Reinforcements of the Twisted Destiny

Well some of you might remember the brilliant idea me and Tom. had of using the turn count to make an archtype. From there came the "Twisted Destiny" archtype a pure DARK archtype that focusses on abusing the turn count for thier effects.

However imo there wheren't enough monsters in it. SO I decided to make some extra support.

If you want to check the original thread. Click here.

If you want to see what cards are in this thread. Scroll below.

During each of your End Phases, increase your Life Points by the combined amount of the number of "Twisted Destiny" monsters in your Graveyard and the turn count x 100. Whenever a "Twisted Destiny" monster is send to the Graveyard, move the turn count forward by 1. (The turn continues as normal.)

Increase the ATK of all "Twisted Destiny" monsters by 300; If the turn count is 20 or higher, increase the ATK of all "Twisted Destiny" monsters by 600 instead. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can move the turn count back by 4 to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Twisted Destiny" from your Deck to the field. (The turn continues as normal.)

Activate only while you control a Level 9 or higher "Twisted Destiny" monster. Destroy all cards you control except for Level 9 or higher "Twisted Destiny" monsters. Then move the turn count forward by the amount of cards destroyed by this effect. (The turn continues as normal.)

Pic from Jazin Kay's Archives.

Move the turn count back by 13. (The turn continues as normal.) Take control of 1 monster your opponent controls. It is now treated as a "Twisted Destiny" monster and cannot be used for a Synchro Summon. If the turn count is 30 or higher, you do not have to move it back.
Pic from Jazin Kay's Archives.

Each time the turn count is moved forward by a card effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Chaos Spawn Token" (Pyro-Type/DARK/Level 5/ATK 100/DEF 950). A "Chaos Spawn Token" cannot be used as a Synchro Material and cannot declare an attack.

If the turn count is 13 or higher, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. This card inflicts piercing damage. Once per turn, you can move the turn count back by 5 to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. (The turn continues as normal.)

You can move the turn count back by 8 to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card that would destroy a "Twisted Destiny" monster(s) you control and destroy it. (The turn continues as normal.) Field Spell Cards you control cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Disgraced Shaman is pretty broken IMO. After your fifth turn (ie 10 turns), you'll be gaining at least 2000 Life Points per turn. And because it moves the turn count forward each time a "Twisted Destiny" monster is thrown the Graveyard (which includes discarding and sending from the hand), you can get the count up to 15 easily (so approx. 3000 LP per turn).

Vicious Captain is fine.

The Lord's Final Command is a good end-gamer; but otherwise not very useful.

Altar of the Lords is presumably for use with "Final Countdown". It should have to tribute two "Twisted Destiny" monsters.

Corrupted Morals shouldn't take permanent control of the monster; just for the turn it's activated.

Chaos Spawner seems rather underpowered, since the tokens can only be used for costs and Tributes and it itself can't hold off many Level 4s.

Dishonest Knight is okay. Nothing more to say.

Harsh Vanguard could be abused easily, since the activated Spell/Trap doesn't have to target "T.D." monsters. You might want to reduce the cost and change it to S/Ts the target.

Overall, some cards are overpowered, but most are average.

Mh, well I was looking from the point that most duels don't take that long, but 200 for each monster and TC might be a bit over the top. I'll see what I can do.

Well it's main use is for FC so yeah.

Of course.

Actually I find controling it forever fine. Though I might increase the cost though.

Huh, I really expected this one to be OP. But if its UP, then I'll raise its stats somewhat.

Well seeing as it needs a "T.D." monster to be effected. It seems to me it would be ballanced enough, right?

Again thanks for your honest review.

It's rare for my duels (including meta built Decks) to last less than 6 turns.

Really? Instant and permanent control of your opponent's monster is fine? Compare "Mark of the Rose".

Not really, since you'll probably have only "T.D." monsters and some DARK staples. Perhaps change it to being destroyed. 'Affected' is just too broad a defense to give to a Level 4.

Huh, anyway that's why I lowered the heal.

Well seeing as you need to have been dueling for at least 13 turns and that it cannot be used for a Synchro Summon. It seems ballanced enough for me. As it will probebly only be used to use it against your opponent or for a Tribute of some kind.

Hm, if you put it that way. It might be a tad to Powerfull indeed. I'll see what I can do.

7 turns. And with the "T.D.s" moving the turn count forward when they please, it might be less. Also, this archetype seems more focussed on tributing than Synchroing, so the restriction isn't much.
