Not a bad style of jutsu, but unless you have a puppets like Sasori's then you rely mostly on range, and if your opponent breaks the puppet you are out of luck. Of course if you had a partner like when Lady Chiyo attached Chakra strings to Sakura there is always that. Now, like i said it is a good jutsu and not one to be taken lightly but I think that the byakugan is pretty good also. I mean coupled with Neji's rotation ability and his air palm it is an amazing jutsu.

true talos i i know that many things can go wrong with the wooden puppet but i like that they always have secret wepons and they have a secret move of thiers that can be deadly or just to weaken their oppennet so it is a very good jutsu. like you said there is always human puppets as well
