Spellweaver (New Archetype-Updated)

[center]So with so many ideas floating about my busy lil' head, this idea came about after designing a few cards for Pop Culture. I grew fond of the idea behind the deck and decided to make them a little more realistic!

As ever, rates, hates, loves and anything between is loved, so please leave a comment!

Note: The more comments I have, the more feedback I can work with and so, more cards I can add! Leave a comment please!

When this card is Summoned, place 4 'Arcane' tokens on this card (Max 6). When this card is selected as a attack target, place 1 'Arcane' token on this card.

When this card is Summoned, place 4 'Arcane' counters on this card (Max 6). Once per turn, you can remove 1 'Arcane' counter from this card to look at the top card of your deck, then place the card back on top of your deck, you can then chose to shuffle your deck.

When this card is Summoned, place 4 'Arcane' counters on this card (Max 6). Once per turn, you can remove 2 'Arcane' counters from this card and add one 'Arcane Magic' card from your graveyard, to your hand.

When this card is Summoned, place 4 'Arcane' counters on this card (Max 6). This card can not be destroyed by battle. When another monster with 'Spellweaver' in its name is destroyed by battle, destroy this card.

When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Spellcaster monster with 1500ATK or less from your deck.

When this card is Summoned, place 2 'Arcane' counters on this card (Max 6). As long as this card has any 'Arcane' counters on, it can attack your opponent directly.

When this card is Summoned, place 4 'Arcane' counters on this card (Max 6). During your end phase, place 1 'Arcane' counter on 1 monster you control.

You can only activate this card by removing 2 'Arcane' counters from a monster you control. Deal 500 damage to your opponent. If there is another 'Arcane Spell - Fira' in your Graveyard, deal and extra 500 Damage.

You can only activate this card by removing 2 'Arcane' counters from a monster you control. Select 1 monster your opponent controls, that monster can not declare a attack until your next standby phase. If there is another 'Arcane Spell - Blizzard' in your Graveyard, the selected monster can not attack until the end of your opponents second turn after this cards activation.

You can only activate this card by removing 2 'Arcane' counters from a monster you control. Select 1 monster your opponent controls, that monsters loses 500 DEF. If there is another 'Arcane Spell - Thundaga' in your graveyard, the selected monster is also switched to defence position.

You can only activate this card by removing 2 'Arcane' counters from a monster you control. Select 1 monster your opponent controls, that monsters loses 500 ATk. If there is another 'Arcane Spell - Poison' in your Graveyard, destroy the selected monster.

You can only activate this card by removing 2 'Arcane' tokens from a monster you control. Select 1 monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it. The Special Summoned Monster can not have counters placed on it until your next Standby Phase.

Remove from play the selected monster and Special Summon 1 Gaueko Wolf token (Beast-type/DARK/Level6/ATK 2300/DEF 200) in face up attack position to your side of the field. When the token is destroyed, Special Summon the monster that was removed from play by this card, it's effect is negated until the end of the turn in which it was Special Summoned.

You can only activate this card by selecting 1 monster you control and removing 3 Arcane counters from it. Remove from play the selected monster and Special Summon 1 Manticore (Beast-type/DARK/Level5/ATK 2100/DEF 200) in face up attack position to your side of the field. When the token is destroyed, Special Summon the monster that was removed from play by this card, it's effect is negated until the end of the turn in which it was Special Summoned.

You can only activate this card by selecting 1 monster you control and removing 3 Arcane counters from it. Remove from play the selected monster and Special Summon 1 Seps token (Reptile-type/EARTH/Level5/ATK 1300/DEF 2500) in face up attack position to your side of the field. When the token is destroyed, Special Summon the monster that was removed from play by this card, it's effect is negated until the end of the turn in which it was Special Summoned.

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Summoned, add 1 Spellcaster monster that is removed from play, to your hand. When this card attacks,your opponent can not activate Trap cards.

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. When this card is Summoned, add 1 Spellcaster monster that is removed from play, to your hand. When this card attacks, your opponent can not activate Spell cards.

Cant believe no one comments! I love this set, especially because you put Final Fantasy spells in :3. Good idea discarding Counters to play Spells, as if it was mana. Keep going! :3 Im tempted to do one Spellweaver Final Fantasy beast, lets see what i come up with (consider it a gift from my part lol)

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by selecting 1 "Arcane" monster you control and removing 6 Arcane Counters from it. Once per turn, if you have 1 or more "Arcane Spell - Fira" in your Graveyard, deal 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card destroys a non-FIRE monster by battle, you can remove 1 Arcane Counter from a monster you control to damage your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x100. If this face-up card is removed from the field, you can remove from play 1 "Arcane Spell - Fira" in your Graveyard to deal 800 damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Maybe this gives you more ideas ;D

I smell Final Fantasy... Lol.

Anyway, I like these cards. While the OCG could use some improvement, it's not bad. Ifrit could definitely use a cut-down on the effects so it would be less impossible to read, in addition to loosening up its power level. The part that bothers me the most about Ifrit is the damage equal to level x 100 and the damage from the death effect. As for the other Spellweaver cards, starting off with 4 Arcane Counters seems a bit much to me. If they started out with 2, it would be a little more balanced in my opinion.

Aside from those things, I like the idea so keep up the good work! 8/10 and +1 Rep. :)
