A new fusion card.

FTW (For The Wynn)

Recommended Posts

I bet you're expecting a Fusion Monster. Well, too bad. I have plans for a new fusion later, but right now this is about an alternative to Polymerization. This is either broken as all hell or a kickass card. CnC's are what I'm looking for. Also, heads up, I'm sorry for the pic right now. It isn't the best, but I think it works.

This card is treated as "Polymerization". Pay 1500 Life Points. Send Fusion Material Monsters from your side of the field that are listed on a Fusion Monster Card, and Special Summon that monster from your Extra Deck. (This Special Summon is treated as a Fusion Summon.) The Fusion Monster Special Summoned by the effect of this card gains the effects of the Fusion Material monsters used to Special Summon it.
Here's what I'm going to say about this card right now. It's another experiment, of sorts. Usually I would consider this potentially broken, but I'm redefining my idea of broken cards because apparently it isn't entirely correct. I'm not too familiar with the meta, so I'm trying to familiarize myself with what's broken and what is merely OP'd and what's just awesome. Also, this card is inspired by my firmly held belief that Synchros should be about Speed and Fusions, because they are slower, should be more powerful as an entity. That's all I have to say, so get on with it. I would prefer that you stay civil, calling this "OMG BROKENZ 0/10" does nothing to improve the card or my skill. I will give out Reps for good reviews and good suggestions, but likewise I'll neg you for being a flamer or a troll.

Hate/Rate/Whatever.

Edit: Before you talk to me about Chimeratech Overdragon RAEP, you'd better notice the "on your side of the field" part of the card.

First I though about how this + AG Golem + AG Beast = would make the TRUE Ultimate AG Golem.
Anyways I really see a lot of abuse in Sycnhro-Fusion Decks. Both overal it looks kinda ballanced.
I'm not that shure about all Fusions out there, but most wouldn't make this card very broken.

So a good card, I'm probebly going to be flamed by people who know all the Fusions out there, but nevermind that.

A 8.6/10

I remember you mentioning this.

I honestly don't know in answer to your question. I don't know enough fusions. But I would have thought that most fusion monsters have better/enhanced effects than their materials, so I don't know if it's even worth the 1500 Life Points for just some bonus effects.

I can't see how this would be overpowered personally, but you'd need the judgement who uses Fusions.

OCG and pic look fine.

I do use fusions, or at least I used to. Actually, thinking about it, there aren't many cards that would gain by this, but it was an idea and I'm planning to use it to aid with my newest idea. So, in a way, this is a prequel to a new small Set. Also, if I hadn't put the thing about the field in it, it would be broken in a Sacred Beast/Destiny Hero/Elemental Hero/several other fusion making decks.

I considered that, but it's more useful this way. Just like what I said with Chimeratech, I'll say with Zero: It requires the monsters to be on your side of the field. If you want to super nuke Worm Zero with this card, they only way to do it is by having all those monsters here on the field. That limits its attack gain, and most of the effects it gains will probably be useless because "Worms" are mostly flip effects. I know Book of Moon, but if you can pull it off by having all those cards, then it should be worth it.

I love this card, 9/10.
I don't personally think it is broken or Op'd, but there will always be players who find ways to abuse cards.
As for the Worm problem, flipping the fusion face down, would cancel the spell cards effects so there is no way for this to be broken in that sense.
Well done :)

Am not going to say its broken because its fairly balanced IMO. Its balanced because of these: "Pay 1500 Life Points."'even tho that is a bit much) and "from your side of the field"(which you have already stated). It is not broken, but it is what you can call a powerful card, would most likely be limited. Am not sure but there is a wide range of FUN combos that can be done with this card, sorry too lazy to look up any. But i believe you are able to create some powerful combination using this card.

Peace/

Yay Elemental Hero Terra Firma would be awesome with this thingy, you can add 1 Polymerization (or this card cuz you said that its name is treated as Polymerization) and 1 Elemental Hero from your Graveyard with just 1 card :D. I love Fusion Monster, so definitely this card is perfectly fine with me.. There are a lot of possibilities with this card, but it's just awesome ! 10/10 ;)

I think this card is extremely useful, but not broken--1500 Life Points is a very nice chunk. I'd keep it as is, though. As an example, Absolute Zero decks get the bonus of a 2500+ ATK monster who is unaffected by traps (wildheart), and Vehicroids get a 3000 ATK direct attacker in Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill (submarineroid). But the advantage is these archetypes aren't really seen normally, and so if you were to introduce this card into the metagame all on its own it wouldn't do much except make Absolute Zero decks more popular.

What scares me though, is a Supreme Arcanite Magician who can generate his own Spell Counters. That, sir, is RAEP. Not Chimeratech Overdragon.

OMG 0/10 BROKENZ

I...really like what this card does. This could singlehandedly make a lot of those not-so-hot archetypes with Fusions much more playable. Clearly it allows for some serious 'Roid Rage, and it makes Chimeratech Overdragon a veritable Swiss Army Knife of any five machines you can bust out at the same time. Truth be told, I think the most of what this card would do is this.

1. Spawn lulzy Chimeratech Overroid / Morphtronic decks like crazy.

2. Disrupt the hell out of the meta and outright embarass Infernities.

3. Get banned faster than you can say "Victory Dragon."

Oh yeah, I can see the combos already. Morphtronic Boarden + Morphtronic Radion + Cyber Phoenix + Jinzo

And the list goes on and on...good thing Dark Gaia requires a specific fusion card or this would be all kinds of wrong.

A decent card, although I think its last effect is waaay too OP'D...By the way, you do know that by saying "this card's name is treated as Polymerization" you forbid somebody from using 3 Polys and 3 of this card together, right? (You know, 3-copies per card limit...) Love the pic though I'll give it a...*opens notepad* 7.3/10!
