This means, beside me getting divine powers, that some minor things will be changed to easy everything up a bit. I changed the app a bit, making a difference between powers and physical properties. Also you can now fight any opponent you want, the teams are only for events. [b]And EVERYONE NEEDS TO RE-APP so I can effectively keep track of everyone thier powers.[/b] I also need a new co-Leader so anyone can aply. [spoiler=Ability Classifications] This a whole new idea that will make this thread a lot more complex but will enable other features that will be for the better in the long run. [b]Physical[/b] These attacks/powers rely on the user to get close to the opponent and deliver a strong attack/attacks. While the may be the most vulnerable they also are powerful and pack a punch. (Ex. A fighter relies on up close attacks and if you had this power you would be a physical user.) [b]Range/artillery[/b] These attacks are best used from far away. While the may not be good at hand to hand combat range users can deal damage from far away, while not as powerful as physical fighters they leave less vulnerable spots. (Ex. If you used a bow and arrow you would be a range user.) [b]Magic/Alchemy[/b] Magic users rely mainly on long distance beam or projectile like attacks, they are very skillful but not as good at hand to hand combat as they are at range. They have many different classes of magic but most mainly battle from afar and will not use any weapons except for a wand or an other magical item. (Ex. If i was a warlock i would be an alchemist.) [b]Elemental[/b] In the following Spoilers are the elements and thier abillities, they can be any of the above, they also can have natural side effects as burning or freezing. (Ex. A person who could control sand is considered an elemental type user or an experimentalist. Note: Increasing velocity, power,speed etc. To set a body part on fire or to add an element to it due to the environment does not count as an elemental attack. Ex. If you kicked so fast your foot was on fire it is still physical not elemental.) [spoiler=Earth] Earth is the solid Element. Using Rocks, Builers, Sand and even the Ground itself for its Attacks. Though slow they can really pack a punch and/or create giant walls to defend themselfs. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Fire] Fire is the offensive Element, using its fiery power to burn or melt thier opponent away. it can rage to a fiery storm or a Wall of Fire, but ussually used for the offence. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Water] Water's the ungraspable Element, using its continuous streams of water to slowly degrade your opponent or drown it. Really effective against Mechanical opponents, causing rust or short circuits. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Wind] Wind is the speedy Element, using its control of air currents to litteraly run as the wind. Delivering hit after hit, though not strong, it remains is a force to recon with. Some Wind users even can create twisters or hurricanes, though rarely seen. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Ice] Ice is the restricting Element, using icy gusts and rapid freeze attacks to restrict your opponent from attacking then finishing them with huge creatures or weapons created from thier ice. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Lightning] Lightning is the charging Element also know as energy, though unstable, if used well it can be used for Beams Rays and charge attacks and pack an enormous punch. However this takes a lot of control and it can even turn against its owner. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Darkness] Darkness is the consentrated Element, waiting for an opponent to show thier weak spots before attacking them, hard. With few stealthy attacks, this might be the ultimate assassination Element. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Light] Light is the spreaded Element, using its flashy and wide ranged attacks to give your opponent no way to escape. Though not very powerfull, it can hardly be dodged making it an excelent element for Ranged attacks. [/spoiler] [b]Creature/Beast[/b] Creature/beast fighters may summon or turn into creatures or beasts. They usually excel at speed and power, and sometimes even defence, but rarely use any range attacks. They may have well developed senses and foresight but lack when it comes to anything that isn't natural (Ex. If i could turn into a bear I would be a beast/creature.) [b]Mechanical[/b] Mechanical foes are quite intersting as they come in 2 different versions, The Mastermind and The Einzelganger. Mastermind's use an armada of Robots to do thier bidding. Thier Armies might be though, but they themself are weak. Einzelgangers are singel Robotic Fighters often with wide arranges of weapens, often ruthless and with an immumety to pain, this does not mean they can't be destroyed, just that they don't feel the pain of attacks. (Ex. If i had a mecha suit I would be a mechanical brawler.) [b]Luck[/b] Luck users take very risky moves on a daily basis. Usually they won't use them until the odds are tipped in their favour. Luck users can turn outrageously strong or very vulnerably depending on a fip of a coin or the roll of a die. (Ex. If I used a mighty blast 50 % of the time I would depend on luck.) [b]Mixed[/b] While not a true class by itself, some fighters may be a mix of 2,3 maybe even 4 classes all in one! [spoiler=The explanation of Mako's weapons/reinforcements] NAME: Plasma Repeater: The Type-51 Directed Energy Rifle/Improved (or T51 DER/I) is more commonly identified as the Plasma Repeater. This weapon has only been encountered very recently and only in very limited numbers. It is very likely it is either new to the Covenant arsenal or it is a branch specific weapon. NOTES: Basically shoots small balls of energy. Slows down and overheats after continuous fire. The longer it is shot, the more in accurate it will be. Energy Sword: The Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword (or T1 EW/S) is more commonly identified as the Energy Sword. This weapon consists of a grip that contains an energy storage/generation device and the blade projector and, when activated a blade composed of plasma stabilized within an energy field. The exact mechanism by which it functions is currently under investigation. NOTES: Just a sword. Needler: The Type-33 Guided Munitions Launcher (or T33 GML) is more commonly identified as the Needler. It fires unconventional projectiles that are very long and very sharp—hence Needler. The projectiles are guided by some unknown mechanism and detonate several seconds after coming to rest in soft tissue. NOTES: If several Needles gather in one body, a Super Combine explosion will occur. This is very deadly. Single Needle explosions cause minor damage. Focus Rifle: The Type-52 Special Applications Rifle (or T52 SAR) is also identified as the Focus Rifle. This directed-energy weapon is believed to be battery-powered. The exact mechanism by which it functions is currently under investigation. NOTES: This Laser is instant. Once it is fired, it will hit its target in the blink of an eye. Will overheat after continuous use. Plasma Launcher: The Type-52 Guided Munitions Launcher/Explosive (or T52 GML/E) is more commonly identified as the Plasma Launcher. This system is capable of launching and guiding up to four super-heated plasma bolts at a single target. The bolts will continue to track even if the operator is killed. NOTES: It can fire a max of 4 per volley. Charging takes a little while, but it works under a Fire and Forget function. Sprint – Feel the need? Engage this Ability for a burst of speed that's great for quickly covering ground or escaping sticky situations. Active Camouflage – Go off the grid by engaging Active Camo. Your enemies can’t kill what they cannot see. Stalk, seek, and destroy. Jet Pack – Fly like a bird. Target your opponents. Laugh maniacally. Armor Lock - Become invincible, but immobile. While you're locked down, nothing can hurt you. Evade - Play with your food! As an Elite, you'll be able to bob, weave, and juke to get into the most effective combat position. Hologram - Create a virtual doppelganger of yourself to draw enemy fire or lure unsuspecting opponents out into the open. Drop Shield - A temporary bubble of protection that heals those fortunate enough to be within its sphere of influence. Type-31 Rifle: The Type-31 Rifle (or T31 rifle) is more commonly identified as the Needle Rifle. It fires unconventional projectiles that are very long and very sharp—hence Needle rifle. The projectiles detonate several seconds after coming to rest in soft tissue. NOTES: This projectiles are very fast, and hard to avoid. After 3 Needles gather into flesh, a Super Combine Explosion will occur. Type-25 Pistol: The Type 25 Pistol (or T25 DEP) is more commonly identified as the Plasma Pistol. This small directed energy weapon has two modes of fire: semi-automatic direct and semi-guided AOE. The secondary AOE mode drastically reduces battery life. NOTES: The AOE works as an EMP, disabling shields, machines, and other things. AOE = Area of Effect. Plasma Turret: The Type-52 Directed Energy Support Weapon (or T52 DESW) is more commonly identified as the plasma cannon. This weapon has only been encountered very recently and very likely represents a universal replacement for the aging T42. NOTES: This gun can only be dropped in from a Spirit. Fuel Rod Gun: The Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapon (or T33 LAAW) is more commonly identified as the fuel rod gun. It is a shoulder-launched, man-portable support weapon employed in both anti-personnel and anti-vehicle roles. NOTES: Very Powerful. It works under a clip basis, so it doesn’t over heat. Plasma Rifle: The Type-25 Directed Energy Rifle (or T25 DER) is more commonly identified as the plasma rifle. This weapon was one of the earliest and most frequently encountered. It occupies a role very similar to the MA5/MA37. NOTES: Basic Energy Weapon. Overheats after continuous use. Concussion Rifle: The Type-50 Directed Energy Rifle/Heavy (or T50 DER/H) is more commonly identified as the Concussion Rifle. Because of this weapon’s relative rarity, it is theorized that its use is restricted either by branch or unit. NOTES: This weapon has a very large knockback. It works under a clip basis, and doesn’t overheat. Plasma Grenade (Covenant): The Type-1 Anti-Personnel Grenade (or T1 APG) is more commonly identified as the plasma grenade. Its ability to distinguish between targets is still under investigation. NOTES: This Grenade Sticks to the thrower’s target. It has a devastating damage, and a decent AOE. TYPE-25 SPIRIT: The Type-25 Troop Carrier (or T25 TC) is also known as the Spirit, although it is almost universally identified as troop carrier or dropship. It is capable of carrying up to 30 infantry and 2 vehicles. It is armed with one heavy plasma auto-cannon. NOTES: This can stay in the arena after I call it in from about 2 Posts MAX. It will provide cover support. It will also drop in infantry. It can drop in troops as squads only, ranging from a Max of 2 Elites, Brutes, and Hunters with a mix of either Jackals/Skirmishers or Grunts. HUNTERS Covenant FULL NAME: MGALEKGOLO AFFILIATION: COVENANT More properly regarded as mechanized infantry or weapons platforms, these creatures are universally deployed in pairs (or multiple pairs) to compensate their relative lack of mobility. BRUTE Covenant FULL NAME: JIRALHANAE AFFILIATION: COVENANT Heavily muscled and extremely tall pseudo-ursine. Following the Harvest campaign this species has no longer been observed in any type of leadership role, being fielded primarily as heavy infantry or shock troops. DRONE (BUGGER) Covenant FULL NAME: YANME'E AFFILIATION: COVENANT Drones (often referred to as buggers) are tall, multi-limbed arthropods. It is theorized that their generally high morale and fierceness are biochemical in nature. They are best described as irregular troops. JACKAL Covenant FULL NAME: KIG-YAR AFFILIATION: COVENANT Jackals and Skirmishers are of the same species, with the smaller, more lightly built specimens seeing deployment as dedicated ranger or sniper units (Jackals) and the larger, more heavily muscled specimens comprising grenadier-type units (Skirmishers). ELITE Covenant FULL NAME: SANGHEILI AFFILIATION: COVENANT Sinewy and extremely tall saurians. Following the First Battle of Harvest in 2525 this species has been observed exclusively as the leadership of the Covenant in all military engagements. They are disciplined and proficient combatants. GRUNT Covenant FULL NAME: UNGGOY AFFILIATION: COVENANT Short and broad bipedal arthropods. Typically travel in groups up to eight. Lack discipline; tend to panic once local command has been eliminated. This will occasionally manifest itself as a suicidal attempt to eliminate the forces that eliminated its commander(s) SKIRMISHER Covenant FULL NAME: KIG-YAR AFFILIATION: COVENANT Skirmisher: The Jackal and Skirmisher are of the same species, with the larger, more heavily muscled specimens comprising grenadier-type units (Skirmishers) and the smaller, more lightly built specimens seeing deployment as dedicated ranger or sniper units (Jackals). Only for small amounts.) - Blizzard (duh) - Strenght (Protects the trees by hardening thier bark and grow them slightly) - Burnable (has an enlarged weakness against fire attacks) Class: Elemental (Ice & Earth) [/spoiler] [spoiler==Evangelion=] Power(s): - Swarm (when destroyed it can resummon itself up to 3 times, before Summoning its hidden form.) - Shadow Rays (Shoots then from the eyes) - Limbless (really slow in moving) Physical Properties: - Equalizer (While in normal mode: gains the same Physical properties as foe (including weaknesses) - (Anything the hidden form has). Class: Elemental [Darkness], Magic [/spoiler] [spoiler=Tomiix] Power(s): - Has Flame Trowers, Machine Guns, Hand drills and a Jet Pack on its Mecha suit. - Portable Teleport Bots (Plants 2 bots to teleport between them, it is also usable by the opponent and takes time to set up) - Electric Arc Bots (plants small bots that can create a small electronic fence between them on command) - Transform (transforms the bot into an tank that can fire cannons, but loses the other powers (besides transform)) Physical Powers: - All those of a regular human. Using Battle Points (BP) you can buy upgrades giving you an advantage in combat. You can get BP from winning battles and winning tournaments. Obviously the More powerful upgrades cost more. Also keep in mind that we may also run out of stock so the faster you defeat your opponent the faster you can get that valuable item. You may be lucky enough to win a BP card. It's somewhat small and is decorated in a X-mass like facion, though it seems to be removable. There's a small counter on the far side of the room with a saleswoman behind it also dresses in a X-mas like outfit. And she says: "[i]Welcome to the arena's Event shop. On some occasions the arena awards special prices that you can only buy with Special Cupons, though you need to have fought in the event to get one. If it breaks, or is locked you can go to uss and we'l fix it within 2 weeks. Now would you like to trade your Cupon for [b]1[/b] new skil or weapon?[/i]" The Items: - Enchanted Ice Sword/Claws: An icy cold weapon, that deals Ice damage, slightly increases your Melee attack and has a 10% chance of freezing your opponent. - Enchanted Ice Armor/Shield: An armor made out of ice, that halves any damage done to you by Ice attacks. But is doubles any damage done to you by Fire attacks. - Demi-Paindeer Summon: Mages or Mecha Masters can Summon 1 of the 9 weakened smaller versions of the Paindeer to fight with them. That are slow, but powerfull. - Present Bomber: Gives you a backpack full of grenades and bombs, that decrease your speed, but increases Arttillery. - PermaIce (Bracelet): An mystical Item of an ice that never melts. it Ups the power of Ice moves by 1.5x its original power. Creature/Beast has been chosen for the exact reason of an Elites physical formation of the body, with jaws that split into for pieces as well as many other traits. Their jaws and semi-clawed hands can be used as efficient weapons, although not preferred. Range/Artillery is pretty obvious, with the massive amount of Long Ranged weaponry he would carry with him. Physical could also work with Creature/Beast, although Physical will use an Energy Sword more than anything else. I will include a list of the weapons, armor abilities, and such, if necessary. I thought I explained Physical Properties well enough, but let me do it again. Physical properties are the things that your body/Army posseses. Like Claws or flight or something else like that. Or high speed, agility or extra limbs. The Powers are the special abilliteties that don't come with your body, like magic or Guns (except if you're an Mecha with Guns that are a part of your body) also special talents like Mind Reading and stuff like that. Even if I do get hit while using this technique, I'll only suffer anywhere from 1-50% of the attack's full damage. Ultima: (High powered Magic/Artillery-based attack that I can use to destroy projectiles and vaporize lesser magic attacks, as well as deal damage. Takes time to charge before I can deal full damage with it, but I CAN unleash it early at 1/3 or 2/3 damage. I cannot use my other techniques while charging this attack, but I can still move, dig, throw a few punches etc.) Jagged Earthquake: (Medium-High powered Earth-based attack that is practically an earthquake that sends chunks of earth flying in all directions, approximately a meter or two away from the quake itself. Because of the nature if this attack, it's impossible to dodge at melee range, and it makes other close range dodging attempts sceptical, albeit still possible.) Blood Drain: (Medium powered Creature/Beast-based attack that drains the blood of my enemies, which in turn heals me by 100% of the damage I do. In return however, I also receive any status ailments that my enemy might have. For example, if my enemy was poisoned at the time I used Blood Drain, I too would be poisoned. Also fails against Mechanical foes.) NeuroSlam: (Medium-High powered Physical-based attack which consists of me slamming my tail into my enemy and injecting a powerful acid. And I added another Physical propertie you forgot yourself. Though I can always remove it if you don't want it. The molding attack cannot be used continuously, the Earthquake cannot destroy or damage the arena walls, and the throwing picking up power is ok, as long as you don't use it to pick up builders/rocks imbedded within the arena floor. And the digging power only works till a pretty shallow depth and the tunnels can easily collaps, so they can't be used to hide in for long periods. Also I don't accept the Blood Drain healing power, it would be way to abusable in battles, seeing as most fighters here aren't mechanical.
