Lore:

"Dark Magician" + "Gaia the Fierce Knight"

When this card is Fusion Summoned, pay 2000 Life Points to search your Deck for a "Dark Magician Girl" and a "Dark Magician" and Special Summon them. If the "Dark Magician Girl" and "Dark Magician" are destroyed, this card gains 300 ATK. You cannot Normal Summon monsters as long as this card remains on the Field. You can Tribute this card to Remove from Play the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck. As long as this card remains in the Graveyard, this card's name is treated as "Dark Magician".

When this card is Summoned, you can flip 1 face-up LIGHT monster on the field into face-down Defense Position. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 for each other "Lights Bane Ninja" face-up on the field. When a LIGHT monster your opponent controls attacks this face-up Defense Position monster, you can pay 800 Life Points to negate the attack. When this card is destroyed by a LIGHT monster your opponent controls and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 800 Life Points to remove this card from play to Special Summon 1 "Lights Bane Ninja" from your Graveyard.

Voting:

Dingo's card: It is slightly overpowered I think and most of the effect is Unnecessary especially the last part of it. also you could just tribute summon lets say... Dark Magician of Chaos then it gains 300 ATK?!

Mysteryman's Card: I believe is balanced and has a creative effect though I do not see the point of the last effect...

Im sorry Dingo, however, my vote goes to Mysteryman...here's why!

 

Dingo's Card

 

Your card was a tad bit overpowered considering that you get 3 monsters in one summon for only 2000 LP and if you are running a true Spellcaster deck, those monsters could gain a lot of attack really fast. The point of adding an attack gain effect on your monster doesn't help either. Although, I do think that the Normal Summon halt really helped balance out the card a bit but not by much!

 

Mysteryman's Card

 

Your card was much more balanced and had a great effect going towards the Light-attributed monsters. It's not too overpowered or underpowered and if it is, it is just barely. The only thing that I got confused over is the fact that you remove one of those from play to get another one to just get rid of again. Remember, you can only have 3 copies of any card at a time. That would make the summoning of those cards pointless. But other than that, much more balanced, like I said.

ok to the ones who dont know understand the last effect of my card...

 

lets say , for example, u use dark grephers effect to send dark monster from hand / deck .. and u can choose "Lights Bane Ninja" to send to gy..

 

and if u have Lights Bane Ninja on field and its destroyed by Light .. u can then special summon the one you sent to gy to counter the Light monster on the field... flip it in face down defense... if u cant destroy it by battle .. then put ninja in defense position to negate any attacks from the light monster...

 

i kno its farfetched.. but i think i should tweak it now that i realize it

 

but anyway thanks for votes for win , and good try anyway dingo B)
