Welcome YCMers and card makers alike, to a new archetype me, [b]+LeoMence[/b], will be introducing to you all to look at, comment on and to preview new cards being added to [b]Leo's Created Card Game[/b]. The [b]LCCG[/b] was made due to the lack of a good and active CCG on YCM. It started off with great success and has been going on for 6+ months, with active members and a good environment. Hopefully you consider taking the time to walk down to [b]Written Cards[/b] and check out our thread.

This archetype will be focused on the idea of being about to control the field with beatsticks and high defensive walls, giving you good control of the field and the game. They are a decently fast archetype, not an archetype that takes 10 turns to set up, which would be almost impossible to win with considering the speed of both the [b]TCG[/b] and the [b]LCCG[/b]. Most effects of the [b]Magyk[/b] monsters are based on gaining quick pluses and field advantage with a cost that might affect them later in the game, if not at that moment. I am not going to give away any of those so you can see them for yourself. This deck will be made to keep [b]Mezzo[/b] in check, being able to counter their swarm and keep up your field advantage. It will also be able to stop [b]Phoenixians[/b], with there ability to tear through life points with equip spell cards, allowing them to attack you directly, blocking that ability.

For updating in this thread, I want one or two comments between posting of cards, to help keep interest in this archetype. I will take any ideas or suggestions on fixes, new card ideas or pictures you would like to see in the archetype. Not all of these cards will be released into the [b]CCG[/b]. Some will be introduced in [b]Set 5: Magyk Rejuvenation[/b], [b]Leo Terminal 2: Goddess Oppression[/b] and future sets to be determined.

Another feature for this archetype will be in a different post in the thread. It will be analyizing the cards, counters and decks that this archetype has or can make. This will be updated much later, once I have a good amount of cards in this archetype, and the [b]Set 4: Divine Rebirth[/b] has been released into the [b]LCCG[/b]. I will also update it once [b]Leo Terminal 1: Darksoul Avengement[/b] hits the VB Program and once these cards are actually released in the CCG. Keep your eyes open, because this archetype is something ready to be discovered!

Also, I would like to credit people here for the wonderful images I have used. I have used images from Jazin Kay's Photobucket Archive and .Supervillians YCM Card Image Archive. Thanks to these people and the many more to come, who's images I will be using throughout this archetype.

When this card is Normal Summoned, switch it to Defense Position. Once per turn, if your opponent Special Summons your monster, it cannot use its effect for the rest of the turn.

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of a "Magyk" monster. When this card is Summoned, pay 1000 Life Points. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate the effect of any monster they control.

So, so far we have:

Magyk Blocker - Useful for anti swarm and synchro, which I always like.

Magyk Shooter - Kinda like Skill Drain, but only affects Ignition effects. It's good. The cost and requirement is good as discourages running inside swarm (well, as far as we know, because I can't see which Magyk cards can SS yet), and also encourages having enough LP and setup for it to be effective.

It is true, as we can't fully evaluate the potential Magyk Shooter will have in our metagame, seeing as we don't have the necessary cards made to support it yet. I think it is balanced in the fact that it can be run over by Synchros if your opponent has the opportunity to set up Synchros. The life point thing is not that big a deal because this archetype can be very defensive (you will see in future cards) and will be able to take those 1000 drops with ease.

A couple more comments my friends and we will have some more cards added.

Exactly. I wouldn't make the Tuner non-usuable in synchro summons entirely :P. That wouldn't make much sense ;D.
