well I was looking for an pic on Pixiv, and I discovered a series of images that kinda looked like evolved versions of each other. Expecially combined with an img from Jazin Kays archive. And seeing as most LV monsters are weak and/or useless. I decided to make some myself. These cards can burn mind... Eh, bad joke. Kyng's Old Account
Some LV monsters are Epic, such as Horus. Anyway, onto your card. Not bad! Perfect OCG + Epic Pics (First 2) + Unique & Balanced Effect= 10/10 You win a rep

Nightmare Moon
I think they should be FIRE monsters 'cause of the "Scorched" part of their name. Y'know, like the scorching heat of the flames...

Immortal Chaos
Maybe you could add a line that says they could be treated as FIRE attribute monsters as well? That would save you the headache of asking everyone then trying to decide once and for all. Just a thought. Btw, love the cards, definate ones I would run 9.9/
Lexadin
@Classic: It's opponent, without the caps http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Lucius_LV8. Also the summoning sentence is copied from Dark Lucius LV 4, so it's correct OCG. But thanks for the extensive review. @Dark Hero Flashman: That's actually a good suggestion, I think I'll do that. ragnarok1945
I'm surprised lv8 can be summoned by more than just lv6's effect the burn effect for it is too much though yes you did say half the atk, but if you're going to do that, you should also say using that effect means you'd have to skip your battle phase 8/
Lexadin
Yep, that's to don't make it a complete dead draw. And it loses it's effect when summoned any other way. Skipping the battle Phase, noted. Thanks for your comment.
Master White
I'm loving all these effects: Level 4 is good on its own. The others are increasers pretty much, just like all other levels. But mainly there all original effects and etc. So, I'm glad to see more level monsters to, I'm liking how they are and etc. So, i'm glad all this goes and etc. Well, I know its not much as expected, but I really like these cards. They give some use for people that like Burn effects....lol..... Hey, now I got monsters to go in my Spell/Trap burn deck, thank you....lol.....But seriously, they are good enough to have you know who break into konami and make.....lol..... .99/100 99% A++ Almost perfection, and I hate using that word. Lexadin
@Master White: Thanks for the comment. Anyways... about the cards. They are pretty interesting. the burn is going to be hard to do. You need to wait a turn to evolve the first one and only if you showed a monster. Its probably going to stay there for a couple of turns if it doesn't get killed first. Second one has more chances but it can't evolve if you didn't evolve from it to begin with, making it harder. And you still are to get the good parts of this. A lot of monsters nowadays like to be sent to the Graveyard and in the Main Deck they have little ATK by themselves so, I doubt the burn will be too big just yet. Too bad Level Up! doesn't count as they evolving by themselves. I think you should do it like with Ultimate Insect LV that negate their ATK-weakening effects if they weren't evolved but can still evolve by themselves. The last one make it worth. You see your opponent's next cards, get to banish their monsters and the damage will sometimes actually surpass 1000. I think stating original ATK is unnecessary because monsters usually don't change their ATK outside the field. In fact, I don't know of any that do. Well in any case. I think they are good in terms of balance. ~Nice set~
Lexadin
Well it's true that it might get hard lvling LV4 and LV6 up, however as they have quite the burn effects I'd say they fit with Burn Decks. Who often use Stall cards. Giving it more chances to evolve. Also as a lot of Deck current days are monster heavy (or at least ballanced with 20 mons) it increases the chances of it evolving aswell. Yeah, but the "Ultimate Insects" are 1 of the 1st LV monsters, all of the newer ones have simulair effects (ok they also suck, but still). Anyway, thanks for your comment. DARKPLANT RISING
No, Lexadin, don't listen to ragnarok. He's bad at the game. I'll explain later why I said this. Now onto the cards. See, I do love these. Though Jazin Kay stuff are overall overused, strangely I haven't seen these pics being used much. The effect. Well, first, LV 4. This is certainly has some burning potential, but it's highly situational, and now that Synchros dominate meta, not many decks include many monsters with high ATK. To make it even worse, if you have Convulsion of Nature, I'm pretty sure you can't use its effect since it's already revealed. You have to rely on luck to use it, and even if you suceeded the best you can get is the 1400 from DAD or something. Additionally, in order to evolve it also needs to use its effect, which means it can't get awesome synergy with man-eating vegetables and extraterrestrial turtles. And a monster with 1000 ATK can never hope to live a turn unless you really protect it. Not that you'd want to. LV 6 has pretty bad stats. Since anyone except Yuma'll play it in DEF, it'll most likely be a 2200 wall. But hey, that means even Chaos Sorc can beat it. And well, the current meta's powerline is at 2500. Until recently it was 2400, but Shi En changed all that. Its effect doesn't activate if you tribute summon it (wait, except you never will,) and its effect doesn't give a field advantage. LV 8 isn't any real better, though it does serve the purpose of a near-unbreakable wall. The problem's that Brionac and all his white-bordered friends can all kill it. Its effect does say "GURANTEED TO BURN" right on itself, but it's still not enough. Overall they're really underpowered. Giving it no-BP is just stupid. This is why I hate ragnarok. You get it now? Well, up to here I'm just some stupid guy who does nothing but hate. I'll just in addition give advice. I say just change these stuff: 1. Raise overall stats. Make LV4 1500/2000, LV 6 2200/2600, and LV 8 2900/3200. Hey, Caius's there, wouldn't hurt. 2. Remove LV 6's "If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of 'Scorching Eyes LV4'" part. 3. I know this is really painful, but I say make their effects randomly select from your opponent's hand. In this case it would be: LV4-Put it back in regardless of Monster, Spell or Trap LV6-Discard it if it was a Monster LV8-Discard it regardless of Monster, spell or Trap Or something. Simple information and Life Point advantage are nothing these days. Hope I helped.
Lexadin
Mhh, I see where you're going. @1: Well I gues I can raise thier stats somewhat. @2: Meh, why not. @3: I'd rather not. As it would basicly give it a totaly different purpase. MillBurn is my intent (yes I know Mill is good for a player these days), though I might change thier effects a bit so they'll Mill even if it's a non-mon. Thanks for your extensive comment. EDIT: I boosted them a bit now.

Stan Alda
The pics are pretty good. Jazin Kay's art style isn't my favorite, but it's definitely of higher technical skill (anyone who has seen my repurposed Google Images artwork would know). The effects seem pretty good, but one part of LVL 6 and 8s' effects bothers me: If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of "Scorching Eyes LV4/6"... Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mean you can summon it via means other than the normal leveling process? Shouldn't it be This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Scorching Eyes LV4/6"...? Virtually every LV monster I've seen has the latter effect. Lexadin
Actually Jazin Kay doesn't make the images themselfs, but only collects them in an archive. It is true that "LV" monsters used to have that effect, but the newest ones like the "Dark Lucius" or the "Allure Queen" monsters introduced a new kind of "LV monsters. And that's the 1 I'm using. Though both ones are correct.
