I'll go with the Spellcaster requirement.

Divine Intervention

[Normal Trap Card]

When your opponent attacks a monster you control, discard 1 card and remove from play the attack target. Special Summon 1 Spellcaster-Type monster with ? ATK from your Deck. The Level of the Special Summoned monster becomes 8. During the next Standby Phase, the Level of the Special Summoned monster becomes 1.

Spellcaster's Retreat

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only when a Spellcaster-Type Monster would be destroyed by battle. Discard 1 Spell Card from your hand to return it to your Deck. Then shuffle your Deck.

I'm not a big fan of either. Kirby's seems to only support Fortune Ladies, which isn't much of general "Spellcaster" support, and Striker's is one of the least viable -2s I've seen for a while. I'm iffy on Kirby's, but it gets my vote.

Also, I don't know if this was intended, but the RFGing bit won't trigger Lighty.

Spellcaster's Retreat

Quick-Play Spell Starts at -1 since you lose the card itself

Activate only when a Spellcaster-Type Monster would be destroyed by battle. Discard 1 Spell Card from your hand Now a -2 since you lose another card to return it to your Deck. A card that would leave the field (by battle) now... leaves the field (by this card's effect). There's very little gain to having it in the Deck. It's probably worse than being in the Graveyard. Still a -2. Then shuffle your Deck.

Just thought I'd show you why it was a -2.

Yeah, like Griffin, I must admit both would never be used, and that's why I'm reluctant upon voting for either one. But anyways, I go for Kirby's since it's slightly better of the two.

Striker obviously doesn't know how effective D-Prison is, and how heavy a discard cost can possibly be. Also even the suckish Hero Barrier is better than this load of - no, whatever. Anyways, just learn the friggin meta. All I have to say.

And as for Kirby, well yeah, Fortune Ladies. The only reason I went for him was how it removes from play the attack target, which gives a chance for Light to bring out Fire and burn the strongest monsters with a surprise element. It's better than using Interdimensional Matter Transporter against attacks. Otherwise? No one'll use it.

From my eyes both cards need improvement, but Kirby seems to actually understand a concept, so that was the border. Striker could add a "destroy 1 card". Kirby could summon back the RFP'ed monster in the Standby Phase, and give a Gravity effect to the summoned Fortune Lady. Just stop making the unusable.
